One simply cannot be a leader in the Mormon religion and also be a Biblical-Christian."

"A deceived and ill-informed member of a Mormon religious gathering, perhaps, but not a leader who should know better. Read today's article where he touts Obamacare should use Romneycare and you expect 'real' conservatives to support the flip flopper. My reason for not supporting Romney is that he is a MA liberal who ran as a Republican because he didn't want to meet Kennedy in the primary. He ran on a pro-choice agenda for Governor. Didn't like Reagan and the list could go on.

Romney supporters don't have a clue about conservatives or you wouldn't make such a statement that he is very conservative -- very few except his most ardent supporters would buy into that talking point.

Since when is not liking a particular church you don't agree with, being a bigot? Personally I wouldn't like Romney if he were Baptist or any other religion after what his camp did to Rudy and Thompson and tried with McCain in 2008.

I believe in Free Speech and why your post was not removed -- want conservatives to read that you think we are bigots because we don't support Romney since he is Mormon. You all are sounding more like Obama supporters by the day. Two Presidential elections in a row I am considered a bigot. Once from the Democrats and now from the Romney camp. You all make life interesting I must say. Thanks for outing how all of you feel about us on Red State who refuse to sit down and shut up or support Romney.

Why would we want Romney in the White House after his 'scorched earth' policy so he could use it on anyone who disagreed with him.

You have proven the point of what we have had to say about Romney supporters. You all have mixed religion and politics and now cannot understand anyone who dares to not go along.

How would anyone know what Romney is since he has flip flopped all over the place and doesn't seem to be able to tell the truth on various issues about where he stands. The internet and its vast search opportunities has become the thorn in the Romney side.

Thanks for pointing out that if you don't support Romney you are a bigot because he is Mormon. Your definition of the term conservative and mine are 180 degrees apart if Romney is a conservative. Even the establishment is not buying into that.

Good try but epic fail!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13530224285593772953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3784561315774230886.post-87837815787640235742012-03-03T14:53:28.937-06:002012-03-03T14:53:28.937-06:00Obviously, most of the people posting here, and pr...Obviously, most of the people posting here, and pretty much the entire "Red State" crew is anti-Romney, but that's not because of his "conservativeness" is weak. He is very conservative. However, it is Romney's religion that is causing the bigots to come out in full vibrato. It's obvious through attempts to downplay "just Mormons" that you underestimate the Mormons' position as a cross-section of regular, conservative Americans. There is nothing "just" or "only" about it. They are a significant marker of the general populus, and they tend to defend their own when they are unjustly attacked. It is people like the ones on here and the "Red State" that are weakening the Republican position for November, not Romney or the Mormons.mbd1978https://www.blogger.com/profile/17545274251305233501noreply@blogger.com
