Are Hard Right Republicans Fit to Lead the Country? This Republican Woman Says NO!

This collage of comments against Romney is good for a laugh to see how the GOP takes back their words in order to turn into pretzels to support Romney.  Simply amazing but then we are seeing it from some of the same Republicans who trashed Akin and now support him holding a fund raiser for Akin hosted by Senators DeMint, Graham, Coburn, and Inhofe.  Seems getting a Senate seat to flip from Democrat to GOP is more important then any integrity.  Akin has a war on women that is ongoing and Romney has a war on the 47% -- neither should be elected to any office.
If Republican Senators are willing to support someone like Aiken, what kind of an agenda would Republicans have if they took over the Senate, House and the White House?  Would it be a hard right agenda where abortion is outlawed and women would be getting backdoor abortions with no medical care?  What grinds me to no end is this group of white guys being the determining factor on women's health in their minds.  They don't know what women go through or the issues they are facing -- they just want to enforce their agenda on the rest of us and many women including Republican women are not buying their koolaid.
The latest to come out of the hard right wing of the GOP is that all the polling is wrong as too many Dems and leaning Dems are being counted which will depress the vote.  News to those pundits and GOP leadership, there are a lot of Republican women who will NOT vote for a white male Republican this time with their neanderthal thinking starting with Romney.  How many Republican women are going to vote for Scott Brown now when they don't even like Warren?  Would say the percentage is dropping with his rhetoric he can tell by looking who is an Indian and who is not.  What is in the water in the Republican side of the Senate to act like a bunch of jerks this year who are alienating women along with a lot of men with their hard right stance?  
Bottom line is that women are a lot smarter than the white males of the GOP leadership want us to be.  A lot of us have quit swallowing their koolaid of the right and are starting to think for ourselves on who we are going to vote for on November 6th no matter the party.  If there is a women running for office on my ballot, she has my vote after what I have been witnessing.  I don't care the party after seeing the GOP support a man like Akin in MO who doesn't believe in equal pay for equal work.  Aiken also calls student loans a cancer, but when you have a candidate like Romney who says ask your parents for the money for college or to start a business, you know you have candidates who could care less about middle class or the poor.  Guess it is our fault for not being born with a silver spoon in our mouths.  
The GOP stands to lose a lot of women over this election along with minorities and males who don't want to be associated with this type of thinking where women and minorities are supposed to be inferior to the intellect of the white male Republicans like Rush Limbaugh and others.  That is exactly how today's Republican Party is coming across to many in this Country.  The GOP attacks on benefits of our veterans and military, senior's social security and medicare, civil service pay and retirement, teachers, fire, and police along with wanting to destroy all unions seems to be the orchestrated agenda of the wealthy Republicans IMHO.  When the wealth donors say jump to Republican members of Congress, they seem to be asking "How high?" as they are doing everything in their power to keep tax cuts and loopholes for the wealthy.  
This group of Republicans in leadership seem to have little empathy for people as a whole and buy into the 'every man for themselves' ignoring that we are all in this together as We the People.  My prediction for November 6th, 2012, election is that the GOP is going to lose big with their narrow mindedness and refusing to heed Jeb Bush's advice that we have to reach out to minorities -- bet he never figured they would be attacking women too!   
You know it is bad when you are watching a political show of left leaners and they are praising George W Bush for his compassionate conservatism or listening to Nancy Pelosi say that GW was very nice and respectful when she worked with him.  Says a lot about the class of George W Bush who was trashed by the likes of Limbaugh and others on the right.   He had class which we are not seeing out of Republicans in leadership today including Romney/Ryan along with some Republican male candidates for Senate like Akin, Brown, Thompson, and others.  They really don't like running against women for Senate if their comments  debate are any indication.  Yet they want women to vote for them?

Pence Statement on Unemployment Numbers

Congressman Pence (R-IN) once again has called on Democrat leaders for a new direction with the economy. Will they listen or will President Obama call another Summit this time on the economy so he can lecture Republicans, Democrats can tell their sob stories, and Republicans will give the facts and ideas once again? We have a hunch we have seen the last Summit as Obama didn't like being put on the defensive, but we believe one on the economy is warranted. Then the American people can once again see the difference in the two parties in Congress.

There are 7.5 million people out of work in this Country and yet the Democrats continue down the same path on Obamacare which will add billions to the deficit, cause some doctors to leave their profession which, in turn, lays off more people, and the Obama Administration will add to the bloated Federal payroll to handle the new duties of the Government in Healthcare.

For years the Federal Government has tried to trim the Federal payroll, but since the Democrats took over it has grown by leaps and bounds. Now the Obama Administration is looking to put private business out of business to bring various business sectors in house like healthcare, automobile (two companies already owned by the Government), Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), banks, etc. There is also some talk of oil and gas takeover by the Government -- is Obama trying to nationalize our industries so everyone works for the Government? It is a scary thought but we are part way there.

What can we do? Keep after our elected Congressman and Senators and ask the more moderate Democrats to join our JUST VOTE NO! against Government run healthcare and quit adding federal jobs. The Stimulus was not to grow the government with new people but to help private industry, but the result has been to add more government employees at all levels and in some cases states used the money to keep government employees. The 'stimulus' should have been named 'Government Jobs Stimulus' which would have been a better description.

Calls on Democrat Leaders to Embrace New Direction for Economic Recovery

Washington, DC -

U.S. Congressman Mike Pence, chairman of the House Republican Conference, issued the following statement today after the Department of Labor announced the loss of 36,000 jobs in the month of February:

"The economic policies of President Obama and Speaker Pelosi have failed. It has been a year since Democrats in Washington said they would keep unemployment below 8 percent by passing a $862 billion stimulus bill. Yet today unemployment hovers around 10 percent, 36,000 jobs were lost last month and more than 7.5 million jobs have been lost since Democrats took control of Congress three years ago.

"Today's jobs report confirms once again that the so-called stimulus has failed. The American people know we cannot borrow, spend and bail our way back to a growing economy. It is time for the Democrat leaders to embrace a new direction for economic recovery-fiscal discipline in Washington and across the board tax relief for working families, small businesses and family farms."

Poll: Majority of Americans Support Cutting Size of Government Workforce

We agree with the outcome of this survey 100% and why we have been trying to call attention to what is happening at Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins, GA, where they are going gangbusters to hire engineers, etc. who they plan to utimately replace the 67 businesses currently working in Automatic Test Sytems today. These new hires will be used to do manufacturing in-house like a contractor except with their overinflated salaries and benefits of civil service.

These new Civil Service hires are also going to be used to replace test equipment that doesn't need replaced in order to establish the Robins Empire for Automatic Test Systems to the tune of well over a billion of taxpayer dollars that will be wasted before it is said and done. How can an organization inside the Air Force be a contractor? Who gave them the contract and who will oversea their work? Pretty good if you can get it -- give yourself the contract, hire more government people, put private business out of business, and everyone has to come to your organization. One slight problem they don't have the expertise but they moving ahead wasting our tax dollars anyway.

It is time the Air Force was cutting their civilian work force not increasing. Is anyone listening?

Poll: Majority of Americans Support Cutting Size of Government Workforce

CNSNews.com) -- A Rasmussen Reports poll shows that 58 percent of Americans support cutting the size of the government workforce to reduce the deficit, while 22 percent oppose the idea and 19 percent are “not sure.”

The Feb. 5 poll also found that 51 percent support cutting pay for non-military government employees, while 32 percent opposed the idea and 17 percent are not sure.

Roughly three-fifths of Americans (59 percent) believe government workers earn more money than the average taxpayer, according to the poll, while 15 percent believe that they do not, and 26 percent are undecided.

Rank-and-file representatives in the U.S. House receive an annual salary of $174,000, while the Speaker of the House receives $223,000. The majority and minority leaders both claim $193,400 a year.

The rank-and-file senator also makes $174,000 a year while the Majority Party Leader and Minority Party Leader in the Senate both take in $194,400, in 2010.

As for staffers, limits are placed on how much money they can make. As of 2007, the maximum salary for a staffer in a member’s office was $156,000, while committee staffers may be eligible for a slightly higher salary.
