Romney, the Spoiled Brat, Unmasked Tuesday Night

If you didn't think he was raised as a spoiled brat who everyone had to bow down before, this should do it from his wife about when she was dating others he was so upset it put him in the hospital and then she follows the lead of Romney that serving in a "Mission" is the same as serving in the Military.  The Romneys are part of the privileged class that the rest of us are here to serve.  When Ann Romney told the women of The View to ask her husband, I couldn't believe it because he refuses to go on The View.  They were stunned.

The whole family needs brought down to earth from the lofty perch looking down at the rest of us.  Looks like they raised their sons to be the same entitled people as the two of them are with his oldest son wanting to go punch out Obama with absolutely zero respect for the Office of the President.  School yard bully comes to mind.  This was the next day he made those remarks not during the debate.  More low class out of the wealthy Romney Clan who as a good friend said are "perfect."

These comments sums up what many of us saw in the saw in the debate from Willard Mitt Romney:

Romney challenged the moderator, disrespected the President, and showed America he is rude, obnoxious, and a schoolyard bully borne of arrogance, entitlement, and inability to acknowledge authority.

No-one really knows what shaped Willard Romney into the self-important, arrogant malcontent he is today, but it appears that between his life of wealth and entitlement coupled with his religious upbringing as a princely god-in-waiting, he was molded into a disrespectful bully who cannot bring himself to show deference to the President and in fact, treated him like an underling or worse; a cursed-by-god dark-skinned man unworthy of respect. 

The last end of the paragraph above bothers me the worst when it says "a cursed-by-god dark-skinned man unworthy of respect" which unfortunately is what you take away from the comments of a lot of Republicans who speak out against Obama that he is not American, doesn't know or understand America, and try to make him seem almost less than human at times.  Their obvious racial overtones have not gone unnoticed especially when you realize that the Republican Party is now the home once again to the John Birchers and the white southern Democrat racist males who found a home in the Republican Party with the anti-illegal immigration crowd many of them who don't care if minorities are here legally or not as they all have to leave this country of whites where white males dominate.  There is also the faction in the Republican Party especially the Tea Party who do not believe women should vote or you have to own property to vote.

It is the old barefoot and pregnant mentality we are seeing out of the GOP today with their attacks on women whose crime is to want equal pay or horrors of horrors want contraceptives paid for while the good old boys want to keep getting their Viagra for free.  The very idea that a black man is President makes them seethe with anger and thus some of the off the wall comments we are getting.  They are not treating women much better with their remarks calling women sluts, etc. like Limbaugh and even some GOP Congressmen and Senate candidates.

Women will not be relegated to binders no matter how much Romney and others want that to happen.  Fox Tabloid News is trying to set women back years with their attacks on Candy Crowley, the moderator of the debate, for doing her job.  How dumb are they to redefine act of terror as not being terrorism all to defend Romney?

Then there was the Alfred E. Smith dinner in NYC last night where Romney took the occasion to roast Obama which politicians do not do as it is about making fun of yourself and the other candidate.  Some of Romney's jokes made no sense.  But then there is this from a Romney supporter:

These are the same people who compared Candy Crowley to Nazi's and John Wilkes Booth who shot Abraham Lincoln.  The lack of class from this group of Republicans leaves a lot of us cold and asking what happened to decency from the GOP?  The very fact that Romney used this dinner to Bash President Obama shows the total lack of character and class of the candidate:

This year, someone needed to tell Mitt Romney that you're supposed to make a few jokes about yourself at these events. He seemed to think it was a roast of President Obama and treated it more like another campaign stop, rather than a charity event. 

I think the President did a lot better job of keeping things a little more light-hearted and with making fun of himself and his last debate performance in particular. 

As people who read this blog know, I have been calling Mitt Romney a spoiled brat for sometime who thinks he is better then the rest of us.  Looks like I am not the only one who is seeing through Romney especially after the debate Tuesday night.   This idea of the Mormon Church that males are superior is stunning in today's world and makes me wonder why ANY woman would ever vote for Romney:

Whether it is due to his cult’s belief that Mormon males are without fault and princely from the age of twelve, or because he was born into wealth and privilege, Willard had the look of disbelief that anyone on Earth dared to doubt, challenge, or correct his stunning lies and misinformation, and for the first time in the campaign, his vapid, soulless eyes showed emotion.

Having a real problem understanding Republicans who are going out defending Romney -- makes no sense.  Do they think a man this flawed can be controlled when he meets foreign leaders and one of them disagrees with what he is saying?  For once, will Republicans in leadership positions put the Country over the Party by telling the American voters what they really think.  What some say in private about Mitt Romney is that he would be a disaster for this Country and you cannot trust the man as he has no core values?  Will they say it in public -- no way!  What are they afraid of?  The John Birchers, the Tea Party, big donors like the Koch Brothers and Adelson, the religious right, social conservatives, being called names, or are they just afraid of their own shadows and go along to get along.

Even after Romney was exposed at the debate Tuesday night as being a bully and a total jerk, the RNC Chair said Obama lied not Romney.  What was he drinking as it was clear Romney was the liar?  Then there was former NY Governor Pataki defending Romney on Libya with comments that made me mute my TV.  The clincher for me came from Michael Steele saying Romney was right on Libya when it was proven wrong.  In this campaign, the pundits and Republicans who are speaking on the networks supporting Romney have the credibility of a gnat.  Takes you less than a minute to discover they are lying when you do the search.

Despicable is the word that comes to mind that this group will take down a whole party to see a very flawed candidate from their Party become President.  Is it because they hate the fact that someone other then a white male is the President.  With their attacks on women this time, I have to believe a woman would be treated just like they are treating Obama which is like scum.

One of the most difficult and under-appreciated jobs in America is being a public school teacher for myriad reasons, but none more than dealing with children whose parents coddle them from birth and inculcate them with the notion they can do no wrong. It is a disservice to children, and teachers, for parents to indoctrinate their child to believe that not only are they perfection exemplified, but that their excellence makes them immune to authority. Most teachers have experienced a student who refuses to follow instructions based on their deep-seated belief their superiority exempts them from following directions or adjusting to social norms.

It was not surprising Willard stood and lied time and time again, it is what pathological liars do, but his insolence, rude behavior, and blatant disrespect for the President, moderator, and debate rules he agreed on was stunning. What Romney verified was that he presents symptoms of anti-social personality disorder that informs his “narcissism, extreme sense of entitlement, and intolerance for authority figures” that he put on display for 65-million Americans in Tuesday’s debate.

One of the rules Romney agreed on was no questions from one candidate to the other, and Romney broke that simple rule often. It wasn’t just that he asked President Obama direct questions, he harassed him and at one point told the President “answer the question, answer the question” as if he was the authority figure and the President was his employee or a witness being grilled by a slimy defense attorney. In one exchange, Romney asked the President about oil drilling permits, and he interrupted and badgered the President by repeating the question 6 times before he stopped running his mouth, and then interrupted the President again and told him “you’ll get your chance in a moment, I’m still speaking.” It was, without a doubt, typical of an arrogant spoiled child used to bullying his parents that educators see from children who never learned social convention whether it is in a school setting, at home, or at family functions, but one never expected to see such rude behavior from a presidential candidate.

Romney also attempted to bully and manipulate the moderator as he had done in the first debate, except Ms. Crowley is not Jim Lehrer and at one point she told Willard, “if I can have you sit down governor Romney;” it must have stung Romney to have anyone, much less a woman, tell him, in essence, to sit down and shut up.

President Obama won the debate on Tuesday, and he won using facts and challenging every one of Romney’s lies and deceitful assertions. He also exposed Romney as a fraud because when his lies were stripped away, and the bully was smacked down, what was left was a sniveling little brat who has never been challenged or corrected. When he was confronted as a liar and bloviate incapable of showing deference to the President or debate moderator, he was exposed for what he really is; a bully that a school teacher would report as antisocial and in need of immediate intervention.

No matter whether you like or detest the person who is President, you should respect the Office of the President.  It is obvious that Mitt Romney has little regard for anyone but himself as he is Mr. Perfect and how dare anyone question anything he says.

Once again I am asking how Republican voters can vote for such a flawed candidate and think they are doing their civic duty?  Do they really want Romney representing the United States when he states Russia is our biggest geopolitical ally or that we have to take out the Iranian nuclear reactors.  He doesn't care about sending young men and women to war.  After all he is someone who demonstrated FOR the Vietnam War and then got a deferment from the Mormon Church to go to France on a Mormon Mission which the family equates to being in the military.  Republicans deserve to lose it all this time for giving us Willard Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, an Ayn Rand disciple, as the GOP candidates for President and Vice President.

Texas Chief Justice Says Ranch Furor an Overreaction

This article by the Texas Tribune gives the details on the rock incident that Cain and Romney were so fast to go after Governor Perry inferring he was racist.  Those are some the most offensive comments to date out of those two because the Governor is not racist in any way, shape, or form.  Never thought I would see the day when Texas Democrats stand up for Rick Perry but what they have said is true about the Governor and how he treats people from other races.  These Democrats are more honest then two of our candidates who never bothered to get the facts before trashing Governor Perry.  Anything to score points.

The black Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court who Governor Perry appointed has now added his comments (see below) to the controversy started by the hit piece by the Washington Post and fanned by Karl Rove and his two puppets running for President Romney and Cain.  Are you going to believe the Chief Justice of the TX Supreme Court along with a group of Texas Democrats or the Washington Post, Herman Cain, and Mitt Romney?  The answer is clear when you have black Texas Democrats defending Governor Perry that Cain and Romney are once again on the wrong side of this issue.  Do those two even know what a hunting lease is all about?  We have our doubts.

Now we are learning that the rock was painted over by Perry's parents shortly after they signed the hunting lease in the early 80's.  When it is brought out by the Washington Post as a very important issue, you know first it is a hit piece and then you begin to ask "Why?"  The Washington Post along with Cain and Romney are completely ignoring the facts that Governor Perry has always appointed the best people to the job regardless of race.  


One week he gets trashed for a bill from 2001 when he had been in office a few months that gave the children of illegals in-state tuition in Texas (only four voted against) as being soft on immigration, and the next week he is basically called a racist.  The establishment Republicans are now going over the top in their attempts to take him out and have found willing accomplices in the mainstream media who are afraid that Perry can beat Obama.  Forget the polls, go talk to people throughout the Country and you discover this adoration of Romney is not there like it is in the MSM and Cain is even less.   Media led by Fox News with Roger Ailes and Karl Rove are trying to drive this Republican primary.  We noted that the Fox Flavor of the Week Christie decided not to run in the Republican Primary after all.  

You need look no farther than Karl Rove to know where this trash came from and to know that he is driving Romney and Cain on this issue.  Cain is no different than Obama or his supporters when he uses the Washington Post article to attack a fellow Republican inferring they are racist.  Was advance knowledge of this story given to Cain the reason he said he couldn't support Perry if he was nominated?  I will be willing to bet that that is the case which also confirms that Rove was involved in this like others stories he has have been planting against Perry.   With this one, Rove has reached an all time low and frankly anyone donating to his Crossroads group needs to think twice if this is the way he is going to treat fellow Republicans or has he crossed the line since he has supported Democrats/Independents in the past against Perry.    

Since Cain endorsed Romney in 2008, looks like he is right there again.  What did Romney promise Cain this time to run interference?  To hear Romney on Hannity made you want to throw up considering how his Mormon Church treated blacks over the years and in a lot of cases still does.  

How many blacks did Romney appoint as Governor?  Cannot find the answer in search but did find a lot of links from the Massachusetts Resistance site which details as late as 2002 how pro-gay marriage and pro-choice Romney was when he ran for Governor -- he is a flip flopper just like John Kerry.  Mitt Romney is not conservative even a little except he is running for office and will do and say anything to get elected.  Look at the links on the Mass Resistance site and then come back and tell us that Romney is conservative.

Wallace Jefferson, the first black chief justice of the Texas Supreme Court, said the hunting ranch name controversy is "much ado about nothing" and argued the implication that Rick Perry is insensitive to matters of race is flatly wrong. Jefferson, who was appointed to the post by Perry, and whose great-great-great-grandfather was a slave owned by a Waco district judge, said the reality is quite the opposite: Perry "appreciates the role diversity plays in our state and nation."

Jefferson said he can recall his first conversation with Perry, in 2001, like it was yesterday. They talked about how Jefferson's father and Perry had both been Air Force officers. Jefferson said Perry shared his view that in all circumstances, merit mattered, not race.

"To imply that the governor condoned either the use of that word or that sentiment, I find false," Jefferson said.

At a critical juncture in his race for the GOP presidential nomination, Gov. Rick Perry has been forced to do something no candidate wants: confront incendiary allegations involving race and prejudice. 

While he should be bragging about fundraising totals and reconnecting with primary voters after his less-than-stellar debate performances, the Texas governor is instead defending himself from accusations that his family’s West Texas hunting camp was long known by the racially offensive name “Niggerhead.” The Washington Post reported Sunday that the name was visible on a rock at the camp in the 1980s and 1990s and possibly far more recently. 

Perry has forcefully denied that his family ever used the term and has said that this parents painted over the rock in the early 1980s, shortly after they first leased the land. 

Even some of Perry's fiercest Texas critics say they do not believe he is racist. They point to his record of appointments as evidence: He appointed the state’s first African-American state supreme court justice, Wallace Jefferson, and later made him chief justice. (Jefferson’s great grandfather was a slave, “sold like a horse,” Perry once said with disgust.) Perry’s former general counsel and former chief of staff, Brian Newby, is black; so is Albert Hawkins, the former Health and Human Services commissioner who Perry handpicked to lead the massive agency in 2002. 

“He doesn’t have a racist bone in his body,” said former Democratic state Rep. Ron Wilson, who is black and served with Perry in his early years in the Legislature. “He didn’t then, and he doesn’t now.” 

Added Dallas Democratic Sen. Royce West, who is also black: “I don’t agree with him on policy issues, but you can point to many things he has done that were sensitive to ethnic minorities.” 

Indeed, in his 11-year gubernatorial tenure, Perry has appointed more minorities to statewide posts — including university regents and secretaries of state — than any governor in Texas history. The biggest beating he’s taken on the campaign trail so far? His unwavering support for granting in-state tuition to the children of illegal immigrants in Texas. 

“Texans need to see that no matter where you come from, the color of your skin or the sound of your last name, that if you are willing to work hard and play by the rules you can become anything you want in this state,” Perry said in a 2010 interview with The Dallas Examiner.

And he has at times gotten crosswise with minorities for what has appeared to be his defense of the Confederate flag. Most famously, at his 2007 gubernatorial inaugural ball, Perry dismissed the outcry after rock star Ted Nugent showed up to perform in a shirt emblazoned with the Confederate flag. Later, a Perry spokesman said the governor would never wear the flag himself, but that Nugent was perfectly entitled to do so. 

In Texas, a southern state where geography and race history often collide in uncomfortable ways, Perry will likely be forgiven — even by critics who say his conservative policies disproportionately harm minorities. 

“He appointed a black man chief justice of the state Supreme Court, for crying out loud, one of the many high-profile positions he’s given to minorities during his time as governor,” Jason Stanford, a Democratic opposition researcher and author of an upcoming book on Perry, wrote in a weekend blog post. “… If he were an n-bomb dropping cracker, we’d all know.”

But it should be no surprise to Perry if the unwanted attention lingers nationally. During a 2006 gubernatorial debate, Perry chastised independent candidate Kinky Friedman for using racial epithets in his musical acts and for describing Hurricane Katrina evacuees as “crackheads” and “thugs.” 

“Mr. Friedman, words matter,” Perry said. “If you’re going to be the governor of the greatest state in this nation, you bet you use those types of terms and it’s going to deflect from being able to do the good things that need to occur.”

What is wrong with the so-called conservative sites that didn't bother to vet Romney and where he stood in the past on issues?  Who is actually behind some of the sites that they would ignore the Fox unethical debate in Orlando?  The answers will come out someday and would bet a lot of people are going to be shocked that Fox News under Ailes put profit margins over what is best for the Country.

The establishment, elitists, insider, Rockefeller, country club, moderate, liberal Republicans or whatever name you want to give them are the ones behind the weak dollar Romney and against Perry who believes in the strong dollar.  That group wants Perry defeated to keep the dollar weak and money flowing into their bank accounts.  


Getting more obvious by the day this is about the rich getting richer and the middle class being left behind.  If this group of Republicans want to start class warfare to return to the days of the northeast Rockefeller Republicans running the Republican Party, they are in for a rude awakening.  Not going to happen.


Bottom line is I don't see how Romney or Cain can look themselves in the mirror with their comments this week.  If Perry makes a mistake, he apologizes.  Those other two just keep right on going like nothing ever happened.  I will take the person who admits they made a mistake any day of the week.

Former President Jimmy Carter is lecturing many of us on being 'racist' because we oppose Obamacare. We can guarantee anyone that reads this blog that we were never involved in segregation. Jimmy Carter’s Race Problem

When former president Jimmy Carter accuses the opponents of Barrack Obama’s policy of nationalizing broad aspects of our economy and spending us into bankruptcy of being “racists,” perhaps he should look in the mirror. In his 1982 book, Keeping Faith, Carter disingenuously said he “was not directly involved in the early struggles to end racial discrimination.” No kidding — in fact, he directly and unambiguously supported segregation. When Carter returned to Plains, Georgia, to become a peanut farmer after serving in the Navy, he became a member of the Sumter County School Board, which did not implement the 1954 Brown v. Board of Education decision handed down by the Supreme Court. Instead, the board continued to segregate school children on the streets of Carter’s hometown.

As Laughlin McDonald, director of the ACLU’s Voting Project, relates in his book A Voting Rights Odyssey: Black Enfranchisement in Georgia, Carter’s board tried to stop the construction of a new “Elementary Negro School” in 1956. Local white citizens had complained that the school would be “too close” to a white school. As a result, “the children, both colored and white, would have to travel the same streets and roads in order to reach their respective schools.” The prospect of black and white children commingling on the streets on their way to school was apparently so horrible to Carter that he requested that the state school board stop construction of the black school until a new site could be found. The state board turned down Carter’s request because of “the staggering cost.” Carter and the rest of the Sumter County School Board then reassured parents at a meeting on October 5, 1956, that the board “would do everything in its power to minimize simultaneous traffic between..

Fox's Glenn Beck recently said President Obama is "a racist" and has a "deep-seated hatred for white people." No -- he just threw him under the bus when the heat in the kitchen got too hot during the campaign and all of a sudden he was never there when Rev Wright let lose on whites. You probably already knew Jeanane Garofalo was no fan of conservatives, Republicans or just about anything that could be described as right of center. But the former Air America host and MSNBC regular really has a low regard for conservative activists. In an appearance at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. on Aug. 21, Garofalo ripped into tea party protesters, or what some of the wizards of smart on the left have deemed "tea baggers" calling them "functionally retarded adults" and "racists."

Let's get this straight as it is happening more and more. If we disagree with Obama on any issue it is because we are 'racist' and not because we don't like his agenda? I personally don't care if the President is purple if he treats the Office of Presidency with respect and has an agenda that is best for this Country. Apologizing all over the world for America, and being cozy with dictators while attacking our allies is WRONG!

This crap of calling people racist because they disagree is beyond disgusting and shows that is the only argument they have is to call people names. They defend the President by calling us names not by defending his agenda. I have two words for Democrats that cry racist on people that happen to disagree with Obama's agenda -- GROW UP!

We now have the Governor of NY Patterson saying it is racism that people don't want him to run again. This time it cannot be blamed on Republicans. I can guarantee you that every Republican wants him to run for Governor again. Do we hear the media and the Democrats like Garofalo screaming racist against the Democrats going after Patterson? Crickets chirping once again. I guess by those standards only Republicans can be called 'racist?'

Ms. Garofalo and others who are yelling racist because we don't like Obama's agenda need to remember the words of a great man who understood and whose life was cut short too soon.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

We have elected a black President which was historic but one of the first statements at an early meeting was "I Won." That wasn't the last as his arrogance has taken over. He promised to reach out across the aisle but he didn't. People opposing him in the campaign were called 'racist' and that wasn't true at all. Most of us could care less about the color of a person's skin that runs for any office because we care about the character and the agenda of the person. Former Cong J. C. Watts was elected in a 90% white district in Oklahoma and would still be in Congress if he had wanted to stay. Those same people that elected JC were called racist by some Democrats in the last election that didn't support Obama.

I, along with many Americans, don't vote for people because of the color of their skin, but the character and ideology. When I vote for President or any office, I want to know the background of the person I am voting for but in the case of this President, we were told very little about his 'true' background but instead were encouraged to read two of his "biographies" which look to have been ghost written. Many of the items in the first book have been proved to be false. So what did the media investigate about Obama so we knew his background and character? Very little except what the Obama campaign wanted people to know.

Maybe the liberals are the ones that should go back and read all of Dr. King's speeches. Dr. King had a dream for America and so did President Reagan with his speech about "The Shining City Upon a Hill" -- both men offered hope for everyone. Maybe it is time the current Administration understood we are all Americans and one Freedom that is dear to all of our hearts is the Freedom of Speech guaranteed us by the Constitution. We have a right to disagree on the agenda of our elected officials without being called names.
