"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

The Civilian Expeditionary Force: Obama Says 'Burden' Can’t be All on the Military (Here it Comes)

Is this why Holder dropped charges against the Black Panthers for voter intimidation as Obama plans on using them for his Civilian Expeditionary Force? The Constitution has served the United States well for over 200 years and along comes someone we are not even sure meets the qualifications to be President and he wants to change the very basics of this Country.

The name itself is chilling. Obama needs stopped which means on November 2nd everyone who leans conservative has to vote. We cannot afford to have the House and Senate controlled by Democrats with such large numbers that we have no chance of stopping legislation in the House.

This is from ABC News not a blog from the right.

The Civilian Expeditionary Force: Obama Says 'Burden' Can’t be All on the Military
June 30, 2010 4:49 PM

From Sunlen Miller

During his town hall in Racine, Wisconsin today President Obama spoke about the civilian expeditionary force within his National Security Strategy.

“We just got to be smart about using all the elements of American power, not just one element of American power,” he said.

The president pointed to Iraq and Afghanistan where military personnel are having to engage in work that he said really should be civilian work– like building schools and bridges -- because of under-resourcing on the civilian side

“The problem is -- is that we don't have a civilian effort that has always matched up to the military effort. So the military goes in there, they clear out everything, they're -- they're making everything secure, and now the question is, all right, can we get the civilians to come in to work with the local governments to improve the situation? And a lot of times that civilian side of it has been under-resourced.”

Mr. Obama said the burden should not be all on the military.

“Make sure that we've got a civilian expeditionary force that, when we go out into some village somewhere and the military makes it secure, let's have that agricultural specialist right there, let’s have that person who knows how to train a police force right there, let's -- let's have all those personnel and let's make sure that we are giving them the support that they need in order for us to be successful on our mission.”

The president warned that if the civilian side is shortchanged it could lead to another “very dangerous situation” if the diplomatic work is not done and “the only solution is a military solution that might cost us five times as much.”

Within the administration’s National Security Strategy – released at the end of May – one of the components is a civilian expeditionary force which the White House says is “fundamental” to national security.

“Our diplomatic personnel and missions must be expanded at home and abroad to support the increasingly transnational nature of 21st century security challenges,” the NSS writes, “And we must provide the appropriate authorities and mechanisms to implement and coordinate assistance programs and grow the civilian expeditionary capacity required to assist governments on a diverse array of issues.”

Justice Department to Recharge Civil Rights Enforcement

By CHARLIE SAVAGE
Published: August 31, 2009

WASHINGTON — Seven months after taking office, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. is reshaping the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division by pushing it back into some of the most important areas of American political life, including voting rights, housing, employment, bank lending practices and redistricting after the 2010 census.

As part of this shift, the Obama administration is planning a major revival of high-impact civil rights enforcement against policies, in areas ranging from housing to hiring, where statistics show that minorities fare disproportionately poorly. President George W. Bush’s appointees had discouraged such tactics, preferring to focus on individual cases in which there is evidence of intentional discrimination.

To bolster a unit that has been battered by heavy turnover and a scandal over politically tinged hiring under the Bush administration, the Obama White House has also proposed a hiring spree that would swell the ranks of several hundred civil rights lawyers with more than 50 additional lawyers, a significant increase for a relatively small but powerful division of the government.

The division is “getting back to doing what it has traditionally done,” Mr. Holder said in an interview. “But it’s really only a start. I think the wounds that were inflicted on this division were deep, and it will take some time for them to fully heal.”

Few agencies are more engaged in the nation’s social and cultural debates than the Civil Rights Division, which was founded in 1957 to enforce anti-discrimination laws.
The division has been at the center of a number of controversies over the decades, serving as a proxy for disputes between liberals and conservatives in matters like school busing and affirmative action. When the Nixon administration took office, it sought to delay school desegregation plans reached under former President Lyndon B. Johnson. The Reagan administration dropped the division’s policy of opposing tax-exempt status for racially discriminatory private schools. And former President Bill Clinton withdrew his first nominee to lead the division, Lani Guinier, after her writings about racial quotas were criticized.

NOTE: New Black Panther voter intimidation thugs were allowed to skate, but now they want to give people like that special privileges. Does this mean we are going back to a quota system so industries are required to hire so many minorities whether they are qualified or not. If Martin Luther King were alive today, he wouldn't believe what is happening. This Administration is setting civil rights back years with their favoritism and special privileges instead of expecting all races to work and earn their own way in life. As for voting rights, white precincts don't vote over 100% of their residents. This is an outrage that he wants to grow the DOJ in a time of cut-backs in private industry. Just what the Government doesn't need -- more lawyers.

Is DOJ being politicized by AG Holder and Pres Obama?

UPDATE: When are we going to hear about Holder launching an investigation in Rep Rangel? Charlie Rangel, the Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, the group that writes the tax law, admitted that his financial disclosure forms omitted about half his net worth. Most of that missed net worth comes in the form of one Town House worth about one million dollars. Among other scandals Rangel has faced this year, was his ownership of FOUR rent controlled apartments... http://www.nypost.com/php/pfriendly/print.php?url=http://www.nypost.com/seven/08282009/news/regionalnews/oops__charlie_forgot_this_1m_house_186849.htm

That is a question Americans should be starting to ask. Is this DOJ out of control after only seven (7) months in office? Is their agenda to protect Obama supporters/donors and go after the people they perceive as their enemies aka Republicans?

The latest action by the DOJ higher ups to "kill" the criminal investigation against Gov Richardson and his staff without the knowledge of the US Attorney in NM, gives credence to the Obama DOJ heading toward being one of the most politicized ever. Considering that we had the Clintons for eight years that is saying a lot. However, that should not come as a shock as Holder came out of the Clinton Administration so he learned all about corruptness and how to protect your friends and attack your enemies from the Masters of Deception.

Yesterday, Holder hired a special prosecutor to investigate the CIA interrogators to determine if their interrogations were criminal? These terrorist wanted to kill all of us so I see nothing wrong with any interrogation that will lead to the discovery of their plans to harm us. This Administration and the political DOJ now want to satisfy their far left base by going the CIA agents who have been the leaders in protecting Americans from terrorist attacks. This comes after Obama said this Administration would look forward not back but what difference is a promise when it comes to Obama. Guess that was just something for him to say to get elected. If anyone thinks that Obama is not behind this, I have swampland for sale in Arizona.

Earlier in the month charges of voter intimidation against the New Black Panther members in Philadelphia were dropped against the advise of senior DOJ personnel. Can we expect the New Black Panthers intimidating votes in more areas after this since the DOJ under Holder gave them a walk and blank check to do what they want?

Then we have the DOJ and Holder threatening Oklahoma with withholding funds on their English Only ballot issue. We would have bet in November after the results of the election were announced that the Great State of Oklahoma where every County voted for McCain and only gave Obama 34% would be a prime target by this Administration even though the Democrat Governor is a huge Obama supporter. Sure enough DOJ comes after Oklahoma on the ballot issue for "English Only." Learned yesterday they have backed off for now, but for how long? Bet they don't like the OK ballot issue to require picture ID to vote either.

We are sure there are many more instances we could find to the support asking the question about politicizing the DOJ, but these four over the last month jump out what is happening. Guess we can assume that AG Holder is going to be investigating Cong Rangel (D-NY) next after all the new information that has come out? Since he has a "D" after his name, we expect crickets will continue to chirp as nothing is done.

With the number of Obama appointees with tax and ethics problems, we should not be surprised at anything out of the DOJ. If Republicans had the amount of problems as the Democrat appointees, none of them would ever be confirmed. We are learning rapidly when the Democrats are accusing the Republicans of doing something, it is exactly what the Democrats are doing.

Obama said he would have the most transparent Administration, but it is becoming perfectly clear that is not the case like so many of his campaign promises that have been thrown under the bus. Wonder how many people are on the enemies list of this White House?

We have excerpted the information from the four cases we highlighted to show the politicization of the DOJ in the Obama Administration. We are convinced that AG Holder or his people at DOJ will not take a step without Obama and Soros approval. Read and judge for yourself if this DOJ is being politicized in favor of the liberal Democrats.

Richardson Probe 'Was Killed in Washington'

SANTA FE, N.M. -- New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and former high-ranking members of his administration won't be criminally charged in a yearlong federal investigation into pay-to-play allegations involving one of the Democratic governor's large political donors, someone familiar with the case said.

The decision not to pursue indictments was made by top Justice Department officials, according to a person familiar with the investigation, who asked not to be identified because federal officials had not disclosed results of the probe.
"It's over. There's nothing. It was killed in Washington," the person told The Associated Press.

EXCLUSIVE: No. 3 at Justice OK'd Panther reversal

Associate Attorney General Thomas J. Perrelli, the No. 3 official in the Obama Justice Department, was consulted and ultimately approved a decision in May to reverse course and drop a civil complaint accusing three members of the New Black Panther Party of intimidating voters in Philadelphia during November's election, according to interviews.

The department's career lawyers in the Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division who pursued the complaint for five months had recommended that Justice seek sanctions against the party and three of its members after the government had already won a default judgment in federal court against the men.
Front-line lawyers were in the final stages of completing that work when they were unexpectedly told by their superiors in late April to seek a delay after a meeting between political appointees and career supervisors, according to federal records and interviews.

Obama White House v. CIA; Panetta Threatened to Quit

Update - 8/26/09 - Red State is Reporting that Panetta will be resigning as CIA Director from reliable sources.

Late Breaking News! ATTORNEY GENERAL ERIC HOLDER WILL APPOINT PROSECUTOR TO INVESTIGATE ALLEGED CIA ABUSES

Tensions Lead to CIA Director's "Screaming Match" at the White House

By MATTHEW COLE, RICHARD ESPOSITO and BRIAN ROSS
August 24, 2009

A "profanity-laced screaming match" at the White House involving CIA Director Leon Panetta, and the expected release today of another damning internal investigation, has administration officials worrying about the direction of its newly-appoint intelligence team, current and former senior intelligence officials tell ABC News.com.

"You can expect a larger than normal turnover in the next year," a senior adviser to Obama on intelligence matters told ABCNews.com.

Since 9/11, the CIA has had five directors or acting directors.

A White House spokesperson, Denis McDonough, said reports that Panetta had threatened to quit and that the White House was seeking a replacement were "inaccurate."

According to intelligence officials, Panetta erupted in a tirade last month during a meeting with a senior White House staff member. Panetta was reportedly upset over plans by Attorney General Eric Holder to open a criminal investigation of allegations that CIA officers broke the law in carrying out certain interrogation techniques that President Obama has termed "torture."

NOTE: This is what you get when you elect someone who has Zero experience. From the time Obama won the Senate seat he was running for President and not learning about about how our Government works. His Constitutional Law classes were more about sports then the Law.

Thank you Director Panetta for standing up to Attorney General Holder.

Holder had charges dropped of voter intimidation and threats by the New Black Panther party but now wants to go after our CIA officers? They go after CIA agents doing their job and let the thugs go free. This Administration is spirraling out of control.

Is this one of those "Follow the Money?" Who is behind Holder going after the CIA agents and dropping charges against the New Black Panthers?
