The White House's Top 20 Raises from KFSO.com:

We had heard earlier that Obama had given the White House personnel an 8% pay raise when the rest of the Government Civil Service has received no raises for two years along with Social Security.  This shows the raises.

There are a few problems with this report that appeared on Huffington Post with salaries.  They 21 officials in the Obama administration earn the maximum salary of $172,000 a year but that is not the administration as the Cabinet doesn't look to be listed.  This is White House staff only -- no Cabinet secretaries, no CZARS who make the maximum with an office budget of $1M per Czar.  Four CZARS of the 35 to 42 were cut in the budget deal in April because three duplicated efforts of Cabinet Secretaries and one was the Car CZAR.  That still leaves 31 to 38 CZARS getting paid with our Tax Dollars.  Hard to find a list of CZARs but there are any where from 35 to 42 with seven more planned.  In January The Hill reported Republicans introduce bill to eliminate presidential ‘czars’ which looks to have died in the Senate like so many other bills.  Guess you could tab the Senate as the place where good bills go to die!

How much do White House staffers make? Twenty-one officials in the Obama administration earn the maximum salary, $172,000 a year, according to the White House's annual report to Congress, released Friday afternoon (30 June 2011) 

The lowest salary is $41,000, and three White House advisers work for free: Patricia McGinnis, Jessica Schumer and Shale Wong.

What is the full White House budget including transportation for the last two years?  You cannot find it because the Democrat House/Senate in 2009-2010 never did have a budget.  There is still not a budget for FY 2012 that starts 1 October 2011 so it is impossible to find what the White House or any other agency is actually spending.  Yet some people wonder why the spending by Obama and the Democrats are out of control.  Was a non-budget done on purpose so the Democrats could spend at will with no accountability?  That seems to be the case.

We need a full outside audit of the Government -- bet taxpayers would be appalled at what they find.  Time to stop runaway spending the the White House should be front and center.  Roll back those 8% raises as #1.

Will someone please explain how the Senate can go on a month long recess with no budget being passed and Obama can fly off to Chicago for his big fundraiser and then vacation with no budget for FY 12 in place?  House has done their job, but not the Senate or Obama.  Where is the outcry from the mainstream media or do they want a month-long vacation as well?  This is no way to run Government!

Obama appointee ignored illicit sex: Why is Kevin Jennings still on the president's payroll?

The Washington Times nails Kevin Jennings with its Editorial and question asking why Jennings is still on the president's payroll. Very good question because Jennings should never have been hired with his background and his attitude on gay issues in the schools. Why does this Administration keep appointing radicals to various positions using taxpayer dollars when there is no Senate confirmation or accountability? How long is Jennings going to remain in his position?

We are waiting for more members of the media to ask the tough questions the Washington Times is asking. Crickets chirping once again. Have to cover Letterman's affairs with staffers -- more important.

Five years ago, Kevin Jennings - who now is President Obama's "safe schools czar" - threatened to sue another teacher who called him "unethical" in a Washington Times news article for ignoring a legal requirement to report a student's homosexual relations with an "older man." Mr. Jennings' lawyer wrote a letter stating that there was "no factual basis whatsoever for [the] claim" and that he was not "aware of any sexual victimization of any student, or that he declined to report any sexual victimization at any time."

But if you are trying to cover something up, you should not be so foolish as to go on and blabber about it in speeches or in books. Mr. Jennings' defense collapsed last week after Fox News discovered an audio tape from 2000 of Mr. Jennings recalling his discussions with "15-year-old" Brewster "to use a condom." The tape provided more details on the student's age, indicating that a statutory rape had occurred. Mr. Jennings' lawyer's letter stated that Brewster was 16-years-old.
On Wednesday afternoon, Mr. Jennings released a written statement conceding, "I can see how I should have handled this situation differently." . . .

The White House shouldn't expect the furor over Special Advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality Van Jones to go away just because he's resigned, says a former Obama Administration transition team member, because "the same problems that they created with Jones's hiring are there for others and they don't seem to care about the political damage these people may inflict."

According to several White House sources, Jones was hired for his "green jobs czar" positions over concerns raised by the White House Counsel's Office, after Jones's background materials came back with several of what were termed "inconsistencies" in the Standard Form 86 Questionnaire for National Security Positions.

When confronted with the 2004 9/11 truther petition by the White House communications staff, Jones, according to sources, initially blamed his staff at the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights. The petition was spun by the White House as Jones simply not having read the material closely. Within an hour of the White House statement with Jones's apology, another document came to light indicating that Jones had helped organize a 2002 truther protest march in San Francisco. Jones, according to White House sources, denied any involvement. "It's clear we [the White House] don't know enough about him," said a White House source in the Counsel's office, who spoke on Saturday morning before Jones resigned, and did so anonymously in the hopes that information about concerns raised by the counsel's office about Jones might push him out of the Administration.

The source inside the White House Counsel's office says that their office had recently begun to look into whether Jones had recently had contact with this friends and former co-workers at Color for Change, the leftist group Jones helped to found, and which launched the advertiser boycott against Fox News host Glenn Beck. Color for Change ramped up its protest of Beck after he began attacking the Obama Administration's "Czar" programs, including Jones. The White House legal office was also looking into the timing of a website that was launched late Friday, VanJones.net; earlier in the week the site had been "Under Construction."

WASHINGTON – Barack Obama's "Green Jobs Czar" Van Jones quit late last night after pressure mounted over his extremist history first exposed in WND.

The last straw for Jones was being caught on tape in an expletive-packed rant, directly attacking Republicans in the Senate who he said abused their majority position in the past to push legislation through. He admitted after the statements were released that the comments were "inappropriate" and "offensive."

"They do not reflect the experience I have had since joining the administration," Jones said in the statement.

Jones was also linked late last week to efforts suggesting a government role in the Sept. 11 terror attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.

When the White House press corps grilled White House press secretary Robert Gibbs about Jones on Friday, a reporter asked how the administration could reject "conspiracy theories" about his birth certificate while employing someone who previously charged the U.S. government with masterminding Sept. 11.

Gibbs said only that Jones "continues to work in the administration," a non-ringing endorsement that set the stage for his ouster.

Jones' name appeared on a petition calling for congressional hearings and other investigations into whether high-level government officials had orchestrated the attacks.

Jones flatly said in his statement that he did not agree with the petition's stand and that "it certainly does not reflect my views, now or ever."

As for his other comments he made before joining Obama's team, Jones said: "If I have offended anyone with statements I made in the past, I apologize."

In April, Aaron Klein, Jerusalem bureau chief for WND.com, broke the first major story on Jones who was identified as a self-described radical communist and "rowdy black nationalist" who said his environmental activism was actually a means to fight for racial and class "justice."
Succeeding revelations by WND included:

Jones previously served on the board of an environmental activist group at which a founder of the Weather Underground terrorist organization is a top director.

Jones was co-founder of a black activist organization that has led a campaign prompting major advertisers to withdraw from Glenn Beck's top-rated Fox News Channel program. The revelation followed Beck's reports on WND's story about Jones' communist background.
That Jones and other White House appointees may have been screened by an ACORN associate.
One day after the 9/11 attacks, Jones led a vigil that expressed solidarity with Arab and Muslim Americans as well as what he called the victims of "U.S. imperialism" around the world.
Just days before his White House appointment, Jones used a forum at a major youth convention to push for a radical agenda that included spreading the wealth and "changing the whole system."

Jones' Maoist manifesto while leading the group Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, or STORM, was scrubbed from the Internet after being revealed by WND.
Jones was the main speaker at an anti-war rally that urged "resistance" against the U.S. government – a demonstration sponsored by an organization associated with the Revolutionary Communist Party.

In a 2005 conference, Jones characterized the U.S. as an "apartheid regime" that civil rights workers helped turn into a "struggling, fledgling democracy."
Jones signed a petition calling for nationwide "resistance" against police, accusing them of using the 9/11 attacks to carry out policies of torture.

While talk radio and cable television picked up WND's reporting and increased the pressure on the administration to cut Jones loose, there was no significant news media coverage of the scandal by the major U.S. news media until late last week.

COMMENT: The last statement which is bolded says it all about this media. Most of the major media failed to cover the background of Jones or asked how he was vetted. Now we find that ACORN, the voter fraud organization, was involved. When are the members of the media going to start reporting facts instead of carrying Obama's water? Some of the American people are starting to wake up to the face they elected someone who is far left that wants to act like a dictator. Appointing all these CZARS that did not have to go through Senate confirmation should be outlawed for any Administration. Who is really running the Government?

COMMENT: What kind of a person would even think something like this? Maybe it is time the Congress and the media took a good look at the backgrounds of people serving as CZARS and why over 40 now. What is their purpose? These statements are without any factual basis and frankly disgusting. This blame "American whites" first policy out of this Administration is going to backfire. Is there anyone out there who needs any more proof that the usurper that sits illegally in the President’s chair in the Oval Office of the White House is, bit by bit, piece by piece, and day by day, in the process of totally destroying the democratic republic that once was the United States?

With 80 percent of the communications network of this country shut down, for all intents and purposes, regarding reports on anything that is not popular with that usurper, you might say that they are in his back pocket. And for him, the usurper that is, if and when he reaches his goal of making America a pawn of the corrupt and dangerous United Nations he won’t have to declare the names of the totalitarian state run news and broadcast services as they will already be in place.

ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSNBC are all completely in the bag for the socialist/communist, liberal Democrats, as directed by their Commissar of Finance, George Soros. B. Hussein Obama will be the Grand Ruler of all World territories, but only in a figurehead role just as he is today here in the United States, where he is assigned to bring the country to its knees and place it in subservience to the United Nations.

The latest example of this rule of fear and suppression was announced on August 24, 2009 by the National Right To Work Legal Defense Foundation, Inc. that Ron Bloom, former United Steelworkers Union executive, who was appointed by Obama as his “car czar” some months ago, will soon be named to oversee ALL of America’s manufacturing

Why not do some investigative journalism and find out who is behind Obama besides George Soros? Who pulls the strings? When are Democrat members of Congress going to question the use of CZARS to run the Government?

Ronald Radosh explores the case of Van Jones. Jones is Obama's green jobs "czar" (his formal title is Special Advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality). As green jobs "czar," Jones's responsibility is to coordinate the stimulus spending to assure that a hefty portion of it goes to projects that promote green energy.

In his relatively recent past Jones was a Marxist revolutionary. From 1992 until 2002, Jones was a member of a radical communist group that was dedicated to "organizing a revolutionary movement in America." Does Jones remain a Marxist revolutionary today?

The White House has declined to provide a straight answer to the question. We will accordingly assume that, in Jones's case, "commissar" would be more like it.

UPDATE: A commenter points out that Jones is not a "czar," but rather an "adviser." The Wall Street Journal distinguished between the job titles here in the case of Jones. Does the title of Obama administration "czar" have formal legal contours? The Chicago Tribune asks: how many czars are there? In any event, I think commissar is the more appropriate honorific, and Victor Davis Hanson makes the case that the Marxist spirit pervades the White House.

NOTE: The Obama administration appoints a special prosecutor on the CIA, but has all these Czars who are not subject to Senate confirmation skate. WHERE is the Administration getting money to pay these CZARS or whatever they call people not subject to Senate confirmation? They each earn $182,000 a year with a staff of 10 and there are well over 30 of them. Yet, he only has not come close to filling all the political appointees subject to Senate Confirmation. WHY?

NOTE: Czars are paid $182,000 a year of your tax dollars with each of them having a staff of 10. Where does this appear in the budget and why no outcry they are running the Country and never had to have Senate confirmation? Never mind, the leaders of the Dems in Congress continue to bow down to their elected leader no matter what he does since they have the same socialist agenda that he does. Are Democrat voters going to continue to vote Democrat for a candidate just because there is a D behind their name when they refuse to listen to their Constituents. I don't believe that will be the case. Even Democrat counties here in Oklahoma went for Senator McCain. Because Obama had a D behind his name made them no difference. I believe Democrats who are also being dissed around the Country are starting to wake up that their leadership is extremely liberal and they are not! Show the liberal progressive Dems that they are wrong and vote for the candidate that will support you in Congress and throw out Pelosi/Reid.

In case they haven't noticed, there is a reason Democratic Party Czars are being appointed by the President to oversee many programs that used to fall under Congress control", a top Democrat said today.

"The czars have no one to report to besides the President, they don't have to face constituents, they have complete control of the areas they are specializing in and have the ability to do what they want regardless the demands of Americans whose biggest decision should be Fixodent or Polygrip."

"We know this is an exercise in futility for them, that regardless what they want or how much they protest at these town hall meetings, we're going to give them an insurance program that will cost a lot of money we don't have, but at this point it's irrelevant. Giving them opportunity to vent gives Washington a reference point for sentiment but that's the point. Let them think they're going to made a difference when in fact nothing could be further from the truth. We realize we're going to be dead and gone when the bill comes due so it's our "feel good" moment in history."
