Brown Pledges Special College Admission for Illegals; ‘One of First Bills I’ll Sign’

If the voters of California elect Jerry Brown aka Governor Moonbeam to be their Governor again, then that state deserves everything they get. The illegals from the rest of the Country can flock to CA and the rest of us in Red State America will be most happy to take their companies and their jobs!

Guess Brown can best be summed up -- once a nutcase always a nutcase with ideas! Wonder if he will try to outlaw gasoline powered engines or put such controls on them he will make the EPA look sane?

California has a choice of two diverse roads for Governor -- one will elect Meg Whitman who will bring a successful business background to the Governor's office and the other one will bring an environmentalist Jerry Brown with zero common sense who panders to illegals to the Governor's office.

Doesn't take a genius to figure out who is going to be good for the economy of California (Whitman) and who is going to be good for the people who want handouts (Brown)

Clear choice for prosperity is Meg Whitman to become California's next Governor and start the road to recovery.

Financial Reform Bill Will Kill Jobs and Raise Taxes

Some days it makes you wonder about the three New England Republicans and what makes them take the positions they do on some bills. We just don't understand this vote at all because Congressman Pence is correct. We hate to believe that constituents in their states were pushing this bill because if they were, they are out of touch with the rest of America. We also don't understand how they keep voting with Democrats to kill debate. In this instance, Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) who is in a tight race voted against this bill and against cloture which we don't find too shocking as he done this before on similar bills. He understands the outcome more than the three Republicans -- Senator Scott Brown (R-MA), Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) and Senator Olympia Snowe (R-ME).

This was not a good day for them to pass this as we wonder how much this bill is going to cost the consumer like their other bills they have passed since Obama took office. Every time Congress passes a bill to protect the consumer it costs us more money. Do they think that banks will not pass on the charges to the consumer? How dumb can members of Congress be?

Today a notice from Target was received detailing the new rules about credit cards that the Federal Government decided to stick their noses into. Late payment fee has risen from $25 to $35, returned payment fee is now $25, and minimum payment due has gone from $10 to $25. Also the Prime Rate they use to charge interest is now on one specific day a month not the day of billing. If someone is struggling to keep up with credit card payments, how is raising everything going to help. This is a very small account but what if it had a large balance and your minimum payment was more than doubled? Bet you see people going belly-up on their credit cards thanks again to the Democrat controlled Congress and Obama.

Congressman Pence is so right and why it is so disgusting to see three Republicans vote for this bill when we are supposed to be the party of limited government.

Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown took a swipe at Vice President Joe Biden today -- saying that President Obama's No. 2 was “off base” when he said the Republican get his facts straight when it comes to military tribunals and whether he is aware that terrorists have the right to a lawyer.

“It was insulting,” Brown, a critic of Obama during his recent Senate campaign, told Politico.com.

The comments came a day after Biden blasted Brown during an appearance on CBS's “Face the Nation" when he said he didn't “know whether the new senator from Massachusetts understands: When you get tried in a military tribunal, you get a lawyer, too.”

“He’s trying to give me a lesson on military law, and I didn’t think it was appropriate,” said Brown. “And I thought he was off base when it comes to explaining to the American people that somehow I need a lesson on whether people get attorneys -- of course they get attorneys. There’s a difference as to what type of attorney they’re going to get and when they’re going to get that attorney, and how are they treated, and what rights do they in fact get.”

The newly elected lawmaker, who served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard for 30 years, added, “I know the military rules and regulations and procedures from A to Z."

Biden's comments are part of the Obama administration's push to defend its controversial, and unpopular, plan to try 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four cohorts in Manhattan federal court -- just a few blocks from Ground Zero -- instead of a miliary tribunal.

Giuliani leads feisty Brown rally in North End

A feisty crowd of several hundred shouted "Rudy, Rudy" and "Go, Scott, Go" this morning in the North End as former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani campaigned for surging Republican Scott Brown in his bid for US Senate.

Another chant from the throng declared, "The liberals are going! The liberals are going!" and a sign read, "It's our turn for a change." Giuliani fired up the crowd by recalling his stump work on the victorious Republican campaigns of former governors William Weld, Paul Cellucci, and Mitt Romney.

Giuliani and Brown assailed Democrat Martha Coakley for suggesting that terrorists are gone from Afghanistan, for opposing President Obama’s planned troop increase there, and for approving trials for accused terrorists on American soil. They criticized her support of the national health care overhaul.

"Frankly his opponent’s ignorance about the issues facing us is astounding!” Giuliani said, adding, "There’s a reason for all this negativity. They have nothing to run on, they have nothing to run with. So they’re running against him."

Brown added: "Business as usual is not the way we like to do business."

NOTE: We find it amusing that the DNC chose to attack Rudy about his comments on Imus this week but in typical fashion they left out most of what he had to say as they cherry picked. We wondered why the DNC was after Rudy and now we know. He was going into MA to campaign for Scott Brown. Even the Boston Globe pointed out the fact the Democrats didn't tell the whole story on Rudy's comments.

It is beginning to look more and more that Democrat comments at all levels cannot be trusted because when you look into what they said in order to verify, you discover they have been misleading. Guess this shouldn't be a surprise after eight years of the professional spinner and liar Bill Clinton. This is the same Democrat party that had some of their Congressional candidates in 2006 and 2008 pretend to be conservative, get elected, and then immediately vote for one of the most liberal people in the House, Nancy Pelosi. Those so-called "Blue Dogs" except for a few are very liberal like the Sanchez sisters -- there is nothing moderate about them or some of the others. Their tactics worked in 2006 and 2008, BUT they will not work in 2010.

With so many websites following this race, originally we had decided not to post about the race but the idea that the Democrat Coakley is using Washington lobbyists to raise money made us decide to look into this a little further to see just who were the lobbyists that were involved.

With Democrat Martha Coakley in trouble in the Massachusetts special election to fill Ted Kennedy's seat, Democrats could lose vote No. 60 for President Obama's health-care bill. In response, an army of lobbyists for drug companies, health insurance companies, and hospitals has teamed up to throw a high-dollar Capitol Hill fundraiser for Coakley next Tuesday night. The invitation is here.

Of the 22 names on the host committee--meaning they raised $10,000 or more for Coakley--17 are federally registered lobbyists, 15 of whom have health-care clients. Of the other five hosts, one is married to a lobbyist, one was a lobbyist in Pennsylvania, another is a lawyer at a lobbying firm, and another is a corporate CEO. Oh, and of course, there's also the political action commitee for Boston Scientific Corporation.

All the leading drug companies have lobbyists on Coakley's host committee: Pfizer, Merck, Amgen, Sanofi-Aventis, Eli Lilly, Novartis, Astra-Zeneca, and more. On the insurance side of things, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, HealthSouth, and United Health all are represented on the host committee.

Looks to us like Coakley and the Democrats are bought and paid for by the drug company and HMO lobbyists in order to get them to vote for Obamacare. If the Drug and HMO Lobby is pushing Obamacare so hard, what is in it for them? Are they going to be able to keep high prices on drugs that you can buy in Canada for much less? Are the HMO's going to make more money with Obamacare? Lobbyists do nothing unless there is money involved. When is the last time anyone saw a lobbyists do what is best for Americans not their bottom line?

We also found this gem on You Tube (below) about the Coakley Fundraiser with Lobbyists. Can you imagine what would happen if a Republican would have done this. All the major media outlets would be asking them to drop out of the race. Double standard once again is alive and well as another Democrat, this time the MA Attorney General Coakley looks to be bought and paid for by campaign contributions.

Masschusetts voters can send the democrats and lobbyists a real message by voting for Brown and showing the Democrats they are fed up with the inside the beltway lobbyists making a MA Senator beholding to them for contributions instead of representing the people of MA. If elected, Coakley will be one more Senator with a For Sale sign for all lobbyists to see.

This You Tube smacks of arrogance by a lobbyist saying that DC wouldn't work without them. We know one thing -- we should sure like to see how DC runs WITHOUT lobbyists. We think it would run much better and graft would be much less.

While trying to ask Martha Coakley (D-Mass.) about her statement that there are no terrorists in Afghanistan, Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack is knocked to the ground by a campaign staffer.

After reading the above and seeing the You Tube video of a Coakley staffer pushing a reporter to the groud for asking a question, we wondered who that staffer was and today it all came out.
