"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

OK Senator has 'sure-win list' -- Predicts Party Takes Control of Senate

Senator Inhofe is lightening rod in the Senate for Democrat hated by the likes of Boxer, Murray, and other clueless Democrats because he stands up for what he believes but he is also a thorn in their side. Former Senator Hillary Clinton and Barbara Boxer along with Patty Murray of Washington may detest him the most. When he talks to audiences he always has something to relate about those three especially when Hillary was in the Senate. If he got in the elevator, they got off. It is hilarious to hear him speak about how much they hate him and show that fact. Along with those Senators, the environmentalist wackos hate him in DC especially since he has been proven correct.

They may not like Jim Inhofe in DC but the grassroots here in Oklahoma love him. He tells it like it is. He has fought the environmental warming crowd for years and now he has been proven right in his assessment of their 'junk science.' We expect him to be right with his list of Senators who are going to win on November 2nd. We agree about the Senate seat held by Byrd 100% and are absolutely shocked it is even in play but then we never expected Scott to win the seat in MA after Kennedy died.

If I could have two people on my side in an election, I would want my two Senators Coburn and Inhofe -- you cannot go wrong having them support you. Guess Inhofe's problems with Murkowski have come out with her stance on Cap and Trade plus a few other things with his video for Joe Miller in AK. Don't think he will be sad to see her go. If you are around Jim Inhofe, you better have a sense of humor. What's he going to do for fun if Murray, Boxer, and Murkowski go down to defeat?

Have often heard it said that Jim Inhofe has the most integrity and honesty in the US Senate which speaks a lot about the character of the man. Raese has the best person he can get campaigning for him.

GOP senator has 'sure-win list,' predicts party takes control of SenateBy Shane D'Aprile - 10/29/10 02:32 PM ET

GILBERT, W.Va. — Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) said Friday he's confident Republicans will take back the majority in the Senate and expects West Virginia's contest between Republican John Raese and Gov. Joe Manchin (D) to be the majority-maker for the GOP.

"If someone had told me 20 years ago or even six months ago that Republicans would ever take the seat vacated by Sen. Byrd, I would've called them crazy," Inhofe told The Ballot Box on Friday while campaigning with Raese on a swing through southern West Virginia. "But this race looks like a sure thing to me right now."

Inhofe then pulled out a sheet of paper on which he has jotted down his own Senate math.

"Here's my sure-win list," Inhofe said. "We've got Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Washington, Wisconsin and North Dakota. West Virginia is the newest one on here, and that brings us to 10."

In reality, several of those races, including the Manchin-Raese contest in West Virginia, are far from sure wins for the GOP on Tuesday, but Inhofe said the national environment continues to trend toward the GOP. He predicted things could get even worse for Democrats before Election Day.

The senator said he doesn't think Republicans need to win in either Connecticut or California on Tuesday, "but that doesn't mean we won't, which would give us room to spare."

After November, Inhofe anticipates a relatively uneventful lame-duck session, with Democrats largely unable to push much of anything through. He also doesn't think President Obama will move to the center if his party suffers big midterm losses.

"I kind of look at him and look at Clinton in 1994," Inhofe said. "While Clinton is arrogant, he can't approach the level of arrogance of Barack Obama. Obama looks in the mirror every morning and says, 'I can convince anyone of anything.' So while Clinton came back and started working with Republicans, I just don't see Obama doing that."

As for who would lead the GOP in the Senate if the party takes back the majority, Inhofe said talk of anyone other than Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) as majority leader is just talk.

"He has the votes to spare, and I don't think anyone would challenge him," Inhofe said. "I know some people say Jim DeMint, but it won't happen."

Inhofe, who is often a conservative lightning rod in Washington, has hit the trail for a handful of GOP Senate contenders ahead of Election Day. He also recorded a video for Alaska's Republican Senate nominee, Joe Miller, which was played at Thursday's rally headlined by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R).

"The campaign trail's been great," said Inhofe. "In Washington there's so many people who hate me, it's kind of fun to go where people like you."

A Raw Deal -- Charlie Crist Tries to get Black Cong Kendrick Meeks to Drop Out of Race

Been around politics and have seen some shady candidates but Charlie Crist may take the cake. Crist goes on the air saying that Kendrick Meeks was going to drop out of the race but changed his mind when supposedly that didn't happen at all. With all the flip flops and story changes which are detailed below, the bottom line seems to be that Crist talked to someone in the White House and may have talked to Clinton about getting Meeks out of the race and endorsing him (Crist). Meeks on the other hand said he is staying in the race and not dropping out.

Who is trustworthy in all of this? Marco Rubio who is the target of both the White House through its surrogates including Clinton and Charlie NO PARTY Crist. Florida voters need to send the DC Democrats and Crist a message that their Senate seat is not for sale.

Why do blacks stay in the Democrat Party is what I would like to know. Can you imagine the uproar if a Republican had tried to do this? It will be on all news stations 24/7. Why is Crist not being called by the media for the scumbag he is or are they finally catching on you cannot believe a word he says.

If former Florida GOP Chair Greer who is under indictment is smart, he will turn on Charlie and tell the truth how Crist used him and aides for his charges so he didn't have to get a card. They have the details of Mrs. Crist trip to Europe that Florida GOP paid the airfare at Charlie's request. How much more money do FL GOP put out to make sure that Crist was pampered.

This also shows that the White House and Clinton were involved in trying to get Sestack out of the race for Arlen Spector in PA. How many other races has that happened?  We expect Harry Reid was also involved in both instances as well.
When we first said that Charlie Crist will do or say anything to get elected, we were not kidding. He has proven us to be right. What a low life to try and pull this to win a Senate seat and caucus with the Democrats after taking contributions from Republicans which he refused to give back. Crist needs run out of politics for good!

Email from Rubio Campaign:

It's a Raw Deal
We all know Charlie Crist will say or do anything to get elected. But this time he’s sunk to a new low.

In case you haven’t seen the late breaking news, Charlie Crist tried to cut a last second, backroom deal with former President Bill Clinton, in an utterly shameless attempt to pander for Democrat votes.

News reports of exactly what Crist claims happened are as inconsistent and contradictory as Crist himself. What we do know is that Charlie Crist was trying to engineer a secret deal with President Clinton, admits he was talking to the White House about it (even though he won’t say who), and CNN is reporting that as part of the deal, Crist agreed to caucus with the Democrat leadership in the Senate.

It’s all just shameless.

Secret deals, special favors, and political kickbacks. That’s the problem with Washington today, not the answer. Government shouldn’t be picking winners and losers. And typical politicians shouldn’t be cutting backroom deals to hold power at all costs.
Most of us suspected at the last debate when Crist took Meeks aside that he was discussing Meeks dropping out of the race and endorsing him.  Looks like that was the case.  What made Crist so arrogant that he thought that Meeks should drop out and support him -- why didn't he drop out and support Meeks?  Never mind, Charlie doesn't do anything for anyone except himself.  Meek has been on the air this morning blasting Crist.  If there are any Republicans still supporting Charlie, they had better think twice at the person they are thinking of voting for in the Senate race.  Then you have Meeks who supposedly thought about dropping out.

Kendrick Meek reaffirms he's in Senate race to stay, blasts Charlie Crist

Kendrick Meek blames dropout rumors on Gov. Crist

Kendrick Meek wants to be clear: He's staying in the U.S. Senate race, and former President Bill Clinton didn't ask him to leave the race.

Miami Herald
BY BETH REINHARD AND MICHAEL VAN SICKLER
Oct 29, 2010

Making the rounds on several national television network news shows on Friday morning, Democrat Kendrick Meek lashed out at independent Charlie Crist for fueling what he called false rumors that former President Bill Clinton had asked him to drop out of the Senate race.

``[Clinton] didn't ask me to drop out of the race,'' Meek told Fox & Friends. He said that longtime political mentor had asked him last week about ``rumors'' that he might possibly withdraw from the race.

Meek said he told Clinton that he was not going to bow out of the race. ```That's your decision,''' Meek recalled Clinton telling him during a conversation backstage at a rally in Florida.

He then slammed Crist for playing a political trick to damage his bid for the Senate.

``I don't operate like this, and the bottom line is, is that Charlie Crist does,'' Meek said. ``It's mind boggling.''

Meek said that Crist himself had called him during the campaign to urge him to leave the race.

``I told him I'm not getting out of the race,'' he said. ``I don't sellout on the people of Florida.''

Now we have Bill Clinton involved in all of this.  Some things never change about Clinton -- he was untrustworthy as President and his word was worth nothing -- looks like that has not changed either.  Then throw in the Obama White House and Crist and you have a whole group of unethical politicians.  The Sestack story with Specter now makes sense.  Pennsylvania voters better think twice about voting for Sestack as well.

Now we know for sure that Charlie Crist's votes and who he would caucus with were for sale.  He needs to lose the No Party label and become a Democrat to join the unethical Clinton and Obama.
Kendrick Meek Talked With Bill Clinton About Quitting Senate Race
October 28, 2010
Christopher Weber

Rep. Kendrick Meek confirmed Friday that he and Bill Clinton discussed speculation that the Democrat might drop out of the three-way contest for Senate in Florida. But Meek denied reports from Politico and others that the former president pressured him to quit in order to help Republican-turned-independent Gov. Charlie Crist beat GOP nominee Marco Rubio.

"We had a conversation in Orlando. The president and I talked about it," Meek said on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe" Friday. "I told him I'm not going to do it and that's just the bottom line."

Crist revealed in televised interviews that he was aware of the conversation between Meek and Clinton -- and that he also discussed possible withdrawal with Meek and spoke with the White House about it.

Clinton told CNN he and Meek spoke twice about rumors that he might drop out, but the former president said he didn't discuss it with the White House. He also refused to say what advice he gave Meek, a longtime friend for whom he campaigned in Florida.

....

The White House knew about the plan but did not initiate the talks.

"Not being seen as a quitter was more important than stopping someone who was so opposed to what you and your party had stood for," said one Democrat about Meek's decision to stay in.

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele issued a written statement Thursday that said in part: "President Clinton's actions to have Kendrick Meek withdraw from the campaign sends a chilling signal to all voters, but especially African Americans. One can only imagine the response if Republican leadership tried to force out of the race – in the 11th hour – a qualified black candidate like Kendrick Meek."

The Rubio camp also reacted to the Politico report in a statement Thursday.

"Secret deals to trade away principles for power is already the problem in Washington, it's not the solution," Senior Strategist Todd Harris wrote. "This is simply politics as usual which is exactly what voters across the country are emphatically rejecting this election."

Even Liberal Chris Matthews Calls Sink a Liar

More fallout from the Alex Sink cheating and lying scandal from the debate on Tuesday night. Now the whole Country knows that Chris Matthews was not happy to find out Democrat candidate for Florida Governor Alex Sink lied to him on the air Tuesday night. Now he has called her on it with this graphic and his words on the air Wednesday night. If Sink will lie to Chris Matthews on nationwide TV, what will she do to the Florida voters?

For her to use her daughter who is in college in England to cover for own cheating and lying is disgusting. Sink has zero integrity right now because she not only cheated but she tried to cover-up what happened by lying.

Hardball Graphic, Oct 27, 2010
Even Liberal Chris Matthews Calls Sink A Liar
October 28, 2010

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The lies continue and now liberal Chris “Thrill Up My Leg” Matthews and his lefty chat show Hardball are piling on. Matthews took exception to the lie failed CFO and debate cheat Alex Sink told him on Tuesday and ran a segment last night calling her out using the lower third graphic “Texts, Lies And Videotape?”

The flap over the cover up began when Sink was called to the carpet for lying by CNN debate moderator John King. Matthews had Sink on his Hardball program to explain what happened when she famously read the coaching text her staff sent her during a commercial break in the CNN debate.

Here is what Sink told Matthews Tuesday night:

SINK: “Well, uh, what happened was, Chris, last night that the makeup artist held up her phone and said I just got this message, I don't know who it's from. I looked at it because, you know, I’m a mom, my instinct is my daughter's in Europe. I don't know who this message is from. I glanced at it. I didn't understand even what it was, and I just ignored it."

After seeing other coverage questioning her explanation, Matthews took exception to her “truthiness” and took her to task in a segment on Wednesday night’s Hardball.

MATTHEWS: “We’ve got the facts on Florida’s Democratic candidate – finally. I didn’t get them last night from the Democratic candidate Alex Sink but we got them, thanks to one of our colleague networks out there. We’re going to show you what we have, now that we’ve boosted the sound of what was really said during that debate. The video very clearly shows something different than what that candidate told me last night.”
To see Chris Matthews call Sink out on her shameless lying:

Federal Probe has Expanded in West Virginia into the Manchin Administration

Let's get this straight -- Raese owns a second home in Florida which the DSCC released in an ad. That sure opened up a can of worms because Manchin owns a 54-foot yacht which is docks in, you guessed it, Florida. The ad about Raese's second home in Florida makes no sense until you realize the Federal Probe into the Manchin Administration has been expanded. Now the DSCC is trying to change the subject but having a second home is nothing new. A lot of us who detest winter wouldn't mind owning a second home in South Florida where it is warm most of the winter.

Looks like Manchin has been using state planes for personal business for sometime. Does Manchin use a state plane to fly down to his yacht in Florida taking along 'friends' of his or the Democrat Party? How much Democrat fundraising has taken part on the Manchin 54 foot yacht? Might be an interesting question to ask.

Manchin, a private pilot, took heat in the past for upgrading the gubernatorial air fleet and for taking personal trips in government planes, like a 2005 jaunt to go pick up his yacht in Mobile, Ala.
Why would the small state of West Virginia need a fleet of planes? How long does it take to drive anywhere in West Virginia -- not long. One plane okay but a fleet?

The WV Democrat Chairman Larry Puccio who was Chief of Staff and former business partner of Machine is in the target of the expanded federal investigation. One area that has Dems freaking out is an reported inquiry into a state contract that was awarded to Puccio’s firm for appraising land for the state department of highways. That seems like that would tie direct to the Governor.

Voters in West Virginia need to play it safe and vote for Raese as their Governor is going to be tied up in this probe for some time before it is all said and done. Wanting their Democrat Chair to resign immediately is trying to sweep it all under the rug before the election. Democrat corruption in WV which has been going on since I grew up in Ohio is legendary. Shocked there is even a probe. Must have been under the radar so Holder couldn't stop it in its tracks to protect Manchin. The investigation seems to be growing by the day.

Any Wonder Why National Democrats Are Trying To Change The Subject In West Virginia? Wednesday, October 27, 2010 @ 04:10 PM

Some of you may have seen the new TV ad released by the DSCC today attacking West Virginia Republican Senate candidate John Raese for owning a second home in Florida. That would be the same state where Governor Joe Manchin currently docks his 54-foot yacht, Black Tie. The same yacht reportedly equipped with "two staterooms, a salon, wet bar, washer and dryer, master bath and shower and entertainment center." Not surprisingly, neither Joe Manchin’s recently-revealed Florida ties, nor his 54-foot yacht, were mentioned in the DSCC’s ad.

But when you consider the news headlines below – from just the last 48 hours – regarding the ongoing federal investigation into Governor Manchin’s administration, is it any wonder that his campaign strategists in Washington are so desperate to change the subject? Please take a look below, and more importantly, please also note the latest developments from today on this matter.

Charleston Gazette: More Subpoenas Issued In Federal Investigation
Charleston Daily Mail: Investigation May Hurt Manchin
Charleston Daily Mail: Incidents Come At Bad Time For Democrats
Politico: W.Va. Probe Worries Dems
Charleston Gazette: State Contractor Sentencing Postponed Again Due To Ongoing Probe
Charleston Gazette: Democratic Official Calls For Ouster Of State Chairman

And there are new developments today regarding the ongoing federal investigation into West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin’s Administration….

One day after it was revealed that federal agents have expanded their probe and subpoenaed the director of the state Aviation Division, along with flight logs and records for official government aircraft, the Charleston Gazette reports today that a member of the state Democrat Party's executive committee is calling for the resignation of the State Party Chairman Larry Puccio. Notably, Puccio is Manchin’s former chief of staff who has been linked to this expanding federal probe.

Key graph: Beckwith believes Puccio, who was elected chairman by the executive committee in June, has not been able to serve effectively because of an ongoing federal investigation of the Manchin administration that might have ties to his real-estate appraisal business, as well as to his previous tenure as chief of staff to Gov. Joe Manchin, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate. "Right here in the midst of a crucial off-year election, we are not only trying to stave off the Republicans, but are dealing with the taint ... surrounding the current administration," she stated in the e-mail.

Meanwhile, Fox News reports this afternoon that West Virginia Democrats are “freaking out” over the expanding federal probe into Joe Manchin’s Administration.

Key graph: Manchin, a private pilot, took heat in the past for upgrading the gubernatorial air fleet and for taking personal trips in government planes, like a 2005 jaunt to go pick up his yacht in Mobile, Ala. Local reporters say that the central figure in the investigation is Larry Puccio, the current chairman of the state Democratic Party who is Manchin’s former chief of staff and business partner. One area of inquiry is reportedly a contract awarded to Puccio’s firm for appraising land for the state department of highways. Courthouse whispers in Charleston say that no charges are likely before Election Day in the ever-broadening federal probe, but the possibility is causing tremendous angst among Manchin’s supporters and the Democrats planning to move up the line upon his once seemingly certain election to the Senate.

Notably, with the Senate election now less than a week away, and in a move reminiscent of a quarterback trying to take a knee and run out the clock in the 4th quarter, Joe Manchin still refuses to comment in any way on this expanding federal probe into his Administration.

Armstrong Williams: Obama's supreme pre-election arrogance

This is the very reason that everyone opposed to the Obama agenda has to go vote and ensure that Republican tsunami happens. Republicans out voted Democrats in huge numbers in the primary and we have to do it again on November 2nd.

Obvious that Obama is going to throw a temper tantrum because he has always gotten his way in the past. Spoiled, pampered, ill-tempered, arrogant narcissist is about to find out that the vast majority of America is not in love with the socialist agenda of Obama.

We want our Country back and the Government out of our daily lives -- Obama does not know what is best for America because he never was raised as an American. He is far too radical for the vast majority of Americans. Guess he doesn't realize that a lot of union members already vote Republican no matter what their leaders say.

Vote November 2nd and make that a bad evening for Obama and a great evening for America!

Obama's supreme pre-election arroganceBy Armstrong Williams - 10/28/10 08:31 AM ET

Obama’s arrogance continues to astound.

I honestly don’t think he can see the coming Republican tsunami. He does not think this election is a referendum on him or his policies; rather, the electorate is just being fussy.

Today he is calling unions and urban radio stations encouraging them to vote because if they do in the same numbers as ’08, Dems will win easily. Well, guess what Mr. President, even your once-biggest supporters aren’t keen to see your agenda enacted.

Both Reagan and Clinton were able to recover from bad midterms by working with the other side, compromising to get their overarching agenda passed. Obama has made it clear that any supporters who are jumping off the bandwagon can go home and pout because he’s going to ram his vision of Hope and Change through no matter who stands in his way.

These are not the words of a compromiser, nor a man who understands nuance, as the press so praised him for back in ’08. His world is black and white; you are wrong and he is right.

This foolhardy narcissism will lead to the complete and utter failure of the Obama presidency, and Jimmy Carter will go to his grave knowing he wasn’t the worst president.

Make Mine Freedom Cartoon (1948) (MUST SEE)

This Cartoon Seemed Far Fetched in 1948! Our thanks to the people at National Juggernaut who posted it -- absolutely chilling!

Source: National Juggernaut

Frightening is one word that comes to mind in addition to chilling about how much the Progressive Democrats led by Obama/Pelosi/Reid remind us of Government takeover portrayed in this cartoon that has been speeded up drastically since Obama took office in January 2009.

Time for Freedom loving Americans to begin to Take our Country Back on November 2nd, 2010, and finish the job in November 2012.

Black Republicans Demand Obama 'Bus' Apology

This article basically leaves us speechless. I cannot believe that Obama made this remark but it is a clear indication that he doesn't have a clue what blacks went through in southern areas for years:

During a campaign swing the president said, "We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for a ride, but they gotta sit in back."
Is Obama oblivious to what happened with Rosa Parks when she wouldn't give up her seat to ride in the back of the bus that launched the civil rights movement? Or is he dumb enough to think there are no Black Republicans? In my lifetime I have never seen a more divisive President then Barack Obama. Think it is best summed up by Dr. Timothy F. Johnson who heads the Black Republican Association in an email:

Obama should immediately apologize for the offensive reference to the Jim Crow era.

"Once again the president is perpetuating the racism that exists, and [is] portrayed by the so-called Civil Rights organizations and their leaders," Johnson stated.

"Americans are sick and tired of these divisive statements the president continues to make," he added. "Our first objective is November 2, 2010.

"Next is to find the next president of the United States, and retire President Obama to Chicago, Hawaii, or Kenya in Nov. 2012," stated Johnson.
We love Johnson's idea of retiring the President and had to laugh that he said Kenya as part of his retirement. Maybe Obama can go to Kenya and become President -- they might appreciate him more but he may be too liberal for them as well.

Obama on the campaign trail has turned into a very nasty, unappealing campaigner who obviously forgets he is President of all the United States just not liberal, progressive Democrats. Why should Republicans even bother to try to work with him with his low regard for all of us?

We thought his comments to the Latino to remember their enemies (Republicans) was horrible but he has reached a new low this time. One of the biggest racist in this Country is turning out to the first 'black' President who seems to hate the fact he is 50% white and refuses to acknowledge that fact.

Black Republicans Demand Obama 'Bus' ApologyWednesday, 27 Oct 2010 04:17 PM Article Font Size
By: David A. Patten

Black Republican leaders are demanding that President Barack Obama apologize for what they consider a racially insensitive remark that he made on the campaign trail this weekend.

During a campaign swing the president said, "We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for a ride, but they gotta sit in back."

Dr. Timothy F. Johnson, the black Republican who heads the National Black Republican Association, told Newsmax in an e-mail Wednesday that Obama should immediately apologize for the offensive reference to the Jim Crow era.

....

Johnson is not alone in finding the president's "sit in back" remark offensive.

What if a Republican president had made such a remark? asked Fox News contributor Monica Crowley. She said it would have triggered an uproar from Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

"I think after the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s, riding in the back certainly does have some Civil Rights and racial overtones to it, and you can't tell me the president of the United States wasn't aware of it when he said it," Crowley said Wednesday on Fox News. "I found his comment there appalling [and] I found his refusal to address it in a straightforward way also appalling."

The "sit in back" remark is part of a pattern of increasingly divisive rhetoric from the president in the run up to the midterm elections, Crowley said.

In one recent example, on Monday President Obama urged Latinos to "punish our enemies" during a Univision broadcast.

“If Latinos sit out the election," Obama said, "instead of saying, ‘We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us,’ if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s gonna be harder . . . "

Crowley added: "This is nothing new. Ever since this man became president nearly two years ago now, he has constantly used this kind of incredibly divisive rhetoric. He seems to forget that he's no longer campaigning.

"He's the president of the United States. The president is supposed to be the president of all the people, even those who disagree with his agenda and who disagree with him," Crowley said.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs did not shy away from the controversial "sit in back" statement when asked about it in a press briefing.

He portrayed it as part of the ongoing metaphor that the president has used to assert Republicans drove the economy into a ditch.

“The president said this weekend that the Republicans are going to ride in the back and the middle class will be in the passenger’s seat,” Gibbs said.

In a none-too-subtle jab he added: “We’re certainly concerned with backseat driving.”

Johnson Continues to Lead Feingold the 'Pretend' Maverick in Wisconsin

Russ Feingold before Obama became President used to work across the aisle and be somewhat of a Maverick, but since January 2009, he has been a loyal Obama supporter as this ad details. Feingold still trying to 'Pretend' to be a Maverick is laughable today. More of the say and do anything mantra of liberal Democrats to try and fool the voters. This time Feingold has been called on his 'Maverick' mantra that has gone away as he votes in lockstep today with Harry Reid and Obama.

Voters are waking up not only in Wisconsin but across the Country that liberal Democrats will say and do anything to get reelected. After learning what the liberal Democrats said in 2006 and 2008 compared to how they voted, they can no longer fool voters. We are on to their bait and switch tactics. They can thank Obama for pointing it out so well with his Hope and Change liberal bait and switch he has pulled on Americans.

New Poll Shows Johnson Leading Feingold in Wisconsin Wednesday, October 27, 2010

In Wisconsin, a new Rasmussen survey shows businessman Ron Johnson leading embattled 18-year incumbent Russ Feingold:

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Johnson, a wealthy plastics manufacturer, picking up 53% of the vote. Feingold, who has represented the state in the Senate since 1993, draws support from 46%. Only one percent (1%) are undecided at this point… The race remains Leans Republican in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings. Two weeks ago, Johnson held a similar 52% to 45% lead over Feingold.
“Made In America”

Oshkosh manufacturer and U.S. Senate Candidate Ron Johnson’s campaign launched a new television ad today, titled “Made In America.” The ad, which will appear statewide, features Ron Johnson talking about bringing jobs back to Wisconsin.

From the Ron Johnson campaign for Wisconsin Senator:

“Senator Feingold’s reckless spending in Washington has taken a toll on hard working Wisconsinites,” Ron Johnson for Senate Spokeswoman Sara Sendek said. “Ron Johnson has a 31 year record of creating jobs and as Senator he will work hard every day to bring Wisconsin back to economic prosperity.”

Script:

“Made In America”

RON: Not long ago manufacturing drove America, providing good jobs and a good living for Wisconsin families.

Now, our manufacturing communities struggle….because of misguided policies from Washington.

I believe America and Wisconsin can come back — better than ever.

But we have to stop Washington’s over-taxing and over-spending. Its killing our jobs.

Get government out of the way, and hardworking Americans can get it done.

I’m Ron Johnson, and I approved this message.

Sunshine State News -- Alex Sink: Cheating, Lying, Losing

We have been reading a lot of articles about the fall out from the debate, but have to say that Nancy Smith of Sunshine State News has covered it better than anyone. She has caught the essence of Sink's smugness, arrogance, and 'holier than thou' attitude that has been on display throughout the campaign.

Does Sink care if her ads tell the truth? The clear answer is NO as she has questioned Scott's integrity and honor every step of the way with her lies and spin which seem to typify liberal Democrat campaigns in this mid-term election. When questioned on her own record, she ducks the question or blames others.

The biggest difference in the two shows up in the fact Scott is willing to admit if he made a mistake but Alex Sink holds herself to the typical liberal standard that it is someone else's fault as she is superior.

This is Day 3 of the cheating scandal of Alex Sink. Who is she going to blame today? Maybe she can bring in her good friend Obama to lecture Floridians on the need to support Sink against her enemies (evil Republicans). Worked really well (sarcasm) when he did it to Latinos in California -- backfiring across the Country. Obama and Sink make the perfect pair -- blame everyone else for any of their mistakes!

Alex Sink: Cheating, Lying, Losing
CNN debate gaffe an election killer when you've run a self-righteous campaign

Sunshine State News
By: Nancy Smith | Posted: October 27, 2010 4:05 AM

Alex Sink might just as well have doused her campaign with kerosene and put a match to it.

Her dream of being governor went up in smoke Monday night.

It’s all but gone.

For some candidates, cheating during a TV debate, even lying about it afterward, might look like a mountain. But if they never cried out to voters, 'I'm the good and honorable one,' then it's a mountain they can climb.

Not so for Alex Sink, who spent the last 2 1/2 months setting herself up as the antipathy of wickedness.

Sink built her whole campaign on a kind of special righteousness. She emphasized the vast distance between her trustworthiness, honesty and character, and Rick Scott’s lack thereof.

It’s been an all-the-time thing from the beginning, this comparison between upstanding Democrat Alex Sink and sleazy Republican Rick Scott. Her ads, her press releases, her speeches – one after the other a sanctimonious comparison between evil and good (Scott and herself, respectively).

Well, now what does she do?

With the election like the iceberg just before Titanic hit, Sink is out there looking impending disaster in the eye. The CNN debate video of her reading a text message when it was against the rules has been linked and clicked and shown tens of thousands of times already, not only in this country but around the world.

That kind of notoriety, that kind of gossip-induced titillation, doesn’t go away in a week. Ask Sen. Mike Bennett, R-Bradenton.

Neither does the realization that Florida’s chief financial officer is virtually incapable of accepting responsibility. First she fired the “aide” who sent her the text message, then she kicked him by telling the press, “it was foolish” for him to do it. Is this a sample of how she would govern the state of Florida?

What we realize now is that she knew full well what the text message was when she said she didn’t. We know she cheated and we know she lied about it later.

If those are harsh words, they are at least fair ones.

And if Rick Scott chooses to play the Alex Sink Election Blues like a country-western song on a fiddle, in ads from now till Tuesday, who can blame him?

The bloom is off Alex Sink’s rose.

The pillars of righteousness on which her campaign was built disappeared Oct. 25 in a cloud of smoke.

CNN: Alex Sink Lied (You Tube videos included)

This is an update to last night's post on the fallout following the debate in Florida for Governor on Monday night where Alex Sink looked at a text message from her staff which broke the rules for the debate. Sink went on Chris Matthews, MSNBC program, last night and lied about what happened even though she fired the aide. Half an hour after her lie, John King came on the Wolf Blitzer show to reveal explosive audio exposing her lie.

For years we have heard the cover-up is worse than the act in politics and this falls right into that category. Not only did she cheat, but she lied about cheating knowing full well what the details were. Sink probably didn't realize that audio was available to be reviewed so she thought she had gotten away with it and turned it on Scott for saying anything in case it was her daughter. She was nailed on her lie by John King.

Anyone supporting Sink for Florida Governor better rethink. If she will do this in a debate, what will she lie about if she became Governor. Her campaign ads have been full of lies which is nothing new, but this time she went on MSNBC with her lie and was caught by CNN.

This is a reminder of Clinton and his famous shaking his finger at us with "I did not ..." when he did unless you throw in the meaning of the word 'is' into the discussion. Same type of politician -- don't take responsibility for your actions. It affects both parties when you get arrogant candidates who believe the rules don't apply to them.

John King rips false claim that Sink thought text message was from daughter

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Last night, in an attempt to cover up her cheating on national television during a CNN debate, failed CFO and debate cheat Alex Sink made things worse by lying to Chris Matthews on MSNBC. Soon after that appearance, CNN’s John King revealed explosive audio exposing her lie.

At 5:30 pm Alex Sink told Chris Matthews “the make-up artist held up her phone and said I just got this message, I don’t know who it’s from. I looked at it because, you know I’m a mom…”

Half an hour later, John King directly contradicted her, saying, “But we listened very closely to the audio, and the makeup artist, when she approached Alex Sink, said ‘I have a message from the staff.’ And at that point they looked, it was on a cell phone, it was two sentences.”

Expanded transcripts and clips of the two videos are below: Alex Sink on MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews:

"Well, uh, what happened was, Chris, last night that the makeup artist held up her phone and said I just got this message, I don't know who it's from. I looked at it because, you know, I’m a mom, my instinct is my daughter's in Europe. I don't know who this message is from. I glanced at it. I didn't understand even what it was, and I just ignored it."

John King on CNN’s Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer:

“Today she said she wasn't sure what it was when the makeup artist handed her the phone. She thought it might have been a message from a daughter who she said was in college in [England]. But we listened very closely to the audio, and the makeup artist, when she approached Alex Sink, said I have a message from the staff. And at that point they looked, it was on a cell phone, it was two sentences. It was essentially advice after the last segment of the debate telling her if that question comes up again, remember this, and be more aggressive when Rick Scott questions you. It was two sentences.

Rubio for Senate TV Ad, "A Generational Choice"

Marco Rubio is one of the best candidates the Republicans have had in years. His core values and beliefs don't change -- he is the same as he was the day he announced for the Senate. God, Family, Country describe Marco Rubio.

He is someone who comes from a unique perspective of being the son of immigrants who was born in America and grew up appreciating what America has to offer. His love of this Country sends a chill up your spine as it comes from the heart.

During the two years prior to assuming the speakership (Florida House), Rubio traveled around the state hosting “Idearaisers” to solicit Floridians’ input on ways to strengthen Florida. The 100 best ideas were compiled into a book entitled “100 Innovative Ideas for Florida’s Future” which served as the basis for his term. All 100 ideas were passed by the Florida House. Fifty-seven of these ideas ultimately became law, including measures to crack down on gangs and sexual predators, promote energy efficient buildings, appliances and vehicles, and help small businesses obtain affordable health coverage. Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich hailed the effort as “a work of genius.”
Several states have copied Marco Rubio's 100 ideas including my State of Oklahoma.  It gives the people of the state a chance to have an input on how their state can be improved.
Marco Rubio for President? He would have my vote hands down along with full support if he decides to run.

The Cheating Came Before the Lie -- Alex Sink Lied on MSNBC and John King, CNN, Contradicted Her

Alex Sink is the typical Democrat Liberal. Instead of saying she made a mistake, she dug the hole deeper. Did she really think that John King of CNN would go along with what she told Chris Matthews on MSNBC when he knew it was a lie? One-half hour after she lied, John King was on the air contradicting her.

She has Florida Today out of Brevard County backing up her 'story' on the pension fund which flies in the face of the St. Petersberg Times investigative report. St. Pete Times wins that one hands down when you realize they investigated and independently discovered the loss of millions. Are Sink and Cosmos both using Florida Today in Cosmos district to get out stories that no other media will touch?

Do Floridians really want a cheat and a liar for Governor? If she will do this in the campaign, what would she do in Tallahassee since not playing by the rules seems to be her mantra?

President Bush at the Radio and TV Correspondents Dinner, 3 April 2008

With only seven days to go until the election, thought we would put up this video of President Bush to show how he could make fun of himself. Also the compassion he has for others comes through loud and clear in this video. It is reminder of what it is like to have a President that doesn't take himself too serious and is able to laugh. It is 7 minutes in length but in that 7 minutes you realize the contrast between today's occupant of the Oval Office, Barack Obama, and George W Bush is huge.

On November 2nd, Americans can start the rebirth of this Country where we have Congressional leaders who care deeply about America and are willing to fight the progressive trek toward socialism that Obama, Pelosi, Reid and their followers have us on today. November 2nd is only Part One of Taking Back America to restore the faith of the American people that our leaders are on the right track and Freedom is a priority for all Americans.

Most important thing you can do as an American is to exercise your vote on November 2nd to restore Common Sense to the Congress and stop the liberal agenda of Obama.

God Bless America and keep her safe from our enemies -- foreign and domestic -- let her remain a beacon of freedom around the world.

NRSC Launches New California TV Ad, “Nothing Will Change” -- Boxer Fails to Report House on Ethics Report

"Nothing Will Change" is probably the understatement of the year.  Barbara 'Call me Senator' Boxer is one of the more dense along with being arrogant Senators we have.  Cannot believe the people of California kept sending her back to DC.  Makes one wonder how many illegal votes have been cast over the years when Obama can go in the state and encourage Latinos to punish the enemies of immigration reform.  How many illegals have voted in California?  We already know in Los Angeles, they will move polling places right before the election so legitimate voters have a hard time finding them.

We are hoping the next Governor of California will be Meg Whitman and a priority will be to clean up the voting lists in the precincts in California especially in the large cities where voter fraud is rampant.  Wonder how much more of a percentage of voters has to turn out in California to counter the voter fraud?  The United States sends representatives overseas to monitor elections when we have massive election fraud in our own Country which the DOJ turns a blind eye.  Now the Holder DOJ also has turned a blind eye to voter intimidation by the new Black Panthers which you would see in a 3rd World Country.

Californians now have a chance to make a difference by retiring Barbara Boxer and her lack of ethics and electing Carly Fiorina to be their next Senator who will work for Californians not Obama/Reid.

NRSC Launches New California TV Ad, “Nothing Will Change” Tuesday, October 26, 2010 @ 11:10 AM

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) announced its first independent expenditure television advertisement in California today, entitled "Nothing Will Change," highlighting millionaire U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer’s (D-CA) failed record in Washington supporting higher taxes and job crushing policies in Washington.

NRSC Press Secretary Amber Marchand issued the following statement:

"Millionaire Senator Barbara Boxer has spent her entire career looking out for the best interests of one person: herself. Boxer’s partisan, ineffective work in Washington fighting for higher taxes and job killing policies haven’t helped the families, seniors, and job creators in California who are facing more than 12 percent unemployment today."
The Los Angeles Times’ Maeve Reston reports:

Though the criticism of Boxer's effectiveness and the charge that she's been in office too long mirrors the core message of Republican challenger Carly Fiorina's campaign, the NRSC's new spot seeks to get the attention of women with a female narrator and images of seven women looking solemnly in the camera... The NRSC ad is part of its $7.8-million investment in the race, the first $4.8 million of which was directed toward a series of ads in concert with the Fiorina campaign.
Today we also learn that Barbara Boxer who heads the Senate Ethics Committee has failed to disclose real property valued at over $1M she owns on her ethics report from 2002 - 2010. As head of Ethics, leaving off this house would bring into question WHY? She knows better but did it anyway.

After reading this and other items showing lack of ethics and transparency of candidates, the Senate needs new Ethics Rules. Anyone with a complaint against them should not be Chairing or even be on the Ethics Committee. Think it is time for full disclosure of anyone running for office including incumbents. Also the idea that someone can 'loan' their campaign money needs looked at as well because it puts millionaire's running for office on a different playing field.

It is past time to replace one of the more annoying Senators Barbara Boxer and her liberal agenda with a Senator who will listen to the people, Carley Fiorina.

BREAKING: Ethics Foundation Requests A.G. Holder Investigate Sen. BoxerOctober 26, 2010 - by Roger L Simon

In a breaking development that may affect the close California Senate race, Pajamas Media has learned The Foundation for Ethics in Public Service sent a letter to Eric Holder last Thursday requesting the attorney general “begin an investigation to determine whether United States Senator Barbara Boxer violated any criminal laws or should be liable for any civil penalty for failure to disclose real property on her Personal Financial Disclosure Reports between 2002 and 2010.”

The Foundation for Ethics in Public Service is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization “that seeks to bring a new level of transparency, accountability and integrity to all levels of government in the United States.” Boxer is the chair of the Senate Select Committee on Ethics.

The specific property FEPS is referring to is an Oakland, California, home valued at over a million dollars and co-owned by Boxer, her husband Stewart, their son Douglas, and his wife Amy. The letter to Holder reads in part:

Despite the fact that Senator Boxer had an ownership in 854 Longridge Road [in Oakland], she failed to report this substantial real property asset on any of her personal financial disclosures between 2002 and 2010. She had also failed to report the mortgage on the property. Further, she failed to report the purchase of 854 Longridge Road in 2002. Each year Boxer was required to have filed a “full and complete report.”

The filing of false or incomplete disclosure statements is in violation of the Ethics in Government Act. The Act authorizes the Attorney General of the United States to seek civil penalties against Senators who knowingly and willfully falsify or fail to report required information. The knowing and willful concealment of the existence of substantial amount of real property for a prolonged period may subject Senators to federal criminal prosecution under 18 U.S.C. paragraph 101. [other citations are available at the link]

The Oakland home is currently lived in by Douglas and his wife. This is not the first time Senator Boxer’s son has been the center of controversy. The senator reportedly paid out nearly $500,000 from her campaign contributions to her son’s public relations firm between 2001 and 2009. Those moneys could have been used to pay off the mortgage on the Oakland property, adding urgency to the DOJ investigation sought by The Foundation for Ethics in Public Service and further complicating the legal and ethical issues involved.

Alex Sink in Florida Debate for Governor Cheated!

Last night we provided the written account of her cheating and now we have the video. If Sink cheats in a debate, what will she do as Governor since she doesn't believe the rules apply to her? If this had been a Republican, bet it would have been the lead story for every news outlet.

Manchin Continues to Receive Harsh Criticism for His Desperate Attempts to Distract Voters (Flip Flops)

When we first heard that Manchin was going to run, we figured he would run away with the election since he was a popular Governor. Not living near West Virginia we had no idea he was such a huge Obama/Pelosi supporter and had been out campaigning for Obamacare. That might work as Governor but not as a Senator. Then we hear that he wasn't fighting Obama/Pelosi's Cap and Trade and he comes from a coal energy producing state. That led us to question how he was going to win in West Virginia running for Senate because West Virginia is NOT a liberal state and did not come close to voting for Obama. Yet their popular Governor was in the hip pocket of Obama.

As time has gone on, we have come to realize the Manchin they liked as Governor does not translate into Manchin for Senate. When you start having one of the larger West Virginia daily newspapers along with the Huffington Post go after Machin for his flip flopping on healthcare, you realize that Machin's plans to become a Senator are slowing eroding. His opponent John Raese has been ahead in the polls for some time. West Virginians can count on Raese to vehemently oppose any bills that would hurt the West Virginia coal industry while working to increase safety. He will be representing the residents of West Virginia not Obama/Pelosi in the Senate.

Manchin Continues to Receive Harsh Criticism for His Desperate Attempts to Distract Voters

Tuesday, October 26, 2010 @ 10:10 AM

Finally, in West Virginia, liberal Governor Joe Manchin continues to face harsh criticism for his desperate attempts to distract voters from his rubberstamp support for President Barack Obama’s liberal agenda in Washington. The Charleston Gazettereports:

Gov. Joe Manchin appeared on Fox News Sunday yesterday, telling host Chris Wallace that he wouldn’t have voted for health care reform if he had been in the Senate at the time… The National Republican Senatorial Committee slammed Manchin after the Fox interview, accusing him of trying to “re-invent himself.” “No matter how hard career politician Joe Manchin tries to re-invent himself, the reality is that when the rubber met the road, he rubber-stamped ObamaCare and the failed stimulus, and if elected to the Senate he will continue to rubber-stamp the Obama agenda,” NRSC spokesman Brian Walsh said in a statement. “A vote for Joe Manchin on November 2nd will be a vote for the Obama agenda.”

And Politico looks at Manchin’s “outright turnaround – and a sign of Manchin’s difficult task in his race for the Senate.”

Even some of Manchin’s supporters agreed that his most recent comments on the issue smack of political posturing – even if he also honestly believes that some portions of the bill are passable….The governor’s position on health care has left some local Democrats scratching their heads. “There’s many, many parts of the health reform plan that are positive for West Virginians,” said Matheney. “But I am not clear about the parts that he opposes.”

A new Fox News battleground state poll of likely voters shows Republican John Raese still leading with 48 percent of the vote, the same as the two previous Fox News polls.

Obama asks Latinos to 'punish our enemies'

Mr. Obama is NEVER going to keep his promise on immigration because there will be NO amnesty for illegals. If I was black, I would be thoroughly disgusted that Obama is comparing illegals to the black civil rights movement. Blacks were here legally. We are talking about Latinos who are in this Country 'illegally' which means they don't belong in this Country.

Republicans have always supported LEGAL immigration but to reward anyone for breaking the law is flat out wrong. Now Obama wants the people of Latino descent to 'punish' our enemies (Republicans) for not granting amnesty and passing comprehensive immigration reform? First of all Obama misses the boat that a lot of Latinos don't appreciate the people here illegally either. The illegals are supported by big Democrat donor groups like La Raza who are pretty radical as they see dollar signs as lawyers. Who does he want to punish their 'enemies' (Republicans)? Illegals who shouldn't be voting? Is that who he is is wanting to get out and vote? Latinos who are not American citizens? How much voter fraud is there in the Latino community?

This is one of the most disgusting displays of partisan politics out of a President that we can remember. He is demanding Republicans bow to him and his agenda, but calls them the enemy? Obama can take his rhetoric and shove it. November 2012 cannot come soon enough to get this man out of office once and for all.

Obama Vows to Push Immigration Changes
By ASHLEY SOUTHALL

In the final week leading up to the midterm elections, President Barack Obama is encouraging Hispanic voters to turn their frustration over stalled immigration reform against Republicans on Election Day.

Hispanics make up a crucial voting bloc in several battleground states and Democrats are hoping to pick up voters turned off by anti-immigrant discourse.

In a radio interview that aired on Univision on Monday, Mr. Obama sought to assure Hispanics that he would push an immigration overhaul after the midterm elections, even though he has not been able to attract Republican support.

“If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, ‘We’re going to punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us,’ if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s going to be harder and that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on voting on November 2.”

Referring specifically to Republicans such as Senator John McCain, who formerly supported an overhual but now are stressing border security and supporting strict immigration laws like Arizona’s anti-illegal immigration measure, Mr. Obama said, “Those aren’t the kinds of folks who represent our core American values.”

In a pitch for Senator Harry Reid, the Senate majority leader, who locked in a dead heat with his Republican opponent, Sharron Angle, Mr. Obama warned voters that Ms. Angle “is completely opposed to comprehensive immigration reform.” He also denounced an ad encouraging Nevada’s Latinos to stay home on Election Day as “cynical.”

Democrats have put forth a number of proposals aimed at overhauling the nation’s immigration laws. But talks floundered after Senator Lindsey Graham, the lone Republican who was working with them on the overhaul, walked away during a dispute over energy policy.

The Justice Department successfully sued Arizona over its immigration law, arguing that it interfered with the federal government’s role in enforcing immigration laws. Arizona has appealed a stay imposed by a federal judge.

Comparing the immigration fight to African Americans’ decades-long struggle to gain civil rights, Mr. Obama said, “instead of us giving up, we just have to keep working until it gets done.”

“I’m going to keep my promise on immigration reform,” Mr. Obama said.

Change We Can Believe In on November 2nd!

I Cheat -- Alex Sink Cheats in the Florida Governor's Debate

Received this email from the Scott campaign following the debate tonight.  Unbelievable that Alex Sink felt compelled to cheat.  It is either arrogance of a liberal Democrat they can break the rules all they want or abject stupidity -- either way she does not deserve to be Governor.  If she will cheat in a debate, what would she do as Governor?  We already know what she did as the CFO of Florida making bad investments and hiring unnecessary middlemen for over $1M to open doors to pension funds which was a waste of money.

How much money has Alex Sink, FL CFO, cost the residents of Florida with bad judgement?  Now she wants to be Governor?  She has no plan on even how to fund her $58B in new programs although she might want an Internet Tax which she has put on the table.  No idea how to grow jobs along with no plan.  Guess we would be safe in saying that she would want another stimulus from Obama for Florida to say she grew jobs.

There is one choice for Florida Governor and that is Rick Scott with his 7-7-7 Plan to turn the Florida economy around, add jobs in the private sector not in Government, and reduce government.  We just hope that Alex Sink doesn't end up back in the banking industry as they have enough problems.

Dear Sharon,

I know many of you had the opportunity to watch the debate between Rick Scott and Alex Sink on CNN this evening. During the debate, there was a moment that crystallized the stakes in this election. Alex Sink broke the rules agreed to by both campaigns prior to the debate when she was shown a message on an iPhone by an aide during one of the commercial breaks. It was especially ironic because she cheated right after an exchange about ethical conduct.

Rick immediately noted this cheating and mentioned it in his first answer after the break. After the debate, moderator Adam Smith of the St. Petersburg Times sent the following tweet:

@adamsmithtimes: Alex Sink cheated during Fla gov debate Tampa Bay Blogs
It is very unusual for a moderator to feel compelled to make such a judgment following a debate, but it is also unheard of for a candidate to so recklessly ignore an agreement.

Floridians deserve a governor who respects their agreements and tonight, after her iCheat episode, it’s clear that Alex Sink will do anything to get elected.

Sincerely,

/s/

Sink-Obama, Ideological Soulmates - Both Pro-Abortion

We said earlier that Alex Sink could run away from Obama but she couldn't hide. The truth was going to catch up with her sooner or later.  Sink is a member of Emily's list, and an extreme liberal who took her 15-year old daughter to an abortion rally in 2004. How many parents would do that?

Sink Took Her 15-Year Old Daughter To An Abortion Rally. “Although the march is not religion-based, many of the attendees are people of faith. Some are Christians who are angry that abortion rights opponents such as Operation Rescue appear to speak for all people of faith. ‘I resent it,’ said Alex Sink of Hillsborough County, a Presbyterian and the wife of former gubernatorial candidate Bill McBride, who will march Sunday with her 15-year-old daughter, Lexi. ‘They are extremists. To hide behind some religion is wrong. I resent that they may question the faith of some women who just believe government should stay out of reproductive issues.’” (Schulte, Eileen, “Faithful To March – But For Choice,” St. Petersburg Times, 4/24/04)

EMILY’s List, A Radical Pro-Abortion Organization Named Sink One Of Their Top 5 Priority Races In The Country. “A leading pro-abortion organization has released a list of its top five candidates it will be supporting in the 2010 elections. Emily’s List, which only supports pro-abortion candidates who back taxpayer-funded abortions and oppose a ban on partial-birth abortions, is helping bankroll their campaigns… In Florida, the pro-abortion group wants State Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink to become governor, replacing Gov. Charlie Crist… Sink faces pro-life Attorney General Bill McCollum in a marquis race for the Florida governorship and she complains McCollum is ‘known for being radically anti-choice.’ Democrats have a chance to win back the governorship after a decade of Republican rule, and recent polling shows this is an extremely close race, putting Alex within striking distance to win the race for governor in this crucial battleground state. But Republicans, led by Jeb Bush, will do whatever it takes to hold on to the governor’s mansion,’ Malcolm says.” (Ertelt, Steven, “Pro-Abortion Group Names Top 5 Candidates It Supports In 2010 Elections,” Lifenews.com, 9/2/09)

Sink Was The Brainchild Of Ruth’s List, A Florida Imitation Of EMILY’s List, Whose Top Priority Is To Elect Sink Governor. “Several prominent Tampa Democratic women are among a group trying to develop a state-level imitation of the powerful national political fundraising organization EMILY’s List. The new Florida organization, Ruth’s List, will focus only on state races, but has the same goal that EMILY’s List has in congressional races: "To elect pro-choice, progressive Democratic women candidates," said Fort Myers political consultant Ellis Robinson. It was the brainchild of Tampa Democrat Alex Sink, state chief financial officer, who’s running for governor. Backing Sink will be the group’s top priority this year, Robinson said. But she and others denied it’s just an outgrowth of the Sink campaign. The organization was planned in 2007 and began operation last year, before Sink decided to run for governor, Robinson said.” (March, William, “Florida Democratic Women Organize Fundraising Arm,” Tampa Tribue, 12/6/09)

As Of 2010, Alex Sink Has Donated Over $46,600 Dollars To Federal Campaigns Of Emily’s List, A Radical Pro-Abortion Organization. (Federal Election Commission, www.fec.gov, Accessed 09/6/10)

Sink Was Awarded The 2003 “Choice Award” By Planned Parenthood. “Alex Sink, retired president of Bank of America’s Florida operations and wife of failed gubernatorial candidate Bill McBride, was given Planned Parenthood’s ‘Choice Award’ for her contributions to women’s rights and called ‘an exquisite role model to women who want to work and have a career.’ Sink made sure McBride’s campaign reflected women’s abortion rights issues, one Planned Parenthood speaker said.” (Tubbs, Sharon “Roe vs. Wade Commemoration Takes On Rally Flavor,” St. Petersburg Times, 01/30/03)
On August 18, 2010, the day following the Florida primary, Obama made a fundraising trip to Florida for Alex Sink.  One little problem -- Sink ducked out of the fundraiser before Obama got there saying she had a prior commitment.  It was a lame excuse then and haven't changed our minds.   On CSPAN this video shows what Obama had to say that day about Alex Sink:

Alex Sink can run away all she wants from Obama and his Agenda but voters of Florida know that is just a ruse to pretend she is more conservative than what she really is. There is NOTHING Conservative about Alex Sink or anyone else who belongs to Emily's List.

On November 2nd, voters will be let her know that pretending to be something she is not did not work in Florida when they elect Rick Scott and Jennifer Carroll as Governor and Lt Governor of Florida.

"60 Minutes" In-depth Report on Unemployed and Underemployed in America: 17.5%; California 22%

The first question that comes to mind is "Why would 60 minutes do an article like this right before the election?" That makes no sense out of CBS. They are reporting something we have suspected all along that the actual rate is much higher than the Administration wants to admit.

It is actually shocking like Bretbart.com says that CBS would do this report, but what is their ulterior motive? Is the plan by Obama and his advisors to have the Republicans take over Congress so he can blame them when he doesn't get something passed? It worked for Bill Clinton who moved to the center but it will never work for Obama as he has no clue from his recent statements what it takes to work together. He is way too arrogant demanding Republicans come to his way of thinking. If CBS is doing this thinking they will see a Bill Clinton lite running in 2012, they are dead wrong. Or do they want Hillary running instead of Obama.

If anyone can figure it out, please feel free to post your comments because for now we are at a loss as to why CBS would report this one week before the election.
60 Minutes Shock Report: Unemployed and Underemployed 17.5%; California 22%by Larry O'Connor

In a report sure to cause consternation at the White House and in the offices of the Democratic Leadership in Congress, “60 Minutes” provided an in-depth report on the realities of the unemployment situation in America today.

When you take into account the underemployed as well as the unemployed, the national rate hits 17% and California a staggering 22%.

To put a face on the realities of the underemployed in America under Obamanomincs, reporter Scott Pelley spoke with a fiber-optics engineering manager who has been looking for work for over a year. He just took a job working at a Target. 20% of the unemployed in America have college degrees.

According to the report, 1/3 of the unemployed have been out of work for over a year. This hasn’t happenned since the Great Depression.

Airing one week before the mid-term elections, this report explains better than anything, exactly what is at stake for our country on November 2.

NRSC Launches New Colorado TV Ad, “Challenges”

We were shocked when Gov Ritter appointed Michael Bennet who at the time was Superintendent of Denver Public Schools to replace Salazar. We are not too sure how he got that job except as a political reward. Bennet served two years as Denver Mayor Hickenlooper's Chief of Staff so he went from Chief of Staff to Superintendent of DPS?

Now Hickenlooper is running for Governor and Bennet was appointed to fill the Senate seat of Salazar who is the Obama Energy Secretary and has done a really poor job especially with the Gulf Oil Spill and fallout for starters.  Doesn't look like to us that Bennet was cut out to be Superintendent of DPS as fast as he took the job as a Senator and announced he would run for election.

Now the voters of Colorado have a chance to send Republican Ken Buck to the Senate who will represent and listen to his constituents versus the Obama supporter Bennet who is fully on board the Obama agenda in the Senate. Bennet scored an '8' conservative voting record in 2009 after replacing Salazar. His Democrat counterpart in the Senate had a '16' voting record in 2009. No wonder the people we have met in Colorado are fed up with their Senators. Parts of Colorado may be more liberal but most of that State doesn't come close to being that liberal.

Ken Buck needs the support and votes of 'Common Sense' people from Colorado to send a message to the President -- no more liberal agenda!

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) announced a new independent expenditure television advertisement in Colorado today, entitled “Challenges,” highlighting Governor Ritter’s appointed U.S. Senator Michael Bennet’s (D-CO) record of rubberstamping President Obama’s reckless spending agenda in Washington.
....

NRSC Press Secretary Amber Marchand issued the following statement today:

“While our nation suffers from an economic crisis and burdensome unemployment, Coloradans can’t afford appointed Senator Michael Bennet, who has helped his party ram through reckless spending, out-of-control debt, and job-killing tax hikes in Washington. Voters in Colorado deserve a U.S. Senator who will fight for their best interests – not another rubberstamp for President Obama’s costly partisan agenda, which has failed to create jobs while driving our national debt past $13.6 trillion.”

Democrat Governor Manchin in West Virginia Senate Race has done a Full 180 on Obamacare

The Kerry flip flopping is catching on around the Country as Democrat Manchin has done a 180 from being out campaigning for Obamacare earlier this year to saying he would not have voted for Obamacare on Oct 24th.

Once again we also have a Democrat admitting they didn't read the bill before campaigning for its passage.  Machin's comments while he was out campaigning for Obamacare along with yesterday's comments he would have voted against it  are 180 degrees apart, but he wants West Virginians to believe he will be their voice in the Senate not Obama's?  Give us a break -- it is getting more obvious with every passing day that Democrats will say and do anything to get elected in 2010 and Manchin is no exception.

Thanks to the power of the Internet and YouTube voters can see right through the Democrat spin and lies this year. You cannot beat having a candidate's own words to show where they stand or flip flop.

Judge for yourself if West Virginians can trust Manchin to be their Senator. If you are going to do a 180 in the general election campaign, it is a safe bet you will be on the side of the Obama Democrats in DC come January.

Time for West Virginia to be represented by a man they can trust to do what he says -- Republican John Raese who doesn't change his stance on issues to fit the scenario of the day or to pander for votes.

Manchin said ""I’d Be For It" on Obamacare's passage in March 2010:

Manchin said he would have voted against Obamacare on October 24, 2010:

Joe Manchin Does "Full 180" On ObamaCare

On Fox News Sunday this morning, West Virginia Governor and embattled Senate candidate Joe Manchin continued his re-invention tour as he now tries to run as far as possible from President Obama and the Democrats’ agenda in Washington. As Huffington Post reports, Manchin pulled a "full 180" on ObamaCare saying that he would have voted against the bill had he been in Congress.
....

In response to Governor Manchin’s interview on Fox News Sunday, NRSC Communications Director Brian Walsh said:

"No matter how hard career politician Joe Manchin tries to re-invent himself, the reality is that when the rubber met the road, he rubber-stamped ObamaCare and the failed stimulus, and if elected to the Senate he will continue to rubber-stamp the Obama agenda. A vote for Joe Manchin on November 2nd will be a vote for the Obama agenda."

The choice is clear in West Virginia -- John Raese needs your vote as he is the ONLY candidate who will go to the Senate and stand up West Virginians not be a rubberstamp for Obama's agenda like Manchin.

Heckler Disrupts Florida Senate Debate

Charlie Crist will be remembered as the person in Florida politics who went from the top of the State of Florida as Governor to the trash heap of being called a 'heckler' because he kept trying to talk over Marco Rubio in this morning's debate. Guess Crist doesn't consider his flip flops fair game in a debate. Crist reminds you of a little kid who didn't get their way and is now throwing a temper tantrum.

Moderator did a poor job of keeping control which is typical of a CNN debate. This debate will be remembered for Charlie the Heckler and little else.

Rubio won the debate once again -- this time in spite of Crist not wanting to allow him to speak. This video is priceless and shows what happens when an arrogant person is getting beat. Kind of reminds you of the person in the White House!

Question of the week -- Will Charlie stay in Florida or try to get a job with the Obama Administration?

Heckler Disrupts Florida Senate Debate
October 24, 2010
By Javier Manjarres

Tampa, Florida– The three candidates for the open U.S. Senate seat in Florida squared off again in another debate hosted by CNN and the St. Petersburg Times this Sunday morning. The audience was not lulled to sleep, as there were an abundance of jabs that were thrown around by all three of the candidates- with even a few round-house kicks thrown into the mix.

Much to the surprise of the viewing audience, the debate was crashed by a “heckler” who disrupted the proceedings by showing a lack of respect for the moderators and for Mr. Rubio whom this ‘Heckler’ targeted. I am sure CNN is looking into how this heckler made it past security and into the debate room. “The Heckler’s” chameleon-like disguise was one of a kind and his actions showed that he has obviously mastered the art of deception and has perpetrated this kind of smoke and mirrors trickery before.

This “Heckler”, who actually made it on to the stage, can only be described as Superhero-like, with snow white hair, lean physique, and a very tan complexion. The Heckler has been identified as none other than the candidate ”of the people”, the “ I need your vote, what should I say now” candidate, the “ what do the pollsters think I should do” candidate. The “Heckler” of whom I refer to was none other than Governor Charlie “The Chuckster” Crist.
