"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

Obama Website, NEA Caught in Devastating Political Gaffes (LIES!)

Digital Journal
8/31/2009
Johnny Simpson

Last week, NEA Communications Director Yosi Sergent denied claims that memos asking artists to draft Obama policy art came from his office at NEA. They did. You can see those memos themselves now, with the email addresses originating from Sergent's office at NEA.

Also, the Official Obama healthcare website, Organizing For America, now features a post that calls ObamaCare opponents "Heirs of bin Laden" and "Right Wing Domestic Terrorists." And all that's just for starters.

Comment: So much for the Obama Administration being ethical and transparent -- liars and name callers is more like it.

Minority Leader Boehner's Statement on CIA Investigation by Obama Administration

Boehner Statement on Obama Administration's Appointment of Special Prosecutor to Investigate CIA - “The men and women who protect this country should never have to worry that they will face criminal prosecution as a result of a political election."

AP: White House Projects Bigger Deficits, Bigger Debt – "The federal government faces exploding deficits and mounting debt over the next decade, White House officials predicted Tuesday in a fiscal assessment far bleaker than what the Obama administration had estimated just a few months ago."

Chicago Tribune: Chilling the CIA - "[A] long-running backward-looking political-score-settling probe could chill CIA interrogators and all of those on the front lines of keeping America safe now. Those agents can't do their jobs effectively if they're worried about being criminally charged, years later, for actions they were told at the time were legal, actions that were encouraged by superiors in a moment of national crisis."

Washington Times: Interrogators got valued info, could face charges - "The Obama administration Monday appointed a special prosecutor to pursue criminal charges against CIA employees who interrogated some of al Qaeda's hardest core members, while releasing documents showing individuals subjected to the tactics provided life-saving intelligence that disrupted numerous terror plots ranging from an anthrax attack on Westerners to a massive bombing of U.S. troops in Africa."

Comments: Where are the Democrat comments opposing the investigation of the CIA agents who have kept this Country safe from another attack since 9/11. Does the Democrat Leadership agree with Obama and Holder? Obama could stop this investigation but we are hearing crickets chirping once again from this White House. Former VP Cheney was right about the interrogations help keeping us safe but now the Obama Administration and their actions against CIA put Americans at risk. Why? Are they that anxious to appease the Far Left? Republicans understand full well of the threats we face from terrorist. Are their NO Democrats that understand or are they afraid to speak out for fear of reprisal?

1 in 5 Chicago Public High School teachers say they felt pressure to change grades last year

Portage Park teacher Jeronna Hopkins said teachers were told repeatedly not to give less than a C to special ed students. She believes it was an attempt to avoid giving kids more special ed help.

ROSALIND ROSSI & ART GOLAB

Nearly a third of Chicago public high school teachers say they were pressured to change grades this past school year.

One in five report they actually raised a grade under such prodding.

And dozens of teachers -- elementary and high school alike -- say they believe someone changed their grades last year without their approval.

Those are the results of an unprecedented survey of more than 1,200 Chicago Teachers Union members conducted by the CTU and the Chicago Sun-Times in June and July.

The findings raise serious questions about whether some of the data used to judge Chicago public schools has been inflated, artificially manipulated -- or in some cases outright altered.
The responses pulled back the curtain on the stress many teachers feel every time they sit down to issue grades.

"I am giving grades. Kids aren't earning them," said math teacher Bonnie Kayser.
'It's in the culture'

Teachers reported pressure from principals, "upset'' parents and even other CPS employees who were parents of their students. They said the squeeze was put on them to pass failing students, to give ill students a break or to help athletes. Some felt prodded to goose up grades to help kids graduate, avoid summer school or get into an elite high school.

Comment: Obama chose the Superintendent of Chicago Public Schools to be Secretary of Education and no one objected? This man should not be anywhere near the Education Department or does he plan more dumbing down of our students by giving them grades they didn't earn in the whole Country not just in Chicago? That policy doesn't help any student be successful -- hard work does. Now we know that the Annenberg Project of Ayers and Obama where they spent millions on Chicago schools was an abject failure. As a parent and former reading tutor, this disgusts me to no end to read children that need help cannot get it and ones that don't do the work get good grades because they don't want to make Chicago schools look bad. Is this more of the "Chicago Way?"

Questions Raised As To Why Connected Nation Selected In Florida Despite Costing More Than Double

from the doesn't-look-good... dept

We've already discussed how Washington DC darling Connected Nation appears more and more like a telco sponsored boondoggle to control gov't mapping mandates and collect gov't money, without having to give up real data on broadband access. But, for some reason, politicians just seem to love Connected Nation (CN). Last time I was in DC, it was all anyone was talking about concerning broadband policy. However, there are more and more questions being raised now. Apparently, Connected Nation got a big win in Florida recently, despite the fact that its bid for mapping was more than double the next runner up, ISC. Connect Florida -- a brand new "affiliate" of Connected Nation, bid $7.1 million. ISC, which is actually based in Florida and has worked with Florida gov't agencies in the past, bid $2.8 million. ISC used references for its actual work on the ground in Florida, including "the Florida Department of Health, the Florida Department of Transportation, the Florida Department of Agriculture and two local businesses, including an Economic Development Council. The ISC application also listed 11 contracts the company has with Florida state agencies." Connect Florida, on the other hand, named out-of-state references who were involved in other Connected Nation projects, raising questions about Connect Florida's understanding of the Florida market. So how did Connect Florida win?

According to sources, one of the five judges gave ISC the win, with an eight-point differential over CN. Two other judges gave CN a two-point win. One other judge gave CN a 15-point win over ISC. Yet in another curiosity, one judge gave CN a 51-point win. That judge was Bill Price, currently the broadband stimulus program manager for the state of Florida, a position he has held for the past three months. According to his profile on the Linked-In social networking site, Price was vice president for business development for BellSouth Business.

Remember how Connected Nation is really closely connected to the telcos? And a former telco exec who only recently got the state gov't job suddenly happens to rate it up massively over the second place competitor? Doesn't that at least raise some ethics questions? Perhaps there's more to it, and perhaps there are good reasons why Connect Florida is better than ISC. But it sure does seem like Florida owes the public an explanation of what those good reasons might be.

COMMENT: Why is FL paying over $4M more to a company from DC versus a company from FL that understands Florida and the needs of its citizens. Why send an extra $4M out of state. Gov Crist -- are you listening?

Union Labor Head as Czar of All U. S. Industries? – INCREDIBLE !

Canada Free Press
August 30, 2009
Jerry McConnell

Ron Bloom, former United Steelworkers Union executive, car czar, named to oversee ALL of America’s manufacturing ---

Is there anyone out there who needs any more proof that the usurper that sits illegally in the President’s chair in the Oval Office of the White House is, bit by bit, piece by piece, and day by day, in the process of totally destroying the democratic republic that once was the United States?

With 80 percent of the communications network of this country shut down, for all intents and purposes, regarding reports on anything that is not popular with that usurper, you might say that they are in his back pocket. And for him, the usurper that is, if and when he reaches his goal of making America a pawn of the corrupt and dangerous United Nations he won’t have to declare the names of the totalitarian state run news and broadcast services as they will already be in place.

ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSNBC are all completely in the bag for the socialist/communist, liberal Democrats, as directed by their Commissar of Finance, George Soros. B. Hussein Obama will be the Grand Ruler of all World territories, but only in a figurehead role just as he is today here in the United States, where he is assigned to bring the country to its knees and place it in subservience to the United Nations.

The latest example of this rule of fear and suppression was announced on August 24, 2009 by the National Right To Work Legal Defense Foundation, Inc. that Ron Bloom, former United Steelworkers Union executive, who was appointed by Obama as his “car czar” some months ago, will soon be named to oversee ALL of America’s manufacturing

COMMENTS: It is past time for the mainstream media to start telling the truth about this Administration. Why not do some investigative journalism and find out who is behind Obama besides George Soros? Who pulls the strings? When are Democrat members of Congress going to question the use of CZARS to run the Government?

The American people deserve answers and we are not getting them. We have Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) questioning the CZARs, but gets no answers from this secretive government of Obama. Our government is being run by people not subject to Senate Confirmation including one CZAR who is known Communist.

Obama Administration Announces Not Enforcing Union Reporting Laws

August 29, 2009

-By Warner Todd Huston

Are you a union member trying to find out information of the criminal actions and shady financial dealings of your union? Well don’t expect Obama and his toady in the Labor Secretary’s office, Hilda Solis, to help you uncover any illegalities perpetrated by your union bosses.

Solis’ department has just announced that it is suspending the stringent reporting requirements that labor unions must by law satisfy to assure that their financial dealings are legal and above-board. That’s right, unions have just been given a free pass for criminal actions by this president.
This is proof that political donations are the key to get away with crime. So, yes Virginia, crime does pay… at least in Obama’s Washington. Here is the notice that recently appeared on the website of the U.S. Department of Labor:

NOTE:… Accordingly, OLMS will refrain from initiating enforcement actions against union officers and union employees based solely on the failure to file the report required by section 202 of the Labor-Management and Reporting Disclosure Act (LMRDA), 29 U.S.C. § 432, using the 2007 form, as long as individuals meet their statutorily-required filing obligation in some manner. OLMS will accept either the old Form LM-30 or the new one for purposes of this non-enforcement policy.

COMMENT: Now laws are not being enforced by the Labor Department to pay back the unions that supported Obama completely? What kind of rogue Government do we have in DC now? What is happening to the Rule of Law? All good questions and no answers out of this Administration as they continue doing business the "Chicago Way.

AP IMPACT: Secret process benefits pet projects

By EILEEN SULLIVAN and MATT APUZZO, Associated Press Writers

WASHINGTON – A sleepy Montana checkpoint along the Canadian border that sees about three travelers a day will get $15 million under President Barack Obama's economic stimulus plan. A government priority list ranked the project as marginal, but two powerful Democratic senators persuaded the administration to make it happen.

Despite Obama's promises that the stimulus plan would be transparent and free of politics, the government is handing out $720 million for border upgrades under a process that is both secretive and susceptible to political influence. This allowed low-priority projects such as the checkpoint in Whitetail, Mont., to skip ahead of more pressing concerns, according to documents revealed to The Associated Press.

Associated Press: You Know, There's A Decent Chance Dems Are Politicizing Stimulus Funding

Aug 29, 20009

They're not even talking about the part where Biden bragged that he was delivering money to competitive rural districts. These stunts go way beyond the White House, presenting nice little case studies in how even the most fundamentally economic programs will inevitably get politicized by Congressional reps who are driven by self-interest and ideology and have the taxpayer money to indulge in both. File this where ever you keep "we're not going to run GM" followed by "hey, let's build green cars!"

A sleepy Montana checkpoint along the Canadian border that sees about three travelers a day will get $15 million under President Barack Obama's economic stimulus plan. Despite Obama's promises that the stimulus plan would be transparent and free of politics, the government is handing out $720 million for border upgrades under a process that is both secretive and susceptible to political influence....
The Whitetail project, which involves building a border station the size and cost of a Hollywood mansion, benefited from two key allies, Montana Sens. Max Baucus and Jon Tester. Both pressed Napolitano to finance projects in their state. Tester's office boasted of that effort in an April news release, crediting Baucus and his seat at the head of the "powerful Senate Finance Committee."...

Customs and Border Protection, the Homeland Security agency overseeing border projects, allowed the AP to review the list but will not make it public or explain its justifications for deviating from it.

Post story bolsters Cheney

Politico

The Washington Post leads today with an extraordinary story cutting against the conclusions of a series of recent government and media reports to cast as straight news -- with a few hedges and qualifications -- that waterboarding and sleep deprivation worked like a charm to turn Kalid Sheik Mohammed from an enemy into an "asset."

The story -- which seems sure to provoke an intense reaction from the many critics of President Bush's interrogation policies, and comes just before Dick Cheney's appearance, taped Friday, on Fox News Sunday -- bears all the marks of some complicated internal discussions over at the Post, which has been on the defensive since its reporting in the run up to the Iraq war. A sign of the internal focus on the piece: The story -- appearing as the paper's top story on an off day, a Saturday -- has three major bylines and just a tagline from national security reporter Walter Pincus.

The story begins:

After enduring the CIA's harshest interrogation methods and spending more than a year in the agency's secret prisons, Khalid Sheik Mohammed stood before U.S. intelligence officers in a makeshift lecture hall, leading what they called "terrorist tutorials."

In 2005 and 2006, the bearded, pudgy man who calls himself the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks discussed a wide variety of subjects, including Greek philosophy and al-Qaeda dogma. In one instance, he scolded a listener for poor note-taking and his inability to recall details of an earlier lecture.

NOTE: When the Washington Post gets it, Attorney General Holder and Obama are in trouble. Would say all but the far left support the CIA and what they have been doing to keep us safe. Why would this Administration want to give aid and comfort to our enemies? Can you imagine an agent of the CIA being subjected to prosecution by his own President's Administration over tactics that have kept America safe? That's what we are talking about with the Obama Administration as we agree with others that Holder would be fired if Obama really disagreed with the action. Another campaign promise to look forward not back has been tossed under the bus by Obama. It is getting very crowded under the bus.

From My Cold, Dead Hands (Obama and Democrat Internet Grab)

Government 'Net Grab Is Not The Path To Better Security

By Michael Tanji August 29, 2009

It was recently reported that in the Senate there is a bill, that if signed into law, would give the government control over Internet service providers and commercial computer systems during national emergencies. While I'm sure everyone's heart is in the right place, this is one idea I hope gets sent to the bit bucket.Normally in such power grabs there is at least some semblance of high ground upon which the claimant stands, so let's looks at the government's foundation:
  • The government has national and service-level cyber commands, a national cyber security center, a JTF-GNO, and a Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative . . . but it can't get a passing grade in security.
  • To oversee governmental efforts in the cyber security arena a "czar" position has been created, but the job has been open and gone begging for months. The usual suspects for such a job have all demurred because it's a job with a lot of responsibility but no authority. Just the sort of situation one should NOT be in if a cyber security emergency were declared.
  • The government doesn't run things that don't lend themselves to the bureaucratic approach well. I won't pick on any specific agency or governmental function, but writ large, when is the last time you had a fast, efficient, effective time with any government agency? The Internet is pretty much the exact opposite of a government bureaucracy, but they would presume to assume even temporary control without adverse results.

On a more basic level however, we don't have any idea of what constitutes a threat sufficient to trigger an emergency declaration. If, as a wide range of officials have noted, Internet-connected systems are being attacked thousands of times a day (or hour, depending on who you listen to), shouldn't an emergency have been declared years ago? If, in a color-coded threat-matrix sort of fashion, 'Red/Severe' is the new 'Yellow/Elevated,' when does the state of emergency end?

Excerpt: Read more at Threat'sWatch.org

NOTE: Will America please wake up NOW and realize what they have done to this Nation by putting liberal Democrats who most belong to the Socialist Party of America in charge. We are now faced with a power grab of the Internet on top of everything else. Does that mean this Administration will look at websites and decide anything conservative is dangerous like his Homeland Security Secretary did with her report which was flawed?

Like most Americans, we have NEVER seen anything like this -- NEVER. We need a return to what made America great when we worked together instead of an Administration that wants to control every aspect of our life. That is not America but then this President didn't grow up in a normal America household where on the 4th of July we honored our Country and went to see the fireworks from small towns to large cities all over America. Here is an example of how this President supports America and its heritage -- pictures speak louder then words.

Enzi: Democrats will spend more, deliver less in ObamaCare

Hot Air
August 29, 2009 10:15 am
Ed Morrissey

Mike Enzi (R-WY) has taken plenty of heat from his conservative constituents for attempting to hammer out a bipartisan health-care reform bill in the Senate. However, Enzi appears frustrated not with Wyoming voters but with the Democrats on the other side of the table. With just a few days left before Congress resumes work, Enzi blasted the Democrats for spending too much money and limiting patient choice, when what America needs is the exact opposite:

A leading GOP negotiator on health care struck a further blow to fading chances of a bipartisan compromise by saying Democratic proposals would restrict medical choices and make the country’s “finances sicker without saving you money.”

The criticism from Sen. Michael Enzi, R-Wyo., echoed that of many opponents of the Democratic plans under consideration in Congress. But Enzi’s judgment was especially noteworthy because he is one of only three Republicans who have been willing to consider a bipartisan bill in the Senate.

In the Republicans’ weekly radio and Internet address on Saturday, Enzi said any health care legislation must lower medical costs for Americans without increasing deficits and the national debt.

“The bills introduced by congressional Democrats fail to meet these standards,” he said.
Enzi called for a reform effort that pushes for increased competition, especially across state lines, and for tort reform. Not coincidentally, the GOP has a full proposal for health-care reform along those principles in the House, HR2520, introduced by Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI). The national media has completely ignored this bill, which flies in the face of Barack Obama’s accusations that his opponents want to “do nothing” about rising health-care costs. Thus far, the bill remains stuck in two House committees, Ways and Means (chaired by Charlie Rangel) and Energy and Commerce (chaired by Henry Waxman).

NOTE: Why do Democrats always have to overreach and raise the cost of anything they touch? This seems to be a familiar refrain when they are in charge -- cost the taxpayers more money, raise taxes, and give us less for our dollar. Sure hope the American people are finally waking up to the far left that is in charge in DC trying to take the Country into socialism. If you don't believe us, then start looking at what socialist do -- nationalize private industry. Oil and gas is in their targets but not going to happen. American voters with the help of ACORN and the media elected a person to be President that we know nothing about except what is in his books which are suspect. His experience is almost nil. Community organizing is not a resume builder for President and neither is voting Present in the IL Senate.

The president can fire the attorney general

NOTE: The last paragraph in the article by Michael Barone says it all: "If Barack Obama really meant it when he said that he didn’t want to see prosecutions of CIA interrogators for acts committed long ago, for which they were cleared long ago, he has a ready alternative: he can give Eric Holder the same treatment Harry Truman gave J. Howard McGrath."

The president can fire the attorney general

Obama administration spokesmen are portraying the president as unable to overrule Attorney General Eric Holder’s decision to have a special prosecutor determine whether to prosecute CIA interrogators who were cleared by Department of Justice career attorneys back in 2004. “This was not something the White House allowed, this was something the AG decided,” a White House spokesman said.
Utter nonsense.
The attorney general serves at the pleasure of the president, and the president can determine that a prosecution would undermine the national security—a subject on which he has a wider perspective and a greater responsibility than the attorney general—and order that it not go forward.

Bill would give president emergency control of Internet

by Declan McCullagh

Internet companies and civil liberties groups were alarmed this spring when a U.S. Senate bill proposed handing the White House the power to disconnect private-sector computers from the Internet.

They're not much happier about a revised version that aides to Sen. Jay Rockefeller, a West Virginia Democrat, have spent months drafting behind closed doors. CNET News has obtained a copy of the 55-page draft of S.773 (excerpt), which still appears to permit the president to seize temporary control of private-sector networks during a so-called cybersecurity emergency.

The new version would allow the president to "declare a cybersecurity emergency" relating to "non-governmental" computer networks and do what's necessary to respond to the threat. Other sections of the proposal include a federal certification program for "cybersecurity professionals," and a requirement that certain computer systems and networks in the private sector be managed by people who have been awarded that license.

"I think the redraft, while improved, remains troubling due to its vagueness," said Larry Clinton, president of the Internet Security Alliance, which counts representatives of Verizon, Verisign, Nortel, and Carnegie Mellon University on its board. "It is unclear what authority Sen. Rockefeller thinks is necessary over the private sector. Unless this is clarified, we cannot properly analyze, let alone support the bill."

NOTE: This should be frightening to all Americans to put this kind of power in the President's hand especially when this President has so little experience and is taking this Nation toward Socialism. Why are the Democrats in such a rush to take control away from the American citizens? Makes no sense unless they want a socialist country which is not going to happen as long as we have Middle America where we understand what Freedom is all about. Inside the beltway major media types don't seem to have a clue about this Administration and how they are going way left since they are left themselves and have let their own feelings substitute for investigative journalism.

The Crime Fighter Versus the Corruption Enabler

Town Hall
Donald Lambro
August 27, 2009

WASHINGTON -- Democrat Jon Corzine won the governorship of New Jersey four years ago pledging to bring needed change to a state defined by corruption and the highest property taxes in the country.

And four years later, things did change. The state's Democratic political establishment became more corrupt than ever and its tax burdens heavier than before, in part owing to a pay-to-play culture of corruption the governor did little to combat and a bunch of new fees and taxes that Corzine enacted in the midst of the recession.

Then along came U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie for the district of New Jersey, a beefy, crime-fighting paladin who promptly began filling up the state's prisons with scores of crooked politicians, including mayors, lawmakers and other elected and public officials.

Christie soon became the most famous crime fighter in the state and a breath of fresh air to its dispirited voters, and polls were showing the New Jersey Republican leading Corzine by double digits. He resigned his post in December and began a campaign to clean up Trenton, rebuild the state's battered economy through lower taxes, and enact a new code of stringent ethical reforms throughout the government.

But before Christie stepped down, he had won convictions or guilty pleas from 130 public officials and had put in place a massive, statewide investigative net that last month snared another 44 public officials -- with more arrests likely to come.

The latest arrests couldn't have come at a worse time for Corzine. They showed that statewide corruption ran deeper than even the most cynical observers had feared and that the only political solution was to install a reform government determined to clean house.

Christie doesn't mince words when he talks about who bears the lion's share of the blame, placing it squarely on the governor's doorstep.

According to New York Times story, Christie considers Corzine an "obvious bystander," an "enabler" of corruption and "the No. 1 financier of corrupt politicians and county bosses in New Jersey."

NOTE: Typical crooked Dem -- attack with lies not facts and hope to get reelected so he can continue to take care of his buddies. Hopefully, New Jersey has had a wake-up call to Corzine and the corruptness he oversees in New Jersey.

Is DOJ being politicized by AG Holder and Pres Obama?

UPDATE: When are we going to hear about Holder launching an investigation in Rep Rangel? Charlie Rangel, the Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, the group that writes the tax law, admitted that his financial disclosure forms omitted about half his net worth. Most of that missed net worth comes in the form of one Town House worth about one million dollars. Among other scandals Rangel has faced this year, was his ownership of FOUR rent controlled apartments... http://www.nypost.com/php/pfriendly/print.php?url=http://www.nypost.com/seven/08282009/news/regionalnews/oops__charlie_forgot_this_1m_house_186849.htm

That is a question Americans should be starting to ask. Is this DOJ out of control after only seven (7) months in office? Is their agenda to protect Obama supporters/donors and go after the people they perceive as their enemies aka Republicans?

The latest action by the DOJ higher ups to "kill" the criminal investigation against Gov Richardson and his staff without the knowledge of the US Attorney in NM, gives credence to the Obama DOJ heading toward being one of the most politicized ever. Considering that we had the Clintons for eight years that is saying a lot. However, that should not come as a shock as Holder came out of the Clinton Administration so he learned all about corruptness and how to protect your friends and attack your enemies from the Masters of Deception.

Yesterday, Holder hired a special prosecutor to investigate the CIA interrogators to determine if their interrogations were criminal? These terrorist wanted to kill all of us so I see nothing wrong with any interrogation that will lead to the discovery of their plans to harm us. This Administration and the political DOJ now want to satisfy their far left base by going the CIA agents who have been the leaders in protecting Americans from terrorist attacks. This comes after Obama said this Administration would look forward not back but what difference is a promise when it comes to Obama. Guess that was just something for him to say to get elected. If anyone thinks that Obama is not behind this, I have swampland for sale in Arizona.

Earlier in the month charges of voter intimidation against the New Black Panther members in Philadelphia were dropped against the advise of senior DOJ personnel. Can we expect the New Black Panthers intimidating votes in more areas after this since the DOJ under Holder gave them a walk and blank check to do what they want?

Then we have the DOJ and Holder threatening Oklahoma with withholding funds on their English Only ballot issue. We would have bet in November after the results of the election were announced that the Great State of Oklahoma where every County voted for McCain and only gave Obama 34% would be a prime target by this Administration even though the Democrat Governor is a huge Obama supporter. Sure enough DOJ comes after Oklahoma on the ballot issue for "English Only." Learned yesterday they have backed off for now, but for how long? Bet they don't like the OK ballot issue to require picture ID to vote either.

We are sure there are many more instances we could find to the support asking the question about politicizing the DOJ, but these four over the last month jump out what is happening. Guess we can assume that AG Holder is going to be investigating Cong Rangel (D-NY) next after all the new information that has come out? Since he has a "D" after his name, we expect crickets will continue to chirp as nothing is done.

With the number of Obama appointees with tax and ethics problems, we should not be surprised at anything out of the DOJ. If Republicans had the amount of problems as the Democrat appointees, none of them would ever be confirmed. We are learning rapidly when the Democrats are accusing the Republicans of doing something, it is exactly what the Democrats are doing.

Obama said he would have the most transparent Administration, but it is becoming perfectly clear that is not the case like so many of his campaign promises that have been thrown under the bus. Wonder how many people are on the enemies list of this White House?

We have excerpted the information from the four cases we highlighted to show the politicization of the DOJ in the Obama Administration. We are convinced that AG Holder or his people at DOJ will not take a step without Obama and Soros approval. Read and judge for yourself if this DOJ is being politicized in favor of the liberal Democrats.

Richardson Probe 'Was Killed in Washington'

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and former high-ranking members of his administration won't be criminally charged in a federal investigation into pay-to-play allegations.

SANTA FE, N.M. -- New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and former high-ranking members of his administration won't be criminally charged in a yearlong federal investigation into pay-to-play allegations involving one of the Democratic governor's large political donors, someone familiar with the case said.

The decision not to pursue indictments was made by top Justice Department officials, according to a person familiar with the investigation, who asked not to be identified because federal officials had not disclosed results of the probe.
"It's over. There's nothing. It was killed in Washington," the person told The Associated Press.

EXCLUSIVE: No. 3 at Justice OK'd Panther reversal

Associate Attorney General Thomas J. Perrelli, the No. 3 official in the Obama Justice Department, was consulted and ultimately approved a decision in May to reverse course and drop a civil complaint accusing three members of the New Black Panther Party of intimidating voters in Philadelphia during November's election, according to interviews.

The department's career lawyers in the Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division who pursued the complaint for five months had recommended that Justice seek sanctions against the party and three of its members after the government had already won a default judgment in federal court against the men.
Front-line lawyers were in the final stages of completing that work when they were unexpectedly told by their superiors in late April to seek a delay after a meeting between political appointees and career supervisors, according to federal records and interviews.

The delegation sent a letter to Holder on Tuesday questioning why his Civil Rights division sent a letter to Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson in the midst of the English-only debate reminding him that state entities receiving federal funds have to observe certain laws regarding people with limited proficiency in English.

USPS, Unions Announce Separation Plan

In what could save the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) $500 million next year, USPS is offering $15,000 bonuses to eligible employees who elect to retire or separate before the end of Fiscal Year 2009, the Postal Service announced Aug. 25. USPS negotiated the separation incentive plan with the American Postal Workers Union (APWU) and the National Postal Mail Handlers Union as part of an effort to accelerate staffing reductions for employees represented by the unions. As many as 30,000 employees could take advantage of the incentive offer, USPS said.

NOTE: They reached an agreement with the Unions? One of the most inefficient union organizations of Government is only now offering incentives to leave. Our tax dollars at work! Guess with the Government, the term lay-off is not in their vocabulary.

A communist in the White House

Ronald Radosh explores the case of Van Jones. Jones is Obama's green jobs "czar" (his formal title is Special Advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality). As green jobs "czar," Jones's responsibility is to coordinate the stimulus spending to assure that a hefty portion of it goes to projects that promote green energy.

In his relatively recent past Jones was a Marxist revolutionary. From 1992 until 2002, Jones was a member of a radical communist group that was dedicated to "organizing a revolutionary movement in America." Does Jones remain a Marxist revolutionary today?

The White House has declined to provide a straight answer to the question. We will accordingly assume that, in Jones's case, "commissar" would be more like it.

UPDATE: A commenter points out that Jones is not a "czar," but rather an "adviser." The Wall Street Journal distinguished between the job titles here in the case of Jones. Does the title of Obama administration "czar" have formal legal contours? The Chicago Tribune asks: how many czars are there? In any event, I think commissar is the more appropriate honorific, and Victor Davis Hanson makes the case that the Marxist spirit pervades the White House.

To read more like this, visit Powerline Blog

NOTE: The Obama administration appoints a special prosecutor on the CIA, but has all these Czars who are not subject to Senate confirmation skate. WHERE is the Administration getting money to pay these CZARS or whatever they call people not subject to Senate confirmation? They each earn $182,000 a year with a staff of 10 and there are well over 30 of them. Yet, he only has not come close to filling all the political appointees subject to Senate Confirmation. WHY?

OBAMA GOES AFTER CIA TO GAIN COVER ON THE LEFT

UPDATE:

KARL ROVE: Well and that’s another thing, rather than taking responsibility upon his own shoulders and saying there will be a Justice Department investigation led by people that I name who will be responsible to me, he’s putting it in the hands of a special prosecutor so he can wash his hands of it and not be held responsible for it. Again I do not use the word “cowardly” loosely, I use it advisedly, but this is cowardly on both the part of the White House and on the part of Attorney General Holder and its irresponsible o the part of both.

OBAMA GOES AFTER CIA TO GAIN COVER ON THE LEFT

By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN

Published on DickMorris.com on August 27, 2009

After vowing not to become involved in recriminations over the Bush anti-terror policies, President Obama has allowed his Attorney General Eric Holder to appoint a special prosecutor to dig up all the dirt he can find on the CIA and the anti-terror investigators whose aggressive questioning saved us from countless attacks.

Why the switch? Because Obama needs to do something to appease the left that elected him. After refusing to pull out of Iraq and deciding to follow the Bush timetable for withdrawing and staying in Afghanistan and likely having to beef up our presence there, liberals might be wondering why they elected Obama. After all, his opposition to the war in Iraq and his criticism of the Bush anti-terror policies were the hallmarks of his campaign in 2008.

And, on the domestic front, Obama likely realizes that he may have to pull in his horns on health care and accept some sort of compromise which may not endear him to his constituency.

So he has decided to throw a few CIA interrogators to the wolves.

The report that Holder released to accompany his decision to name a special prosecutor itself showed the trivial nature of the charges against these patriotic anti-terror investigators.

Among the allegations prominently featured in the report is that the mastermind of the attack on the USS Cole was scrubbed with a rough brush in the bath so as to cause him pain. Our heartless interrogators also threatened that they could bring in his family and parents for questioning. How do these "tortures" compare with the deaths of more than a dozen American sailors roasted to death in flames or drowned in the sea?

The CIA report, also released on Monday, demonstrates, within the limits that secrecy allows, how these very interrogations thwarted serious terrorist plots against our country.

Would the public agree that if we had bin Laden in custody that it would be wrong to scrub him with a harsh brush? Or to threaten to involve his family? Or to press his carotid artery until he was on the verge of passing out? If such techniques could have averted the deaths of 3,000 Americans on 9-11, would we not all have sanctioned them?

But Obama needs political cover so he is creating a three ring circus for the media by naming a special prosecutor to conduct a likely leaky investigation designed to throw dirt at the CIA. The exposures he is likely to make will dominate the headlines even as Obama disingenuously retreats from his campaign commitments on Iraq and on foreign policy in general. And, the investigation may even make enough noise to permit a retreat on health care. We hope so.

NOTE: Check out Dick Morris' Blog/ to see more articles like this that tell the truth about this Administration and the Democrats. No one knows the inside of the Democrat Party and how they work better then Dick Morris. Obama is following the Democrat Playbook when you are losing on one agenda item throw in something with a little, very little, red meat. Once again, Obama has misjudged the American people especially in Middle America who appreciate the CIA and what they have done to keep us safe. Obama pandering to the far left has been duly noted.

Charlie Rangel discloses $660K more in assets

By JOHN BRESNAHAN 8/25/09 8:05 PM EDT

New financial disclosure reports filed by Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) show that the veteran lawmaker failed to report more than $660,000 in assets during 2007, a potential violation of House ethics rules.

New financial disclosure reports filed by Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) show that the veteran lawmaker failed to report more than $660,000 in assets during 2007, a potential violation of House ethics rules.

Rangel, chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, also had previously stated that he sold a Florida condominium in 2007, but an amended report covering that year – filed in mid-August – now makes no mention of that transaction. It appears that Rangel no longer owns the condo as it is not listed on his 2008 financial report, filed last month.

The latest revelations on Rangel’s personal finances may prove problematic for the New York Democrat, who is already the target of a wide-ranging ethics investigation. That probe, which Rangel and House Democratic leaders had hoped would last a few months, is now coming up on its one-year anniversary.

The ethics panel is looking into Rangel’s use of several rent-stabilized apartments in a luxury Harlem apartment building, his failure to fully pay taxes on a vacation home in the Dominican Republic, and the lawmaker’s fundraising on behalf of the Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service at City College in New York City.

The ethics committee recently broadened the Rangel investigation to include Caribbean trips taken by Rangel and four other lawmakers. The panel is seeking to determine if the trips complied with the House’s ban on corporate-funded travel.

Rangel has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, but the new financial-disclosure reports for 2007 show at least $662,000 in previously undeclared assets held by the lawmaker.

These assets include several “empty” lots in Glassboro, N.J., valued at more than $3,000; a stock fund worth at least $250,000; an IRA account with more than $250,000 in assets; and investment fund account worth between $50,000 and $100,000.

NOTE: In 2006 and 2008, the Democrats talked about corruption in the Republican Party. One glaring difference is that Republicans resigned that were under the microscope. Rangel is still in Congress from NY with all these revelations. Is the House Ethics Committee going to do anything or is that reserved for Republicans. This man has frauded the taxpayers but no one seems to care on the Dem side of the House. Yesterday it was the Finance Chair of the Dem Senatorial Committee charged fraud. Dems are living up to the mantra that they are for sale to the highest bidder.

Who is Behind Color of Change?

Color of Change.org
Color of change.org is strengthening Black America's political voice

They are on the attack against Fox's Glenn Beck as their featured campaign is Stop Glenn Beck's race baiting. Fox's Glenn Beck recently said President Obama is "a racist" and has a "deep-seated hatred for white people." Beck is on a campaign to convince the American public that President Obama's agenda is about serving the needs of Black communities at White people's expense. It's repulsive, divisive and shouldn't be on the air.

One small little question -- How could have Obama sat in a black church with Rev Wright who preached "Hate Whitey" and not feel the same way? Did he try to change Rev Wright. No -- he just threw him under the bus when the heat in the kitchen got too hot during the campaign and all of a sudden he was never there when Rev Wright let lose on whites. If you believe that, I have swapland for sale in Arizona.

Below you will find the people who are behind the attacks on Glenn Beck:

'08 race worker held in damage to Colorado Democratic HQ

The Denver Post

One of two people suspected of shattering 11 windows Tuesday morning at the state Democratic Party headquarters has an arrest record and a history of helping a Democratic political candidate, public records show.

Police said that about 2:20 a.m., 24-year-old Maurice Schwenkler, now in custody, and an at-large accomplice took a hammer to the picture windows displaying posters touting President Barack Obama and his health care reform efforts.
Early Tuesday, Democratic Party chairwoman Pat Waak said the damage to her building in Denver's art district was a consequence of "an effort on the other side to stir up hate." She tempered her statement after Schwenkler's political history was revealed.

"What I've been saying is there is a lot of rhetoric out there from both sides of the spectrum," Waak said. "That's what's been disturbing to me. People are saying a lot of things not appropriate for civil discourse."
For weeks, people on both sides of the health care debate have rallied across the country.

Schwenkler is charged with criminal mischief and is to make his first appearance in Denver County Court today.

He is accused of doing an estimated $11,000 in damage and could face a felony conviction.

On the last day of the 2008 Republican National Convention, he was charged with misdemeanor unlawful assembly in St. Paul, Minn.

Court records provided through the St. Paul Pioneer Press show he was jailed about 2 a.m.

Schwenkler received $500 in November 2008 to walk door-to-door in support of Democrat Mollie Cullom, who lost her race to Republican state Rep. David Balmer of Centennial.

Waak, who was not involved with the group that paid Schwenkler, said she's never heard of the suspect and pointed out that just because he canvassed "doesn't mean he's a good Democrat."

Schwenkler was one of dozens of paid canvassers bankrolled by the Colorado Citizens' Coalition, a political 527 committee

Schwenkler has worked for Democratic causes. (Denver Police Department )funded by labor groups and well-known, wealthy liberal donors.

Democrat] Hassan Nemazee arrested and charged with bank fraud

BNO News
August 25,2009

NEW YORK CITY (BNO NEWS) -- Hassan Nemazee, CEO of Nemazee Capital and former Finance Chairman to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, was arrested and charged with bank fraud on Tuesday, prosecutors said.

According to officials, Nemazee engaged in a fraudulent scheme to induce Citibank to lend him up to $74 million based on false representations that he owned millions of dollars in collateral. Nemazee submitted numerous documents that purported to establish the existence of accounts in his name at various financial institutions containing many hundreds of millions of dollars. In fact, those were fraudulent and forged documents, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in New York.

The documents that Nemazee submitted to Citi were for accounts that either never existed or had been closed years before. Further, on many of the documents he falsely provided addresses and telephone numbers of various financial institutions purportedly vouching for his financial strength which were in fact controlled by Nemazee.

As a result of the false information, in the event anyone at Citibank made an effort to confirm the existence of the assets reflected on the fraudulent documents submitted by Nemazee, they would in fact be contacting a telephone number assigned to Nemazee himself, and not any financial institution.

Last Sunday, federal agents interviewed Nemazee at Newark Liberty International Airport as he was in the process of checking in for a flight to Rome, Italy. On the afternoon of August 24, Nemazee repaid his outstanding loan to Citibank, an amount in excess of $74 million.

Nemazee, who is 59 years old, currently has homes in both Manhattan and Katonah, New York. He has been charged with one count of bank fraud, which carries a maximum prison term of 30 years and a maximum fine of $1,000,000 or twice the gain or loss resulting from the crime.

Nemazee is expected to be presented in Manhattan federal court before United States Magistrate Judge Ronald L. Ellis on Tuesday afternoon.

U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Preet Bharara, praised the investigative work of the FBI and said the investigation is continuing.

Besides being CEO at Nemazee Capital and being the former Finance Chairman for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, he also donated the maximum amount of $50,000 to Barack Obama's presidential inaugural committee.

Nemazee was also a major contributor to John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004 and served as his New York Finance Chair. He currently also serves as the national finance chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

In 1999, former President Clinton nominated Nemazee to be ambassador to Argentina but he withdrew his name amid questions in the U.S. Senate about his fund-raising and business record.

Assistant United States Attorneys John M. Hillebrecht and Daniel W. Levy are in charge of the prosecution.

Cheney Statement on CIA Documents/Investigation

Former Vice President Dick Cheney gave The Weekly Standard a statement Monday night about the CIA documents and the coming Justice Department investigation:

"The documents released Monday clearly demonstrate that the individuals subjected to Enhanced Interrogation Techniques provided the bulk of intelligence we gained about al Qaeda. This intelligence saved lives and prevented terrorist attacks. These detainees also, according to the documents, played a role in nearly every capture of al Qaeda members and associates since 2002. The activities of the CIA in carrying out the policies of the Bush Administration were directly responsible for defeating all efforts by al Qaeda to launch further mass casualty attacks against the United States. The people involved deserve our gratitude. They do not deserve to be the targets of political investigations or prosecutions. President Obama’s decision to allow the Justice Department to investigate and possibly prosecute CIA personnel, and his decision to remove authority for interrogation from the CIA to the White House, serves as a reminder, if any were needed, of why so many Americans have doubts about this Administration’s ability to be responsible for our nation’s security."

GOP Principles for Health Care

Note: For months the Democrat House Leadership have continued to ignore what Republicans have to say on healthcare. They are not interested in anything but their own agenda (Obamacare) to take over Government control of our healthcare system and if you oppose them, you are called names.

GOP Chair, Michael Steele with this column in the Wash Post is taking the debate to the America people. Please visit the Wash Post and read Michael Steel's entire article and see if you agree with a lot of us that his ideas are sound and what is needed. If you agree, contact your Representative and Senators and ask them to consider these GOP Principles for Health Care before voting on Obamacare. S.

GOP Principles for Health Care

By Michael S. SteeleMonday, August 24, 2009

Americans are engaged in a critical debate over reforming our health-care system. While Republicans believe that reforms are necessary, President Obama's plan for a government-run health-care system is the wrong prescription. The Democrats' plan will hurt American families, small businesses and health-care providers by raising care costs, increasing the deficit, and not allowing patients to keep a doctor or insurance plan of their choice. Furthermore, under the Democrats' plan, senior citizens will pay a steeper price and will have their treatment options reduced or rationed.

Obama White House v. CIA; Panetta Threatened to Quit

Update - 8/26/09 - Red State is Reporting that Panetta will be resigning as CIA Director from reliable sources.

Late Breaking News! ATTORNEY GENERAL ERIC HOLDER WILL APPOINT PROSECUTOR TO INVESTIGATE ALLEGED CIA ABUSES

Tensions Lead to CIA Director's "Screaming Match" at the White House

By MATTHEW COLE, RICHARD ESPOSITO and BRIAN ROSS
August 24, 2009

A "profanity-laced screaming match" at the White House involving CIA Director Leon Panetta, and the expected release today of another damning internal investigation, has administration officials worrying about the direction of its newly-appoint intelligence team, current and former senior intelligence officials tell ABC News.com.

"You can expect a larger than normal turnover in the next year," a senior adviser to Obama on intelligence matters told ABCNews.com.

Since 9/11, the CIA has had five directors or acting directors.

A White House spokesperson, Denis McDonough, said reports that Panetta had threatened to quit and that the White House was seeking a replacement were "inaccurate."

According to intelligence officials, Panetta erupted in a tirade last month during a meeting with a senior White House staff member. Panetta was reportedly upset over plans by Attorney General Eric Holder to open a criminal investigation of allegations that CIA officers broke the law in carrying out certain interrogation techniques that President Obama has termed "torture."

NOTE: This is what you get when you elect someone who has Zero experience. From the time Obama won the Senate seat he was running for President and not learning about about how our Government works. His Constitutional Law classes were more about sports then the Law.

Thank you Director Panetta for standing up to Attorney General Holder.

Holder had charges dropped of voter intimidation and threats by the New Black Panther party but now wants to go after our CIA officers? They go after CIA agents doing their job and let the thugs go free. This Administration is spirraling out of control.

Is this one of those "Follow the Money?" Who is behind Holder going after the CIA agents and dropping charges against the New Black Panthers?

Obama's Big Bang Could Go Bust!

Politico.com ^ August 24, 2009 Mike Allen and Jim Vandehei

Barack Obama’s Big Bang is beginning to backfire, as his plans for rapid, once-in-a-generation overhauls of energy, financial regulation and health care are running into stiff resistance, both in Washington and around the country.

The Obama theory was simple, though always freighted with risk: Use a season of economic anxiety to enact sweeping changes the public likely wouldn’t stomach in ordinary times. But the abrupt swing in the public’s mood, from optimism about Obama’s possibility to concern he may be overreaching, has thrown the White House off its strategy and forced the president to curtail his ambitions.

Some Democrats point to a decision in June as the first vivid sign of trouble for Obama. These Democrats say the White House, in retrospect, made a grievous mistake by muscling conservative Democrats in swing districts to vote for a cap-and-trade energy bill that was very unpopular among their constituents.

(Excerpt) Read more at politico.com ...

NOTE: We highlighted the fact that Minority Leader Boehner had to read a huge portion of the Cap and Trade bill on the floor of the House because members of the House did not get the bill in time before the vote to read what was in the bill. YET, eight (8) Republicans voted for the bill (never understood why), 44 Democrats were allowed by Pelosi to vote against the bill to satisfy constituents back home, but if she needed their votes they would have voted with their "Leader" as they have been doing starting in 2008 when they all went liberal on key conservative issues. The dictator of the House rammed this bill through that they didn't read like so many others and now they are paying a price.

We will be identifying the Blue Dogs that only vote with Republicans when they are allowed by their "Leader" to try and scam the voters in 2010 they are conservative. Not going to work this time around!

In November 2010 we have the opportunity to send these Democrat frauds that voted the liberal Pelosi to be Speaker twice to the Unemployment lines so they can mingle with the American people they are calling names. Start with the Blue Dogs that scammed voters they were conservative and elect fiscal conservatives to STOP this takeover of the American economy by the White House and Congressional Democrats.

AARP ramps up support for ObamaCare with TV/Radio ads

NOTE: AARP looks to be lying in their Townhalls. Guess their non-endorsement of Obamacare is kind of like Bill Clinton's the meaning of the word "is" as anyone running ads like AARP is endorsing Obamacare no matter what they say! Received the following email a short time ago:

AARP ramps up support for ObamaCare with TV/Radio ads
August 24, 2009

Dear Sharon,

Although the AARP says it is not "officially" endorsing President Obama's healthcare reform, it is conducting a huge and costly television ad campaign in support of ObamaCare and hosted the president at an online forum recently to promote his agenda to AARP members.

On its website, AARP says, "We share the President's commitment to act this year…" and "We look forward to working with leaders of both parties, including the President…"
Related Story: AARP officials walk out of meeting, refuse questions concerning ObamaCare from angry seniors

AARP even developed a dedicated website to help promote the president's agenda. See this national television ad by AARP using scare tactics to promote ObamaCare. The website states specifically states, "AARP members will visit their representatives and senators in their district offices and attend events in support of health care reform."

FOX News network reported about 60,000 seniors have quit AARP since July 1 due to the group's support for health care reform.

Video: RNC Chairman Steele to Democrats -- DO IT!

youtube/JasonTcpa ^ August 20, 2009 sickoflibs

Question to Steele : “What do you think about democrats trying to get something through on health care using reconciliation so they don’t have to get the 60 votes. What do you think about that?”

RNC Chairman Steele’s Answer: “Do it. Have you looked at the numbers? We’re down 20 in the Senate, 78 in the House. Don’t come up in my face talking about I’m an obstacle and we are blocking this process.

You got the votes Mr. President, PASS THE BILL. Call (democrat chairman) congressman Ross who got the bill out of committee and get it to the floor. Up or down baby. Put it on the table.

And you you don’t think you have 60 votes in the Senate; you have the nuclear option, do 51 votes (reconciliation).

Remember they wanted to do this in two weeks. They wanted to have this thing signed, sealed and delivered to the president’s desk by July 31. They could have done it, Why didn’t they? I’m waiting. You got the votes.

So all this pushback on republicans, that ‘We’re the party of NO. We’re creating the obstacles. We’re not playing fair were not being bipartisan’. You got the voters. In Washington it’s all about whose got the votes. You want it done. Pass the bill. But they know it’s poisonous and they know the American people won’t tolerate it. And their scrambling now and turning on each other because they have a big political problem and they can’t solve it”

At :RNC Chairman Michael Steele in Little Rock, AR Part 2

NOTE: If Democrats have the votes why not follow GOP Chair Michael Steele's "DO IT" instead of blaming Republicans when the GOP doesn't have enough votes to stop this takeover of the Healthcare system by the Obama Administration. Ironic the Dems pushed for 60 votes to pass legislation like this when Republicans were in charge of the Senate, Republicans never used the nuclear option, so now the Democrats who have lined their pockets with donations to pass this bill now want to do the nuclear option and only require 51 votes. Every Republican, Independent, and Conservative Democrat needs to be telling the Democrats in Congress "DO IT!"

Garofalo: Tea Party Protesters 'Functionally Retarded'; 'I Want My Country Back' Code for Racism

Newsbusters
August 22, 2009
Jeff Poor

You probably already knew Jeanane Garofalo was no fan of conservatives, Republicans or just about anything that could be described as right of center. But the former Air America host and MSNBC regular really has a low regard for conservative activists. In an appearance at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. on Aug. 21, Garofalo ripped into tea party protesters, or what some of the wizards of smart on the left have deemed "tea baggers" calling them "functionally retarded adults" and "racists."

...more (w/video)...

(Excerpt) Read more at newsbusters.org ...

NOTE: UPDATE: OOPS! Mixed up the actress Garofalo with the person who testified to the 9/11 Commission Gorelick. The part in parenthesis does not pertain to Garofalo but to Gorelick-- shows how little I pay attention to Hollywood. Guess I figured that the person calling us retarded and racist would have some credibility. (This from Garofalo that was found to have misled (lied) to the 9/11 Commission? The same person who stopped communication under Clinton on intelligence matters between the agencies that led to 9/11 not being discovered?) She has the audacity to call people who don't agree with this Administration Retarded and Racist?

Let's get this straight as it is happening more and more. If we disagree with Obama on any issue it is because we are 'racist' and not because we don't like his agenda? I personally don't care if the President is purple if he treats the Office of Presidency with respect and has an agenda that is best for this Country. Apologizing all over the world for America, and being cozy with dictators while attacking our allies is WRONG!

This crap of calling people racist because they disagree is beyond disgusting and shows that is the only argument they have is to call people names. They defend the President by calling us names not by defending his agenda. I have two words for Democrats that cry racist on people that happen to disagree with Obama's agenda -- GROW UP!

We now have the Governor of NY Patterson saying it is racism that people don't want him to run again. This time it cannot be blamed on Republicans. I can guarantee you that every Republican wants him to run for Governor again. Do we hear the media and the Democrats like Garofalo screaming racist against the Democrats going after Patterson? Crickets chirping once again. I guess by those standards only Republicans can be called 'racist?'

Ms. Garofalo and others who are yelling racist because we don't like Obama's agenda need to remember the words of a great man who understood and whose life was cut short too soon.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. Martin Luther King excerpts from his I Have a Dream speech.

We have elected a black President which was historic but one of the first statements at an early meeting was "I Won." That wasn't the last as his arrogance has taken over. He promised to reach out across the aisle but he didn't. People opposing him in the campaign were called 'racist' and that wasn't true at all. Most of us could care less about the color of a person's skin that runs for any office because we care about the character and the agenda of the person. Former Cong J. C. Watts was elected in a 90% white district in Oklahoma and would still be in Congress if he had wanted to stay. Those same people that elected JC were called racist by some Democrats in the last election that didn't support Obama.

I, along with many Americans, don't vote for people because of the color of their skin, but the character and ideology. When I vote for President or any office, I want to know the background of the person I am voting for but in the case of this President, we were told very little about his 'true' background but instead were encouraged to read two of his "biographies" which look to have been ghost written. Many of the items in the first book have been proved to be false. So what did the media investigate about Obama so we knew his background and character? Very little except what the Obama campaign wanted people to know.

Maybe the liberals are the ones that should go back and read all of Dr. King's speeches. Dr. King had a dream for America and so did President Reagan with his speech about "The Shining City Upon a Hill" -- both men offered hope for everyone. Maybe it is time the current Administration understood we are all Americans and one Freedom that is dear to all of our hearts is the Freedom of Speech guaranteed us by the Constitution. We have a right to disagree on the agenda of our elected officials without being called names.

Obama Staffers Profit from Obama Health Care Plan (Axelrod consulting firm gets big contracts)

It turns out that President Barack "Change" Obama isn't changing things that much after all. At least not for David Axelfod, who appears to be playing the classic Washington insider's game for fun and profit....

While Axelrod worked behind the scenes to craft policy that would lead to a government overhaul of the medical industry, his firm in Chicago lobbied special interest groups to earn massive media contracts that would help dictate political discourse during the debate.... Obama's efforts to push his health care reform agenda have created a "financial windfall in the election offseason to Democratic consulting firms that are closely connected" to the President and Axelrod....

Axelrod ....will draw $2 million from the firm over the next four years.

NOTE: Democrats pulled their scam in 2006 and 2008 that the Republicans were the Party of Corruption while pretending to be squeaky clean knowing full well it was a lie. Sad part is that voters not only bought their scam about corruption but bought their scam that Blue Dogs were Conservative. At best there may be one or two fairly Conservative Blue Dogs but a 72 ACU rating is not a conservative. The MODERATE to LIBERAL label applies to most of them.

Right now there are 15 Ethics violations in the Congress being investigated and 11 of them are Democrats. I expect any Republican who is guilty to resign immediately. As we saw with Cong Rangle, nothing ever happens to Democrats when they break the rules/law. It is OK -- to be expected -- he didn't understand the rules/law. If that is the case, then maybe it is time for him to resign if after all his years in office since he doesn't understand, because he should have them memorized. What a crock.

Then we have the long list of people in this Administration that didn't see the necessity of filing and paying their income tax. How did they get by with it all those years when IRS comes after the Middle Class to audit?

What do you think would have happened if Karl Rove had done this? Every major news outlet in the Country would have been leading off their news and headlines in the paper with the story. In my life I have never seen such blantant disregard for the truth when it comes to this Administration by not only the mainstream media but by some local media outlets that cannot think for themselves. Every last media outlet should be shouting at the top of their lungs for an investigation. What do we have? Crickets chirping.

Republicans Say Democrats are Censoring More GOP Mail

Roll Call August 21, 2009 Jackie Kucinich

House Republicans this week accused Democrats of censoring GOP mailings to constituents on a variety of subjects and of imposing uneven requirements on the minority party’s mail.

Democrats on the franking commission — which must approve all official mail — have blocked Republicans from using politically weighted descriptions of climate change legislation, the stimulus bill and other issues, according to e-mails obtained by Roll Call.

Rep. John Culberson (R-Texas) said he went through seven drafts of his last newsletter, which included language about energy policy.

“It’s embarrassing and unsupportable,” Culberson said, adding that requests for approval used to take a matter of days instead of weeks.

Several e-mails between Member offices and franking commission staff obtained by Roll Call show that a number of recent GOP mail pieces were initially denied in part because they used the phrase “cap and tax” to describe the American Clean Energy and Security Act. The bill would establish a cap on carbon emissions, allowing companies that cannot meet the cap to buy offsets from other companies that emit less than their share, otherwise known as cap-and-trade. Republicans argue the measure amounts to a broad tax on consumers.

NOTE: It is Cap and TAX for anyone who can read and comprehend. This is reprehensible on the part of the Democrat Cartel running the House. My Congressman should be allowed to say what he wants in an email to me without censorship by House Democrat spies -- don't know what else you could call them as they are all about stopping email between Republican Congressman and their constituents. Wish they would try it in the Senate -- would love to see them do it to Senator Inhofe and see the fireworks that would follow. Every constituent in this Country should be outraged at the censorship of the Democrat Cartel in the House. Pelosi acts like a dictator as she issues her orders and people jump.

This is the same Nancy Pelosi who after becoming Speaker of the House went to Syria to visit Assad whose government supports the terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbelloh.

White House Reveals Identity of Firm that Sent Unsolicited E-Mails on Health Reform (GovDelivery.com)

8/22/09 Major Garrett and Eric Shawn of Fox News

The White House hired a private communications company based in Minnesota to distribute mass e-mails, helping to shed light on how some recipients received e-mails in support of President Obama's health care plan without signing up for them, FOX News has learned.

The company, Govdelivery, describes itself as the world's leading provider of government-to-citizen communication solutions and says its e-mail service provides a fully-automated on-demand public communication system.

The confirmation comes after the White House acknowledged this week that people were receiving unsolicited e-mails from the administration about health care reform and suggested the problem was with third-party groups that placed the recipients' names on the distribution list.

NOTE: This group cut a deal with the Department of Treasury to handle correspondence for federal agencies in 2007 after Paulson was named the Treasury Secretary in the summer of 2006. It looks like until Paulson was named, there was no push for GovDelivery.com to handle federal correspondence that I can find. If they do go back to 2004 with Obama as alleged on several sites, it lends credibility to the fact the Dems controlled Paulson and he undercut McCain for Obama which IMO makes sense. All of us that have been receiving odd emails from Dem organizations and the White House IMO need to look no further then GovDelivery.com. Why is the Federal Government wasting our tax dollars to spam us?

Did Gov Delivery.com really buy an expensive box as the Coronation of Obama?

The Patient's Choice Act of 2009 (Alternative to Obamacare)

How many Americans have heard of "The Patients' Choice Act of 2009" that was submitted in Congress by Senators Coburn and Burr and US Representatives Ryan and Nunes on May 20, 2009? Why are the Democrats ignoring these ideas from Republicans which make sense? Why 1,000 page Obamacare bills that also contain earmarks for things like bike trails? Why so long? Read the information provided on "The Patients' Choice Act of 2009" and tell us why this plan is not the way to go including ending Lawsuit Abuse (Tort Reform)

Why not listen to Senator Coburn who is also a Doctor? Instead Democrats continued to listen to the Trial Attorney lobby who certainly do not have the interests of doctors, hospitals, or patients. Patients are only a means for Trial Attorneys to line their pockets even more. This was submitted in May but has been largely ignored by the Mainstream Media who continue to carry the water for Obama/Pelosi/Reid on Obamacare. Read this plan for yourself at Patient's Choice Act and ask yourself why we are not hearing more about this plan.

Senators Coburn, Burr and Representatives Ryan, Nunes Offer A Better Path Forward on Health Care Reform

Bicameral Coalition of Reformers Unveil “The Patients’ Choice Act of 2009”

WASHINGTON – Earlier today, U.S. Senators Tom Coburn, M.D. (R-OK) and Richard Burr (R-NC) and U.S. Representatives Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Devin Nunes (R-CA) introduced health care reform legislation that delivers on the shared principles of promoting universal access to quality, affordable health care, and does so without adding billions of dollars in new debt or taxes.

“The Patients’ Choice Act of 2009,” transforms health care in America by strengthening the relationship between the patient and the doctor; using choice and competition rather than rationing and restrictions to contain costs; and ensuring universal, affordable health care for all Americans. “The Patients’ Choice Act” promotes innovative, State-based solutions, along with fundamental reforms in the tax code, to give every American, regardless of employment status, age, or health condition, the ability and the resources to purchase health insurance. The comprehensive legislation includes concrete prevention and transparency initiatives, long overdue reforms to Medicare and Medicaid, investments in wellness programs and health IT, and more.

“As a practicing physician, I have seen first-hand how giving government more control over health care has failed to make health care more affordable and accessible. The American people deserve health care reform that will work, not another round of so-called reform that repeats the same failed policies of the past. Congress and the administration have the opportunity to pursue bold reform and a fresh start. The Patients’ Choice Act will provide every American with access to affordable health care without a tax increase, more debt and waiting lines,” Dr. Coburn said.

“The American health care system needs a complete transformation,” Senator Burr said. “The Patients’ Choice Act will finally enable Americans to own their health care instead of being trapped in the current system, which leaves people either uninsured, dependent on their employer, or forced into a government program. With a focus on prevention and wellness and covering those with pre-existing conditions, the Patients’ Choice Act will make health care affordable and accessible to all Americans.”

“Both parties need to step up to the plate with specific solutions to our nation’s health care crisis,” added Ryan. “The Patients’ Choice Act represents a clear alternative to those who seek to empower Washington at the expense of the individual, and I am hopeful that our efforts can help push Congress to enact a more sensible health care reform bill this year. The Patients’ Choice Act proves that America can have universal health care coverage without the government running our health care system.”

Nunes stated, “The American people deserve a health care system that is centered on their individual needs. Our bill will allow us to achieve this goal, while improving health outcomes, lowering cost and guaranteeing access to health care for every single American.”
