"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

Are Obama and His Administration Friends with the Muslim Brotherhood? Evidence mounts they are!

Muslim Brotherhood's creed: "God is our objective; the Koran is our law; the Prophet is our leader; jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations." From Muslim Mission statement, it is waging "a kind of grand jihad eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions."
Read that very carefully and it will give you chills that we have a man who as President who is bending over backwards for the Muslim Brotherhood and in fact, has authorized a new initiative to help them get Government money -- our tax dollars. First it was NASA and now other parts of the Government. We cannot fathom spending our tax dollars on an organization, Muslim Brotherhood, who wants to institute Sharia Law in this Country and destroy America as we know it.

Coming August 31: ‘Direct Access’ Stimulus Grants for the Muslim Brotherhood
Christine Brim
Aug 29th 2010

Think of it as ACORN reborn, with a slice of Jihad on the side.

On August 31, this coming Tuesday, the Muslim Brotherhood-associated “Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations” (CCMO) will bring 25-30 Muslim leaders of 20 national Muslim groups to attend a special workshop presented by the White House and U.S. Government agencies (Agriculture, Education, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services etc.) to provide the groups “funding, government assistance and resources.” The workshop will apparently provide special access for these Muslim Brotherhood organizations: the organizers pledge to provide “direct access” and “cut through red tape.” Government and Muslim groups will hold an Iftar dinner (breaking the fast of Ramadan) after the workshop.
Not only does Obama bend over backwards for the Muslim Brotherhood but now wants to give them access to taxpayer money? Has he done this for the Baptist or any other Christian or Jewish groups? The  White House wonders why more and more Americans think he is a member of Islam? It might also be the fact he was born to a Muslim father, went to a Muslim school in Indonesia, took classes in Islam at a Catholic School in Indonesia, went to the Islamic Mosque with his stepfather, was a member of Rev Wright's Church in Chicago for over 20 years -- same church where Rev Wright was a former Muslim and honored Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and other Muslims in Chicago attend.

Frank Gaffney, Jr., of the Center for Security Policy, in his articls details how Obama has reached out to the Islamic community since becoming President:

Friend of the Brotherhood?
Center for Security Policy | Aug 30, 2010
By Frank Gaffney, Jr.

A new Pew Center poll says nearly one-in-five Americans think Barack Obama is a Muslim....

Growing numbers of our countrymen may be on to something else about the Obama presidency, however, that is even more alarming: In instance after instance, Mr. Obama has seemingly bent over backwards to accommodate not just Muslim-Americans, but a deeply problematic organization - the Muslim Brotherhood (or Ikhwan) - that purports to represent their interests here....

Consider the following, necessarily partial listing of actions - some symbolic, some substantive - that can legitimately be seen by the Muslim Brothers as evidence of our President's submission (the literally meaning of "Islam" and the goal of all those who, like the Ikhwan, seek to impose shariah worldwide):

•Mr. Obama declared in his inaugural address that, "The United States is a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus and non-believers." The ordering of "Muslims" before "Jews" was clearly deliberate, since the latter have been and are in the United States in far larger numbers than the former and have played a much more important role in the nation's history from its founding. Subsequently, he went even further, describing (inaccurately) America as "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world."

•In his much-ballyhooed address to "the Muslim world" delivered in Cairo in June 2009, Mr. Obama signaled his determination not only to "reach out" to followers of Islam. He also committed himself to an initiative - clearing the way for Muslims to "fulfill their zakat (tithing for charity) obligations" - that would have the practical effect of giving Brotherhood operatives (whose representatives he insisted be in the audience) more latitude to engage in material support for terrorism and, thereby, wage their "civilization jihad" in and from America.

•In September 2009, the Obama administration co-sponsored a United Nations Human Rights Council resolution eagerly sought by the Muslim Brotherhood and its friends. The resolution called on member nations to "prohibit and criminalize" speech that offends Islam and its followers. Such an accommodation would clearly violate the Constitution's First Amendment guarantees of freedom of expression.

•Speaking of the Constitution, the Obama administration is arguing in federal court that the U.S. government's ownership of AIG, which happens to be the largest purveyor of shariah-compliant insurance products in the world, does not violate the Establishment Clause's separation of church and state.

•We recently learned that, according to President Obama, the NASA Administrator's "foremost" priority is to make Muslims feel better about themselves and their history. Job 1 is not assuring U.S. supremacy in space, or even assured access to it; it's Muslim outreach and therapy.

•Then, last month, President Obama endorsed the megamosque near Ground Zero in a White House Iftar dinner attended by prominent Muslim Brotherhood operatives. Subsequent efforts to distance himself from that stance, in the face of intense criticism from the public and politicians of both parties, has only put into even sharper focus his pandering to this community.

•Now, my Center for Security Policy colleague Christine Brim has broken the story of a major new Obama initiative in that vein. In the words of the largest Muslim Brotherhood organization in the country, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), "A phenomenal next step has been made where government Iftars become coupled with workshops to provide resources and benefit the Muslim community. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (DOA) and the [Muslim Brotherhood-associated] Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations (CCMO) have paired the first of such events, scheduled for August 31, 2010."

Obama tells UN how Great he is but DNC won't use him or any elected Democrats in their current ad?

Wonder how this DNC ad is going to play in high unemployment states. Great reminder to everyone when President Bush was in office that 5% unemployment was the norm.  Word from Red State is the DNC pulled the ad, but we thought everyone would like to see what the progressives who run the DNC, the White House, and Congress are thinking.

Watch the ad and be reminded that we had it pretty good under President Bush:

We were in better shape after our Country took the huge blow on 9/11 than we are today under total progressive, liberal Democrat rule. There is no common sense coming out of the White House or Democrats in Congress. Obama wants to do is take credit for what everyone else does that works like the Bush surge in Iraq but blame Bush and Republicans when 'his' agenda doesn't work. One thing Obama and the progressive Dems are good at is giving our tax dollars to their special interest groups -- teachers and unions.

If Obama is so good for the United States as President per his report to the United Nations Human Rights Commissioner, why won't the DNC use him in their ad? Still cannot fathom Obama and Hillary sent this report to the UN Human Rights Commission which President Bush rightfully ignored. The Democrats truly are the Party of 'Blame America First!'

We need to thank the DNC for reminding us that we had it so much better under President Bush. Do we miss President Bush? Absolutely! Jeb are you listening?

From Mark Tapscott, Editor of the Washington Examiner, comes this gem of of breaking down what Obama and Hillary sent to the United Nations Commissioner on Human Rights:

Obama tells the U.N. how great he is
Examiner Editorial
August 30, 2010

President Obama's administration recently submitted a report to the United Nations on human rights in America. The 29-page report shows the nation badly flawed but fortunate to have a Nobel Prize winner as its leader. The report is billed as "a partial snapshot of the current human rights situation in the United States, including some of the areas where problems persist in our society." Among the nation's shortcomings listed in the report:

» Arizona has dared to try to enforce immigration laws that the federal government will not. But don't worry, Obama is suing them.

» We incarcerate dangerous terrorists at a military prison in Guantanamo Bay. But don't worry -- Obama has signed three executive orders to protect them from the last administration's rough handling and he "remains committed to closure of the Guantanamo detention facility."

» It's too hard to form a union, the document says -- either that or unions have just become less relevant. But don't worry, "there are several bills in our Congress that seek to strengthen workers' rights" -- bills like "card check," which will help institutionalize union intimidation and coercion by taking away a worker's right to a secret ballot.
The report also notes that as bad as our human rights situation is, help is on the way -- all thanks to Obama:

» America made "great strides" in human rights when "President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law." That's better known as Obamacare, the law that 60 percent of us want repealed.

» Obama is trying to repeal "Don't ask, don't tell" in the Department of Defense and the Defense of Marriage Act, which protects states' right to define marriage legislatively.

» The report mentions that in recent months, "the Department of Justice has worked to strengthen enforcement of federal voting rights laws." (So, just pretend, at least for a moment, that the New Black Panther case never happened.)

You get the picture: This is a self-serving political document that portrays Obama policies as great leaps forward, and things he opposes as steps backward. In the Bush years, America ignored the UN High Commission on Human Rights because the panel too often gave voice and sometimes positions of leadership to such human rights beacons as Cuba and China. Now, under Obama, our government is producing propaganda for world consumption at the expense of the American people. In other words, Obama has not merely joined Cuba and China on the commission, he is imitating their leaders' tactics, too

Obama and Terry Goddard are WRONG for Arizona!

Jan Brewer:

Terry Goddard, President Obama, and the boycott cartel: Wrong on healthcare, wrong on spending, wrong on illegal immigration. Terry Goddard is wrong for Arizona.

This is a very good ad -- the Democrat candidate for Governor is being supported by groups who are boycotting Arizona? The name 'boycott cartel' says it all! Would say Mr. Goddard better keep his day job as he is going to need it after November.

GOP Leader John Boehner's 'Speaking Out' on the Economy

Have Republicans learned their lesson after 2006 and 2008? We believe they have. One reason is a lot of the big spenders and go along to get along Republicans were ousted or retired. Most were not fiscal conservatives and were willing to spend our tax dollars like they grew on trees. At times under Speaker Hastert the bending over backwards to accommodate the Democrats made you ill. You won't get that with John Boehner who can be tough as nails but fair.

The Republican leadership of John Boehner (R-OH), Eric Cantor (R-VA), and Mike Pence (R-IN) have not quit fighting against all odds as they are out there every day taking on Pelosi and the progressive liberal democrats including Obama. Republicans have the best one-minute soundbites on the floor of the House every morning especially Mike Pence and Steve King who are masters of the one-minute speeches.

In January 2009 with the complete takeover of the House in large numbers by the Progressive Democrats after the disastrous 2008 elections fraught with voter fraud, accusations of racism, and intimidation, a new day dawned with storm clouds. Every last Democrat cast their vote for the Progressive Democrat Nancy Pelosi for Speaker after the 2008 election. Not one Democrat had the nerve to vote against her which should never be forgotten. After Pelosi retained the Speaker's Chair with even greater numbers, Republicans found a loud voice in the House and with the voice came ideas. John Boehner had 'his' team not what he inherited from Speaker Hastert when he retired.

Republican ideas and voices were heard at the Obama Healthcare Summit where Democrats were left with not knowing what was in their own bill including Obama as Republicans time and time again had the facts that were broadcast on CSPAN. Then Pelosi came out with her famous quote:
We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it
The Republican answer to Obamacare and Pelosi -- Repeal and Replace:

This spring House Republicans launched a new site America Speaking Out giving Americans a chance to voice our own opinions how Government can do a better job with less tax dollars in order to shrink the government and cut the deficit.

As a side note, one agency I would love to see shrunk is the EPA -- trying to kill poison ivy along an overflow creek and every time I use the 'approved' poison ivy killer, it seems to come back stronger. Long for the days when you used a weed killer, it actually worked instead of wasting your money. EPA is an agency run amok. Just think how much could be saved by shrinking that agency along with the aggravation they cause.

Now we are learning that the House Republicans are going to release a Governing Agenda in September. We remember the Contract with America in 1994 and how well it worked as the Congress systematically passed each of the items. We would like to note that the Contract with America contained NO social issues. Those issues for the most part belong back in the states, our homes, our churches, and our communities not at the federal level.

Republican leaders are expected to publish a governing agenda next month, probably an updated version of the bold and successful Newt Gingrich/Dick Armey “Contract with America” of 1994. John Boehner is a key alumnus of that effort.
Time for Americans with 'Common Sense' to Take America Back from the far left march of the progressive democrats on November 2nd. This country is made up of mostly center right Americans not the extremes of either side. We believe in "We The People" as individuals who can make a difference. Republicans have listened with giving us a website America Speaking Out where our voices can be heard. If you have any ideas that you think will help, please click on the link and express them. Republicans are listening to "We The People" no matter what some of the media or some of the groups are saying.

Republicans are the Party of Ideas that will grow our economy, cut our deficits, and shrink our Government. Democrats led by Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are the Party of the Progressive March toward socialism where the Government decides what is best for all. There is a huge difference in the parties -- don't let anyone tell your otherwise.

John Boehner’s Pro-Growth Message
by Larry Kudlow
August 30, 2010

It’s a bit too early for House Republican leader John Boehner to measure the drapes and pick out new wallpaper. But the Intrade pay-to-play prediction markets are now showing a 76 percent chance of a GOP House takeover in November, along with a 60 percent probability that Republicans will capture at least seven new Senate seats.

So Boehner’s lengthy broadside attack on Obamanomics at the City Club of Cleveland last week takes on special meaning. Headlines following the speech were all about Boehner’s call for the resignation of Obama policy generals Larry Summers and Timothy Geithner. But the more substantive question is this: What might a newly ascendant congressional Republican majority actually stand for?

Republican leaders are expected to publish a governing agenda next month, probably an updated version of the bold and successful Newt Gingrich/Dick Armey “Contract with America” of 1994. John Boehner is a key alumnus of that effort. But folks around the country are waiting to see if congressional Republicans will make a strong and aggressive case for a true economic-growth and jobs agenda now, in 2010.

The stock market, for example, has known for months that the GOP will capture the House. But investors are not yet confident that the GOP will focus on GDP, instead of mere ambiguous generalities, trying to be all things to all people. Indeed, if the Republicans borrow heavily from the tea-party “Contract from America” — and its call for constitutional limits to government, tough spending restraint, free-market reforms, and supply-side tax policies — stocks could mount a mighty rally in the weeks ahead.

Well, Mr. Boehner’s speech was a very promising beginning to all this.

Justice Dept. does away with the red, white, and blue stars and stripes

Received this in email and went to check it out -- the person is 100% correct down to the quote at the top of the DoJ page:

"The common law is the will of mankind, issuing from the life of the people."

Catchy, huh? Just one tiny little (too small to be relevant obviously) point – the quote is from C. Wilfred Jenks, who in the 1930's was a leading proponent of the “international law” movement, which had as its goal to impose a global common law and which backed ‘global workers’rights.’
Red, white, and blue has been replaced by black and white and looks like a website you would see from a Marxist government not the United States.

Subject: Fwd: Justice Dept. does away with the red, white, and blue stars and stripes

Well, how interesting. Seems the U.S. Department of Justice has changed their website yesterday. Gone are the colorful red, white and blue U.S. flag decorations on the page, to be replaced by stark black and white.

And at the top of the page, is a rather interesting quote:

"The common law is the will of mankind, issuing from the life of the people."

Catchy, huh? Just one tiny little (too small to be relevant obviously) point – the quote is from C. Wilfred Jenks, who in the 1930's was a leading proponent of the “international law” movement, which had as its goal to impose a global common law and which backed ‘global workers’rights.’

Call it Marxism, call it Progressivism, call it Socialism – under any of those names it definitely makes the DOJ look corrupt in their sleek, new black website with Marxist accessories to match.

How very interesting that 'they' couldn't find a nice quote from one of our Founders.

Follow the Money: Is Mayor Bloomberg's Support for the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque Due to his Bloomberg LLC Expanding in the Middle East (Dubai)?

This is all starting to make sense. We knew that Bloomberg was very wealthy and most likely could not be bought by a group of people behind the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque who have little money. Now the truth comes out that his LLC is heavily invested in the Middle East in Muslim countries and light bulb goes off. Of course, Bloomberg would be for the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque for his own business interest.

Is this why he wanted a 3rd term so bad?

Bloomberg LLC sells its terminals from seven regional hubs: London, Sao Paolo, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Sydney but the Dubai regional center will allow Bloomberg access to Islamic sharia based banking and monetary systems by developing a sharia compliant finance portal.

According to the regional head of Bloomberg LLC’s Middle East and South Asia centers, Max Linnington, “The region for us has seen explosive growth. For example, last year in the UAE, we grew our core business by 61 per cent. And already this year, we exceeded what we achieved in all of last year in the UAE. So we are selling a lot of Bloomberg terminals, basically.”
Mondo Frazier, Big Journalism, has been investigating the connection:
Does the Mayor’s unshakable support have anything to do with The Bloomberg (company) becoming a ‘single provider of information that caters to the Islamic business market’? A Bloomberg five-year business plan for an Islamic finance portal via a Bloomberg hub at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is already a reality.
The puzzle pieces are beginning to fit. Bloomberg was pushing the 'freedom of religion' card too much when he didn't do anything for St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church at Ground Zero. Ignored them like they don't exist but his support for the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque project has been over the top. It also has led to people questioning what stake Bloomberg had in this Mosque Project.

Some of Bloomberg LP’s officials may hold some clues.
On October 2, 2009, The Dubai Chronicle reported Chairman and President of Bloomberg LP Peter T. Grauer met with UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum at Maktoum’s Emirate office. According to the Dubai Chronicle, Grauer gave a presentation of Bloomberg future expansion plans in the ‘area of business information’ in the United Emirates, North Africa, and India. Grauer stated the UAE was a great place to expand, the UAE’s “logistic facilities” the ‘biggest incentive for investors and companies to expand their businesses in the country and the region beyond’.
“Particularly since the meltdown of the western capitalist system, there has been an increasingly large focus on the virtues of Islamic finance. Today, there is no one single provider of information that caters to the Islamic finance market. So by Bloomberg being here, we are in the process of building out an Islamic finance product. We are very confident that we can build a product that meets the needs of the market right now.”

–Max Linnington, Regional Head of Bloomberg Middle East and South Asia on the company’s plan to build a Bloomberg hub in Dubai at the Dubai International Financial Centre(DIFC), October 29, 2009
Some details about the DIFC:
The DIFC is the world’s fastest growing international financial centre. It aims to develop the same stature as New York, London and Hong Kong.

It primarily serves the vast region between Western Europe and East Asia.
How much money does Bloomberg's LLC stand to make off of his fnancial dealings in Dubai and other places in the Middle East?  Would say this is a definite conflict of interest and the calls for Bloomberg to step down as Mayor should begin immediately.  In fact, an investigation should be started to see if he used his position as Mayor to further his own LLC in the Middle East.

'Ground Zero Mosque Madness: NYC Mayor Bloomberg’s Bloomberg LLC expanding its financial center to a regional hub in Dubai’

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is on record excoriating opponents of a new Islamic mosque scheduled to begin construction on September 11, 2011 in lower Manhattan. The proposed mosque’s site is two blocks from the former World Trade Center’s Twin Towers destroyed ten years previously on September 11, 2001 by Islamic jihadists.

Bloomberg’s demands of religious tolerance from his city’s citizens is inconsistent in a city with 100 mosques already in operation but with a school system that will not acknowledge Christianity or Christmas, or even allow the repairs necessary for the Greek Orthodox Church, St. Nicholas, to go forward nearly a decade after it was crushed by falling debris from the Twin Towers themselves.

Paralleling Mayor Bloomberg’s veiled insults towards those acutely aware of the historical Islamic conquest of non-Muslim lands by their building of mosques on top of or dominating a conquered people’s holy sites, is the concurrent Bloomberg LLC’s expansion of its Dubai financial center into a regional hub for the UAE.

Founded in 1981 by Michael Bloomberg, who privately owns 85% of the limited liability corporation, Bloomberg LLC is a dominant player in global financial software, data gathering and news, commanding one third of its market niche estimated at $16 billion dollars.

Bloomberg LLC has news bureaus throughout the Gulf Corporation Counsel (GCC) and is opening offices in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Its new Dubai regional hub will cover financial news, analysis and data gathering throughout the Middle East and extend Eastwards across Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Indian subcontinent and Nepal.

Sharia banking does not pay interest but donates a percentage to Islamic interests around the globe, mostly centering on Islamic expansionism through building mosques, madrassas, Western law suits (lawfare) or more violently through Islamic jihadist terrorism.

It should not come as a surprise that a co-founder of the Hamas organization, Mahmoud al-Zahar, came out and said the following about the controversial Cordoba mosque, whose imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf, refuses to identify Hamas as a terrorist organization, ”We have to build everywhere. In every area we have, [as] Muslim[s], we have to pray, and this mosque is the only site of prayer. We have to build the mosque, as you are allowed to build the church and Israelis are building their holy places.”

Considering that there are so few Muslims in Lower Manhattan and that they already have 100 mosques in New York City from which to choose, Al-Zahar’s reasoning is as specious as Mayor Bloomberg’s especially since the definition of what is considered “holy” needs to be examined.

For Americans in general and New Yorkers in particular, the site of the Twin towers and the memory of the nearly three thousand, who died in the worst domestic attack on US soil, is a holy site. For Muslims worldwide that attack and destruction represents the triumph of Islam, which makes Ground Zero “holy” in their eyes but a definite historical and psychological assault on US citizens.

By siding with Islamic expansionism through mosque building, New York Mayor, Michael Bloomberg’s insulting tirade against the Cordoba mosque’s detractors, calls into question his ethics in catering financially to an avowed enemy of Western civilization and democratic principles.

Hillary Clinton's Department of State Submits Report to UN Human Rights Commissioner Mentioning Arizona Law

UPDATE:  Click here for copy of Governor Brewer's letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Cannot fathom the anger that Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona, Senator McCain, and the Legislature along with Arizona residents are feeling right now toward Obama, Hillary, and the State Department. To mention one of our States in a report to the United Nations on Human Rights is beyond despicable. This whole bunch of liberal, progressive Democrats have reached a new low.

"A recent Arizona law, S.B. 1070, has generated significant attention and debate at home and around the world," the report says. "The issue is being addressed in a court action that argues that the federal government has the authority to set and enforce immigration law. That action is ongoing; parts of the law are currently enjoined."
For those  who thought Hillary would make a better President than Obama, think again. She may turn out to be the worst Secretary of State to go along with Obama the worst President in modern times. She thinks nothing of signing our rights away to the UN or playing up to our enemies but then she did a good job of that as First Lady with Arafat's wife, Suha .   Following the terrorist speech of Suha Arafat where she accused Israel of poisoning Palestinians, Hillary gave her a hug and kiss.

It took Hillary Clinton a full 24 hours before she condemned parts of the speech. Who does she answer to now? Obama who also plays up to our enemies and disses our allies. Now we have this from the Hillary State Department talking about Arizona and human rights when the law specifically forbids racial profiling. Maybe if she took the time to read the law instead of wasting our tax dollars flying around the world, she would know what the Arizona Immigration Law says but then she might not be able to comprehend the meaning of 'prohibit' which is a wee bit longer the the word 'is' her husband used during his testimony on Monicagate.

It never stops with this group of wanna be dictators. Does Obama want the UN to decide so he can blame them. Hillary, being the 'world's smartest woman' according to her adoring media, missed the boat on this one as well as a lot of other items since becoming Secretary of State. Maybe the media needs to revise their 'world's smartest woman' mantra for Hillary.
Brewer condemns report to UN mentioning Ariz. law

By JONATHAN J. COOPER, Associated Press Writer Jonathan J. Cooper, Associated Press Writer – Fri Aug 27, 10:57 pm ET
PHOENIX – Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer demanded Friday that a reference to the state's controversial immigration law be removed from a State Department report to the United Nations' human rights commissioner.

The U.S. included its legal challenge to the law on a list of ways the federal government is protecting human rights.

In a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Brewer says it is "downright offensive" that a state law would be included in the report, which was drafted as part of a UN review of human rights in all member nations every four years.

"The idea of our own American government submitting the duly enacted laws of a state of the United States to 'review' by the United Nations is internationalism run amok and unconstitutional," Brewer wrote.

Arizona's law generally requires police officer enforcing other laws to investigate the immigration status of people they suspect are illegal immigrants.

Critics say it would lead officers to target Hispanics. Supporters, including Brewer, say the law prohibits racial profiling and other human rights abuses.

The U.S. Justice Department sued to block the measure, arguing federal law trumps the state's authority to enforce immigration laws.

A federal judge in July sided with the Justice Department and blocked enforcement of the law's most controversial provisions a day before it was scheduled to take effect.

Marco Rubio delivers Weekly Republican Address

NO PARTY Charlie Crist cannot decide whether he is for or against Obamacare -- took him two hours to change from for to against yesterday which wasn't his first flip flop on the issue -- try three before this. That is the biggest difference we see between Marco Rubio and NO Party Charlie -- Marco is a conservative and  stands opposed to the Obama agenda.  He is against Obamacare, bailouts, stimulus and the rest of the runaway spending of the Democrats. NO PARTY Charlie is not sure of where he stands on the issues as he flip flops like John Kerry and seems to have ZERO core values like his good friend Obama.

There is a clear cut choice for the Florida Senate.  For all those voters who are fed up with the deficit spending in DC and the march against our freedoms by Obama and the Democrats -- that is Marco Rubio. If you want a flip flopper that doesn't have a clue who he would caucus with, then your candidate is NO PARTY Charlie. If you want a progressive liberal Democrat then by all means vote for Meeks!

Republican Dan Coats Indiana Senate Ad "Judgment"

This is a very powerful ad and the very reason that former Senator Coats once again needs to be elected as the Senator from Indiana.  He has a lot of experience in foreign affairs which is sorely needed in DC.

David Beamer Condemns Ground Zero Mosque

by Editors on August 27, 2010

David Beamer, a 9/11 family member whose son Todd was among those who fought back aboard Flight 93, recently spoke out against the mosque planned for Ground Zero:

“I sure believe that this mosque, if it happens, will be a memorial to the grand martyrs that accomplished their mission beyond their wildest dreams … That will be a monument to celebrate and to remember who? To remember for sure the fifteen who completed their mission.”
Here is the video:

Source: Coalition to Honor Ground Zero

NOTE: If you only watch one video on this site, make sure this video from David Beamer is the one you watch.  It gives an insight from someone who lost their son on Flight 93 on 9/11.  Beamer has done his research and every American needs to watch and heed his words.  Stop the Ground Zero Islamic Victory Mosque TODAY!   We now have 71% of Americans opposed to this mosque -- we need 100% of Americans who support our Constitution to stand up and tell Bloomberg, Cuomo, and the Muslims -- NO!

Charlie Crist: "Who Cares!"

Charlie Crist in his own words giving his opinion on the very serious question of who he’ll caucus with? His response: “who cares!”. We would guess that the people of Florida definitely care who he caucus' with. Guess you might say that Crist is starting to lose it after the latest poll showing Rubio 10 points ahead came out.

Roadmap for Rick Scott's Victory over Alex Sink -- Introduce the ultra liberal Sink to Florida Voters

UPDATE: "Yesterday, Floridians selected the Republican candidates who will carry forward the message of limited government, fiscal responsibility and personal freedom. Floridians are looking for strong leaders and responsible solutions and I am confident our party can meet this challenge. I congratulate Rick Scott and the Republican candidates who are answering the call to public service. We must now unite and work together for victory in November."  Jeb Bush

This is my favorite paragraph from the article at Tampa Bay On-line about "Why Scott Won, And Why He Could Win Again:
All points in her favor. All easily blown apart by a few million dollars' worth of ads about Liberal Banker Alex Sink and Her Pal Barack Obama. If I were the Democrats, I wouldn't be high-fiving. I'd be arming the nukes.
When 2 November comes, Independents in our opinion will be voting for Scott. Why you ask? Because Rick Scott is conservative and Alex Sink is probably the poster person for the ultra left liberal progressive women Democrats in Florida and the rest of the Country. You don't belong to Emily's List as a moderate Democrat. Her liberal credentials helped 'sink' her husband, McBride, in his run for Governor against Jeb. We never figured out why he ran as Jeb is probably the most popular Governor of Florida. She always runs under the name Sink not McBride -- why is that? Would bet a lot of Florida voters today don't realize that she was the wife behind the McBride run against Jeb Bush in 2006. Was McBride's run against Jeb in 2006 actually a dry-run for Sink's run in 2010?

After all the nasty things that were said in 2006 against Jeb Bush by McBride and his wife, anyone thinking Jeb won't throw his weight behind Rick Scott needs to think again. Jeb Bush was not the insider in Tallahassee when he ran against Lawton Chiles and like Scott came from outside of Florida.  In fact, Scott's economic plan, drafted with the help of former Jeb Bush budget director Donna Arduin, is billed as "7 steps for 700,000 jobs in 7 years." In Miami before the primary, Manny Marono, mayor of 15,000-resident Sweetwater near Miami campaigned with Rick Scott.

There is another person in this race who we guarantee will take votes away from the liberal Sink:
Bud Chiles, the son of former Florida governor Lawton Chiles, announced his run for Florida governor. Entering late, he will be running on an Independent platform. Bud Chiles has waited seven years to run as he entered in 2003 but removed himself after learning he had not lived in the state long enough. Though Chiles is a Floridian, he had moved away from the state. Florida law states you must reside in Florida for at least 7 years before you can run.
This is going to be an interesting race to watch as most of the Republican County Chairs will line up enthusiastically for Scott as they are tired of what they have witnessed out of Florida GOP in Tallahassee under Crist and Greer. Take one example -- the appointment of the person to the Senate seat vacated by Mel Martinez. Crist contacted the County Chairs who were supporting former Congressmen, but what did Crist do? Appointed his good friend. BTW, LeMieux has turned out to be a stronge Republican in the Senate and after Crist became NO PARTY endorsed Marco Rubio.

We believe that the Florida grassroots who want new leadership in Tallahassee will be fully behind Rick Scott as they understand that the liberal Alex Sink would be bad for Florida and its small business not to mention a repeat of Lawton Chiles through his son, Bud Chiles.  Sad part of all of this is that Scott's opponent, McCollum is considering endorsing Sink?  Guess he is taking after his good friend Charlie Crist and leaving all doubt behind that he was the conservative he pretended to be during the primary.  No conservative would support Alex Sink or Bud Chiles period! We hope he wakes up to what he is considering and puts the good of Florida first.

Alex Sink is a friend of Obama? No thanks, Florida has already has one in Gov Christ and doesn't need another one. Looks like Sink is the typical Democrat running away from Obama now while she embraced him a year ago:

Alex Sink ducks President Barack Obama in Miami
From Miami Herald writer Beth Reinhard's story on President Barack Obama's fundraiser in Miami:

For Alex Sink, the Democratic front-runner for governor, the potential price for embracing the increasingly unpopular president was too steep. The state's chief financial officer did not join Obama at the deli or greet him at Miami International Airport, and she had stepped off the stage by the time Sen. Bill Nelson introduced the president at the hotel.

Her distance from Obama contrasted with their dual billing as "special guests" for the fundraiser, which fortified the Democratic Party for a turbulent election year in which five powerful statewide posts are up for grab.

Source: http://blogs.tampabay.com/buzz/2010/08/alex-sink-ducks-obama-in-miami.html
So the ultra liberal Sink now doesn't want to be seen around Obama, the President she helped elect? Probably doesn't want one of the pictures of hugging Obama to make the internet.  Too funny! She can run away from him but she cannot hide the fact she was 100% on board Obama's election and his first year in office. Only when his poll numbers started to tank did she decide to run away.

ICYMI: Why Scott Won, And Why He Could Win Again

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – In case you missed it, the St. Petersburg Times’ Howard Troxler penned a column recapping Rick Scott’s primary victory and Alex Sink’s problems running against him.

Why Scott won, and why he could win again

By Howard Troxler, St. Petersburg Times Columnist
On the question of how Florida's Republicans could vote to nominate Rick Scott for governor, some of the answers I heard Wednesday:

(1) He was never accused of wrongdoing in the $1.7 billion Medicare-fraud settlement against his Columbia/HCA hospital chain.

(2) He's a successful mega-businessman who knows how to build, how to run things and how to meet a payroll.

(3) It's past time to change Tallahassee-as-usual.

"America is speaking out … we are worried about the deficit, the economy and jobs," Scott supporter Sharon Vernon of Largo explained in an e-mail.

"Not," she continued, "your (the media's) innuendo about a Republican, just because you are afraid he might actually succeed at doing the things that need to be done."

So Scott's message worked.

Next up: the Democrats.
Some Democrats were high-fiving each other Wednesday on the theory that Scott is so odious they have to win. Indeed, one poll gives Sink a 41-34 lead over Scott.

Yeah, well …

If Scott can start from scratch and knock out Bill McCollum, what will he do against Sink? Democrats always make the same mistake: They think elections are decided on some sort of merit system, like who got the best test score.

Sink has a problem: Most Floridians still don't know much about her, even though she's the state's sitting chief financial officer. That's an image vacuum that another $50 million or so of Rick Scott's money could fill.

See, Scott could say it was Liberal Banker and Tallahassee Insider Alex Sink who personally caused the entire U.S. economy to collapse. Then she and her pal Barack Obama stole $800 billion and blew it, with her banking buddies getting the cash, while she and Barack were taking over health care.

Ridiculous? You say the truth is that Sink was basically a state-level branch president, that she left Bank of America long before the troubles and had nothing to do with them? You say that she is the common-sense business person, a first-termer and not a Tallahassee insider, and good grief, what in the world is a "liberal banker"?

Bottom Line: On November 2nd, 2010, we would place our bets on Rick Scott becoming the Governor Elect of Florida!

Mayor Bloomberg calls Americans Against the Ground Zero Islamic Mosques 'Un-American?"

If there is a recall in New York for Mayor, now is the time to start the petitions. How dare Bloomberg to call us Un-American for not wanting an Islamic Victory Mosque built at Ground Zero. It is at Ground Zero no matter what the Mayor wants to spin when you realize parts of one the planes that flew into the World Trade Center went through the roof of the building they want to tear down to build this mosque to Mohammed.

The best reason to call it an Islamic Victory Mosque comes from the fact that throughout history Muslims will build Islamic mosques on places they have conquered. Since Al Qaeda claimed victory over America on 9/11 when they murdered over 2600 people in New York City, the building of this mosque at Ground Zero makes sense if you are Muslim. It is also the very reason it should NOT be built on this location.

This question asked in the Washington Examiner Editorial says it all:
There are 100 mosques in New York City: Will 100 Christian churches ever be permitted in places like Riyadh and Kabul?
There are 100 mosques in NYC? That number alone brings into question why build at Ground Zero unless it is an Islamic Victory Mosque. Yet, Bloomberg calls all of us Un-American for not wanting the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque and Cultural Center built? Let them attend the other 100 mosques in New York City.

It is a fact that Christian churches are not permitted in some Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia where it is against the law in Saudi to build a Christian church. The small number of Catholics with money in Saudi who fly to other smaller Muslim countries who have small Catholic Churches for holidays like Christmas and Easter.

We found this article very interesting that no Catholic Church can be built in Saudi until the Pope recognizes Mohammed as a prophet:

Riyadh, 20 March (AKI) - No churches should be permitted in Saudi Arabia, unless Pope Benedict XVI recognised the prophet Mohammed, according to a Middle East expert.

While Saudi mediators are working with the Vatican on negotiations to allow places of religious worship, some experts believe it will not occur without this recognition.
The Saudi's are negotiating? What kind of negotiation is that -- change centuries of teaching about the prophets to now include the prophet Mohammed in order to build a Catholic Church? That should never happen -- better off to never have a Catholic Church in Saudi than to give into what is essentially blackmail.

We still are not hearing a word out of Bloomberg about the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church that is not be allowed to rebuild on the land they own at Ground Zero. Guess they are not giving enough money to city leaders to get their church built. That is a cold statement to make but under the circumstances what other reason is there for the New York Port Authority to refuse to talk to leaders of St. Nicholas for over a year?

Examiner Editorial: Defending memory of 9/11 victims isn't 'un-American'
August 25, 2010

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has said those who believe the ground zero mosque should be moved elsewhere are “un-American.” (Richard Drew/AP)

With New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg now condemning as "un-American" those who believe the ground zero mosque should be moved elsewhere, the ill-advised project's most prominent defender is tottering on the precipice of the deep end. It is unfortunate that a man who made a fortune building a media company devoted to providing accurate and timely business information now resorts to such extreme rhetoric. The mayor needs to get a grip and apologize to those he has insulted, who include, according to multiple opinion surveys, clear majorities of New Yorkers and the American people.

It's also time for the project's main advocate, Imam Fiesal Abdul Rauf, to explain his previous rationalizations for terrorist attacks against America. Speaking in Australia in 2005, Rauf said: "We tend to forget, in the West, that the United States has more Muslim blood on its hands than al Qaeda has on its hands of innocent non-Muslims. You may remember that the U.S.-led sanctions against Iraq led to the death of over half a million Iraqi children. This has been documented by the United Nations."

Aside from the United Nations' utter lack of credibility, Rauf, who described himself on that occasion as an Islamic spokesman, echoed a familiar alibi of Islamist terrorists who murder innocent men, women and children, including many who share their faith. President Clinton, who supported the sanctions, rejected the alibi as nothing more than a lie that originated with former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

Rauf might gain some credibility if, while on his current U.S. taxpayer-funded junket to the Middle East, he used the occasion to challenge Muslim leaders to end their barbaric practice of executing those who convert from Islam to another faith. He could further gain credibility in the United States by demanding that Muslim leaders also allow Christian and other missionaries to operate openly and without fear in their societies.

Cong Alan Grayson (D-FL) is now on borrowed time -- Wants Obama to Fire Press Secretary Gibbs!

Help is on the way for the 8th Congressional District of Florida who are represented by Alan Grayson after the nomination of Daniel Webster as the GOP nominee to face Grayson on November 2nd. This is the year in Florida starting with the Governor's race where there is a clear cut difference between the two parties and voters will have a real choice between ultra liberals/progressives and conservatives.

Fortunately for the Country, Grayson is going to be a one-term member of Congress. Not too much can be said that is complimentary about Grayson from either Party. Grayson has now called on Obama to fire his Press Secretary Gibbs. Grayson, the 12th wealthiest person in the House and Vice Chair of the House Progressive Caucus, is the gift that keeps on giving for Republicans in the Orlando area looking to oust him as their embarrassing Congressman.

There is now relief in sight for the constituents of the 8th Congressional District of Florida which encompasses a large portion of Orlando. Webster as the GOP nominee is remembered as the the state House Republican Leader in the 1990s who engineered the successful Republican takeover of 1996, ending 122 years of Democrat control and becoming the first GOP Speaker of the House in over a century.

This is what former Governor Jeb Bush had to say about Dan Webster:

On November 2nd, 2010, voters of the Florida 8th District have an opportunity to send Alan Grayson to the unemployment line -- this may be one seat that the Democrats are also not interesting in defending.

GOP Leader Boehner: Five Steps President Obama Can Take To Help Our Economy Create Jobs

This recommendation should be done immediately but we are not holding our breath:

Ask for – and Accept – the Resignations of Secretary Geithner and Larry Summers, the Head of the National Economic Council
What are the chances of the President doing any of the suggestions by GOP Leader Boehner gave in his speech today? We say slim to none. Read Boehner's recommendations and ask yourself why Democrats are not listening and are willing to continue their spending spree. They talk a good talk about cutting and then go pass more bills that spend more of our tax dollars -- the latest one to teachers which is too late in the fall to save teacher positions. Not to mention a school district who uses the money to retain teachers this year has just delayed the inevitable.  What do they do next year to retain teachers -- get another handout from Obama?

How long before Obama interrupts his vacation to reply?

Five Steps President Obama Can Take To Help Our Economy Create Jobs
GOP Leader: “We’ve Tried 19 Months of Government-As-Community Organizer. It Hasn’t Worked. Our Fresh Start Needs to Begin Now.”

Washington (Aug 24)

Today, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) delivered a speech detailing five steps Republicans believe President Obama must immediately take to help small businesses create jobs and put an end to the economic uncertainty that is hamstringing the nation’s economic growth. The five steps outlined by Boehner:

1. Stop Job-Killing Tax Hikes on Families and Small Businesses. “Boehner to Obama: Don't raise taxes. … The Minority Leader called on Obama to work with his party to stop the coming tax hike scheduled to take place in January, when Bush-era tax breaks expire.” (The Hill) “Among other challenges he issued the president, Boehner said ‘President Obama should announce he will not carry out his plan to impose job-killing tax hikes on families and small businesses.’” (ABC News) “Boehner said that proposal puts the government ‘in the position of picking winners and losers and pitting taxpayer against taxpayer.’ ‘Raising taxes on families and small businesses during a recession is a recipe for disaster - both for our economy and for the deficit,’ he said.” (CBS News)

2. Veto Job-Killing ‘Lame Duck’ Legislation. “The Ohio Republican recommended that Obama pledge to veto any ‘job killing’ legislation passed by Congress during a lame-duck session, including any cap-and-trade energy legislation or ‘card check’ bills.” (Roll Call) “‘President Obama should announce that he will veto any job-killing bills sent to his desk by a lame-duck Congress — including ‘card check,’ a national energy tax, and any other tax increases on families and small businesses,’ he said.” (McClatchy Newspapers)

3. Call on Congressional Democrats to Stop Obstructing Efforts to Repeal Harmful ObamaCare ‘1099 Mandate.’ “Boehner also said the president should, as he put it, ‘call on Democratic Leaders in Congress to stop obstructing Republicans' attempts to repeal the new health care law's job-killing '1099 mandate.’” (Chicago Tribune) “‘What is the point of making employers and entrepreneurs spend $17 billion to send all this paperwork to Washington, where it’s going to cost about $10 billion to log it in and file it away?’ Boehner asked.” (Roll Call)

4. Cut Spending To Create Jobs. “Boehner Calls on Obama to Commit to ‘Aggressive Spending Reduction.’” (Roll Call) “[Boehner] called on the Obama Administration to send Congress an aggressive spending reduction package. ‘I'm not afraid to tell you there's no money left,’ Boehner said. ‘In fact, we're broke.’” (TIME)

5. Ask for – and Accept – the Resignations of Secretary Geithner and Larry Summers, the Head of the National Economic Council. “Boehner: Obama must fire entire economic team. Saying Washington is hampered by ‘endless spending sprees, entangled tax structures and bureaucracy run amok,’ the top House Republican on Tuesday … said the president must break with the economic team that, 19 months into his tenure, has failed to lower the unemployment rate…” (The Washington Times) “Boehner pointed to the resignation of Christina Romer as chair of Obama's Council of Economic Advisers, who announced her decision to step down shortly after Peter Orszag, director of the Office of Management and Budget, resigned. ‘We have been told that the president's economic team is ‘exhausted’ -- already, his budget director and his chief economist have moved on or are about to. Clearly, they see the writing on the wall, and the president should too,’ Boehner said.” (ABC News)

Newsmax Endorses McCain in Arizona Race

We couldn't agree with Newsmax more and why we have been supporting McCain from the beginning. Hayworth never met pork or earmarks that he didn't like and would be one of the worst people to send to the Senate. We believe that Sen McCain will win handily but this had better teach conservatives a lesson before they jump on board with a candidate who 'claims' to be conservative when they are not especially on economics.

Hayworth also did the infomercial trying to give away free money. Why is Hayworth running? Free money from donations to pay off his campaign debts from 2006 comes to mind.

Newsmax Endorses McCain in Arizona Race
Tuesday, 24 Aug 2010 09:36 AM Article Font Size
By: Newsmax Editorial

Senator and 2008 presidential candidate John McCain squares off today against challenger J.D. Hayworth in the Arizona Republican primary.

Newsmax believes Sen. McCain deserves re-election.

McCain has voted consistently on the conservative side on important issues — he has never supported a broad-based tax hike, has voted for all conservative Supreme Court nominees, and has a long pro-life record.

He also maintains unquestionable credibility on national security and has demonstrated his leadership by encouraging the “surge” of U.S. forces in Iraq.

And, as it turns out, he has a better record than Hayworth on controlling federal spending. Hayworth, a six-term congressman and former talk radio host, is not the man to be in the Senate at this moment.

We have been impressed that John McCain, almost from day one of President Barack Obama’s administration, has been a leader opposing Obama’s radical agenda.

McCain led GOP opposition to Obama’s economic stimulus package. He staunchly opposed Obama's and the Democrats’ healthcare reform plan, and has defended Arizona’s tough new law seeking to rein in illegal immigration.

Even before Obama and the rise of the tea party, John McCain has been an outspoken critic of pork-barrel spending used by both Republicans and Democrats.

Today he supports making the Bush tax cuts permanent. He has also won the backing of the National Rifle Association.

America lives in dangerous times. Iran is on the verge of attaining a nuclear weapon. Rogue states such as North Korea have been growing more belligerent. McCain is considered the Senate’s point man for keeping our armed forces strong and robust. This is not the time for the Senate to find itself without John McCain.

At a recent town hall meeting, McCain declared: “I have stood up and led the fight as a fiscal conservative and a leader on national defense and a strong supporter of the men and women who are fighting and sacrificing for this nation.”

Newsmax rarely endorses a candidate. But in this case, we are convinced that Republicans need to retain McCain’s experienced, forceful voice.

Looking for All-American Gasoline? Good Luck!

Living in the heart of oil and gas country, you would expect that our five refineries in Oklahoma only refine oil produced in the United States. That is not the case as it is much more complicated based on the type of crude a refinery is able to use in their refining process. If the EPA was not so stringent, we would have more refineries either upgraded or new that could refine more types of crude.

If you are one of the people attempting to boycott particular stations, you are hurting the American worker:

Oil Rig workers on or offshore to bring in the well
Vendors supplying the rigs on and offshore
Manufacturing employees of companies that provide various items used in drilling and anything associated with oil production
Vendors supplying the storage facilities for the crude
Truck drivers of oil tankers who deliver the oil to the refinery
Refinery workers
Truck drivers of oil tankers to the gas stations
Owner and employees of the gas station
Vendors to the gas stations
That is just a small sample of workers who would be hurt by a gasoline boycott of a particular brand. That doesn't even include the restaurants who make the money off the oil workers.

This is also a sample of how the moratorium in the Gulf by the Obama and his Administration is hurting collateral industries with their boneheaded move knowing they were going to be hurting employment along the Gulf Coast but Obama doesn't seem to care as long as he and his family can take luxury vacations and he can golf.

When people urge boycotts, most don't stop to think who they are hurting in the process. In the oil industry, the crude from many areas of the world is used in US refineries and it would be virtually impossible to separate which crude went into the manufacture of a particular brand. All you have to do is look at the trucks that come into our gas stations and realize the trucks all come from the same refinery in a town south of us. Who knows where the crude came from? Very seldom do you see a tanker truck with a particular brand on them delivering gasoline in our area.

Another aspect of a boycott not taken into consideration are the various products that come from crude oil that we use in every day life.  When you stop to think about it, oil production is key to so much of what we use and makes us wonder why new and upgraded refineries are being blocked by the EPA and while Obama and his Administration are not pushing for more domestic oil production?

Boycotting your local gas station makes 'zero' sense.

Looking for All-American Gasoline?
There May Not Be Any In Your Neighborhood

It now looks as if the Gulf Coast oil spill, brought to you in part by BP and the government’s Minerals Management Service, will not cause the northern hemisphere to close down. Yet, memories of BP’s former CEO, Tony Hayward, continue to stoke a national aversion to “foreign oil” and a boycott of the nation’s 10,000 BP stations (almost none of which are owned by BP). Boycotters determined to put mom-and-pop BP stations out of business have joined with the petro-jingoists who have prodded us for what seems an eternity to not buy oil produced in the Middle East.

Can using a “Buy American” bumper sticker as a Band-Aid for our oil deficit do much to help Americans wean themselves from overseas hydrocarbons? Is it even possible to “buy American?”

Think of Joe and Josephine Citizen, out there wondering what they can do, short of putting their Honda through the crusher and buying bicycles, to help free our great nation from the yoke of foreign oil. They could wear clever T-shirts to demonstrations at the home offices of oil companies, of course, but they might profit more if they leaned their placards against the wall for now, and turned off their bullhorns, while we see if there are ways to avoid purchasing oil pumped from lands beyond the seas.

Consider that the United States, with four percent of the world’s population, consumes a disproportionate slice of the world’s oil-production pie chart. The U.S. Energy Information Administration estimates that we import almost 10 million barrels of crude oil per day of the 74 million the world produces (up from 21 million in 1960). We use 10 million barrels of our own oil, making our consumption roughly 26 percent of all crude oil pumped out of the earth.

Save Money On Gas
Cheap Gas Near You
How To Improve Your Fuel Economy

We buy about half of our 10 million imported barrels from four countries. They are: Canada (1.86 million barrels), Mexico (1.17), Saudi Arabia (1.08), and Venezuela (1.07). The rest comes from eleven other countries.

It is apparent, then, that we buy 3.32 million barrels of crude each day from countries that either want to repossess California, have a habit of funding Middle Eastern terrorist groups, or are led by an egomaniac who hates everything about the U.S. except Sean Penn. We could lose Canada if a bad call by a U.S. referee should cost one of its hockey teams the Stanley Cup.

Think for a minute about the companies that refine all this crude oil. The U.S. had 300 oil refineries in 1982, and today we have 148. Operating at about 90 percent of capacity, the Department of Energy says that existing refineries can produce some 631,000 barrels of petroleum products a day.

How many barrels of our daily 20 million are refined into gasoline? Each 42-gallon barrel delivers 18.56 gallons of gasoline. Put another way, gasoline makes up 45 percent of a barrel’s yield, so our daily ration produces 9.0 million barrels of gasoline. We can refine only .63 million barrels and are thus dependent on outsiders. Worse, we are likely to remain so.

The Internet teems with lists of companies that allegedly buy or do not buy oil from the Middle East. These lists are often incomplete or inaccurate. ARCO, for example, will appear on the list of non-Middle-East purchasers, but ARCO is owned by Venezuela. For my money, Hugo Chavez sucks just as loudly as the terror-supporting states.

All of the companies lumped under the Big Oil banner (Exxon, Royal Dutch Shell, BP, Chevron, Conoco Phillips, and Total) are multinationals to a greater or lesser degree. This makes it difficult to pinpoint an All-American company or even one that buys no Middle East or Venezuelan oil. Oil, remember, is a commodity. And no one cares where a commodity comes from if the price is right.

Time's Mark Halperin: 9/11 Families Need to Be Led Through a Discussion About the Ground Zero Mosque

Not usually speechless but Mark Halperin has done it this time -- watch his arrogance on this video as he has definitely forgotten what happened on 9/11 no matter what he says. We tried to put our feelings into words about what Halprin had to say below, but most words that come to mind are not words we use.

Know one thing that if I was a member of the 9/11 families I would have a few choice words for Mr. Halperin if he thinks words would change my mind about the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque. How dare he insult these families and through them Americans acting like we are too dumb to understand history of the Islamic religion. For his information, we already know that it is an Islamic tradition to put a mosque where they have consquered.

While he is at it, maybe he can explain why St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church has not been allowed to rebuild when they already own the land. Their Church was destroyed thanks the Islamic Jihadists who murdered over 2600 people in the World Trade Towers on 9/11/2001.

So Halprin wants to allow the Islam religion to build a mosque and cultural center where none stood before but has not mentioned one word in support of St. Nicholas.

We get the picture and it is not a pretty one Mr. Halprin.

Time's Mark Halperin: 9/11 Families Need to Be Led Through a Discussion About the Ground Zero Mosque
By Matt Hadro (Bio | Archive)
Mon, 08/23/2010 - 15:33 ET

Time magazine's Mark Halperin engaged in the ultimate condescension Monday morning, arguing that families of 9/11 victims need to be guided by others into the Ground Zero mosque debate.

"For the families of the victims of 9/11, whatever emotions they want to have, I respect and I honor. But somebody needs to lead them through a discussion," Time's senior political analyst lectured on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." He mentioned a meeting that reportedly took place between the mosque's planners and the 9/11 families, which he insisted "needs to happen."

Halperin said the meeting "did not go well," but added it was and is necessary. "As I said before, whether it moves or stays, that discussion must happen. This must be done with reconciliation. And it's got to be led by leaders, not by people like Rick Lazio...and facts," Halperin noted.

The show picked up fresh from where it left off last week, bashing the supposedly inflammatory rhetoric from the right opposing the mosque and sympathizing – while disagreeing – with the families of 9/11 victims over the planned mosque two blocks away from Ground Zero.

Aerial photo of location for Islamic Mosque NEAR Ground Zero

Source: MichelleMalkin.com

The red square says it all as you see how close to the Ground Zero destruction and the Islamic Mosque NEAR Ground Zero really is.  This is what they consider two blocks away?  In fact it looks to be the 3rd building from Ground Zero.  Sure gives a different feel when you say 3rd building from Ground Zero versus two city blocks.  These definitely are not big blocks if they are blocks at all.

Imam Thanks Obama for his support of Ground Zero Mosque

On our tax dollars, the Imam Rauf is in Bahrain thanking Obama for is 'qualified' support for the Islamic Mosque near Ground Zero. Wonder how much money he collected while in Bahrain for the Islamic Mosque. Is the Imam on a fundraising mission for the Islamic Mosque as alleged?

Wonder what the White House staff surrounding Obama thinks of this thanks from Iman Rauf today which keeps the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque in the news?

Imam Thanks Obama
By Richard Sisk

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf used his taxpayer-funded Mideast tour yesterday to praise President Obama’s qualified support for the mosque near Ground Zero.

“I am grateful to President Barack Obama and all those who expressed support for our project,” Abdul Rauf said at a dinner for student leaders in the Gulf state of Bahrain. the Gulf Daily News in Bahrain reported.

Obama fueled the debate over the mosque with a White House speech defending the right to build the project, but hedged by saying he wouldn’t comment on the “wisdom” of its location.

Abdul Rauf also wryly noted that “We are in the media a lot these days due to one of our initiatives,” a reference to the planned Islamic cultural center including a mosque on Park Place two blocks north of Ground Zero.

The 62-year old Abdul Rauf said the purpose of his $16,000 State Department-sponsored swing through Bahrain, Qatar and Abu Dhabi was to set an example of religious tolerance to the youth of the region.

“We are doing all this for the next generation because when you reach my age you think of what you are leaving behind,” Abdul Rauf said.

Stephanie Wilson, deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy, said the Imam was also speaking about how Muslims were treated in the U.S.

“Imam Feisal is on a US-sponsored trip to discuss Muslim life in America and Ramadan is the perfect time to do so,” Wilson said, referring to the Muslim period of fasting and reflection.

Ground Zero Imam Says U.S. Worse than al-Qaeda

A picture is worth 1,000 words on the deficit!

Source:  Instapundit

Reminder:  Barack Hussein Obama took office in January 2009 and has been growing the deficits with the help of Reid and Pelosi ever since as witnessed on the chart.   In January 2009 the Democrats also took over the House and Senate by large margins.  In fact, in the House there is no way to stop the Democrats from passing anything they want which makes it ludicrous when they blame House Republicans as the Party of "NO" -- frankly we are extremely proud of the Republican House Members and their "NO" votes on the Stimulus, Obamacare, Cap and Trade, and every other bill that races the deficit.

Republicans didn't get an opportunity to vote "NO" on the budget because the House Democrats deemed the budget passed which is not allowed.  That didn't the Democrats from pushing it through under the leadership of Pelosi.  That way the Democrats didn't have to defend the budget against the deficit spending numbers before an election.  Once again smoke and mirrors by Obama Democrats expecting the American people to swallow their deemed budget is legitimate which is not happening.  Now the real numbers are out and what look louzy for Democrats is looking worse.  Their spending spree for the last 18 months is soon coming to a halt!

Job Creation? Obama puts it first in speeches and second or lower in his actions!

Obama talks a good talk when it comes to job creations as he reads from his teleprompter but when it comes to his actions to improve the job picture, he falls back on giving out more unemployment benefits -- after all Pelosi calls that 'job creation.'

Unemployment benefits are creating jobs faster than practically any other program, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday.
When you have someone as Speaker of the House who believes Govenment Unemployment benefits is creating jobs across America, you have just thrown common sense out the window. That seems to be a symptom of this Administration -- NO COMMON SENSE!

What Obama and his people have done to the states along the Gulf Coast especially Louisiana and Texas should be a crime. Putting a moratorium on drilling when a federal judge overruled them, but they reinstated it, should get them in front of the judge. I would throw Salazar in jail for contempt, but then that is me and probably a lot of others. The contempt this Administration has for the Rule of Law is mind boggling when it doesn't fit their Agenda.

Now Obama has announced he is going to New Orleans on the anniversary of Katrina. Alabama and Mississippi, states who were also hit hard, won't have to put up with an Obama visit which must make their Democrat candidates extremely happy. Want to bet his bashes President Bush in his speech? Not going to work because people of Louisiana who actually work on the rigs or in jobs that support oil drilling are not going to forget the Obama lack of interest with this Gulf spill and will remember the moratorium.

Watch him lift the moratorium and expect to be adored by Louisiana residents. The news media will be their usual adoring fan club for Obama about what he is doing for the Gulf ignoring everything he didn't do as they keep trying to fool the rest of us.

One thing he has done since being in the White House -- increased the awareness in golfing showing you can improve your golf game if you play it enough.

Jobs Take Second Place, Again
Jennifer Rubin - 08.23.2010 - 7:14 AM

The Obama team, we are told, can’t figure out how to stem unemployment. But actually, it seems they simply place job creation and preservation below other priorities. This report explains:

Senior Obama administration officials concluded the federal moratorium on deepwater oil drilling would cost roughly 23,000 jobs, but went ahead with the ban because they didn’t trust the industry’s safety equipment and the government’s own inspection process, according to previously undisclosed documents.

Critics of the moratorium, including Gulf Coast political figures and oil-industry leaders, have said it is crippling the region’s economy, and some have called on the administration to make public its economic analysis. A federal judge who in June threw out an earlier six-month moratorium faulted the administration for playing down the economic effects.
The Obama administration, the least transparent in history, however, has been actively misleading the court: ”The administration has said in court filings that the economic effect of suspended drilling wasn’t as severe as the industry asserted.” The administration turns out to have less credibility than Big Oil. (”An American Petroleum Institute spokesman said the documents show ‘the government itself understood there would be significant impacts felt throughout the region.’”)...

Obama has himself to blame for Muslim problem

When we first learned that Obama had become a 'Christian' at Rev Wright's Church of Christ, we began to question how he could sit in this church for 20+ years and not hear the black separatists message or acknowledge the fact the fact of Wright and Farrakhan's close relationship. If a black Christian minister hanging around together, traveling together, and giving the National of Islam leader Farrakhan an award doesn't make you go 'what?' nothing will.  That is exactly the relationship between Wright and Farrakhan who Obama also knew well.

Then the Obama campaign attacked all of us who questioned whether Obama was Muslim back then as it was common knowledge in Chicago that Rev Wright who was a former Muslim who was open to Muslims coming to his church pretending to be Christian for business purposes.  Why not for political purposes as well?

The fact that the Obama campaign insisted that Hussein, his middle name, not be used during the campaign but after he was elected, they embraced that name was another troubling problem about his link to Islam. Then we had the gotcha moment on ABC where he said Muslim and was corrected to Christian and the beautiful Islamic prayer moment all leading to many of us thinking his loyalties were to Islam, the religion of most of his Kenyan family. Since being elected, we have not changed our opinions and in fact, Obama's words and actions have strengthened our belief if he is not Muslim he leans very much toward the Islamic religion over Christianity and Jewish religions.

Obama has himself to blame for Muslim problem

In 1985, Barack Obama had just arrived in Chicago for his new job as a community organizer when he headed to Smitty’s Barbershop, a tiny storefront on the South Side. As Smitty cut his hair, Obama listened to the men in the shop talk politics and racial grievance. When the barber finished, he handed Obama a mirror and said, “Haircut’s ten dollars. What’s your name, anyway?”

“Barack, huh,” Smitty responded. “You a Muslim?”

“Grandfather was,” Obama said, according to his memoir Dreams From My Father.

Smitty’s question, which Obama didn’t exactly answer, prefigured a controversy that continues to this day.

A new poll by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life shows that 18 percent of Americans believe Obama is a Muslim. That is up from the 12 percent who believed that in October 2008, just before Obama was elected president.

At the same time, the number of Pew respondents who say Obama is a Christian — in Dreams From My Father, he describes his conversion to Christianity under the tutelage of Rev. Jeremiah Wright — has declined from 51 percent in October 2008 to 34 percent now. And the number of people who say they don’t know Obama’s religion is growing, from 32 percent back then to 43 percent today.

The White House blames the situation on a “misinformation campaign” from Obama’s opponents. But Obama and his aides might also blame themselves for the way they’ve handled the Muslim issue over the years.

The question did not come out of nowhere. As Obama said, his grandfather was a Muslim. His father was raised a Muslim before becoming, by Obama’s account, “a confirmed atheist.” Obama’s stepfather was a Muslim. His half-sister Maya told the New York Times that her “whole family was Muslim.”

Obama spent two years in a Muslim school in Indonesia and later, in a conversation with the Times’ Nicholas Kristof, described the Arabic call to prayer, the beginning of which he recited by heart, as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.” Given all that, it is entirely accurate and fair to describe Obama as having Muslim roots.

Who are religious bigots? Muslims or Americans?

This Sunday morning in looking for news articles we found article from the from the Washington Examiner, Muslims not Americans are Religious Bigots discussing Time magazine's article asking if we were religious bigots for opposing the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque.

FYI we will continue to say Ground Zero as one of the landing gears from the hijacked planes that murdered over 2600 people in NYC landed on the roof of this building where they want to build the mosque and crashed through the roof which makes it collateral damage from the act of war on the United States that happened at Ground Zero on 9/11.

This idea that we should not use Ground Zero to describe the Islamic Mosque but use 'near' Ground Zero is ridiculous. If that is the case, maybe we should start referring to the Statue of Liberty as near New York City as it sits on Liberty Island which belongs to the US Park Service in the New York Harbor. The Statue of Liberty is much farther away from NYC in the Harbor than the Islamic Mosque is to Ground Zero.

In researching Islam and the Ground Zero Mosque at Time magazine we came up with numerous articles mostly we would consider favoring the Muslim view the mosque needs buildt in the proposed location. Bottom line is that Time is still carrying the water for Obama. What bothered us the most in all the articles was the one by Grover Norquist who Time considers a Conservative Republican.  Norquist was lecturing Republicans on their opposition to the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque and why it is bad for Republicans. We would beg to differ as does the American Thinker along with other Conservative Republicans:

Grover Norquist's Jihad"

Grover Norquist's ties to Islamic supremacists and jihadists have been known for years. He and his Palestinian wife, Samah Alrayyes -- who was director of communications for his Islamic Free Market Institute until they married in 2005 -- are very active in "Muslim outreach." Just six weeks after 9/11, The New Republic ran an exposé explaining how Norquist arranged for George W. Bush to meet with fifteen Islamic supremacists at the White House on September 26, 2001 -- to show how Muslims rejected terrorism.

It was Norquist who ushered these silver-tongued jihadists into the Oval Office of an incurious president after the worst attack ever on American soil. Instead of Hamas, Hezb'allah, and the Muslim Brotherhood, Ibn Warraq, Bat Ye'or, and Wafa Sultan should have been advising the president. Instead, at that September 26 meeting, Bush declared that "the teachings of Islam are teachings of peace and good." It was a critically important, historic incident. What should have been the most important teaching moment of the long war became a propaganda tool for Islam. A singular opportunity was squandered, and the resulting harm is incalculable.

Bush did this because he trusted Norquist, who vouched for these Muslim leaders. Yet "the record suggests," wrote Foer, "that [Norquist] has spent quite a lot of time promoting people openly sympathetic to Islamist terrorists."
In this article from the American Thinker you will discover where the loyalties of Norquist lie -- hint -- it is not 100% to America.  Yet he is the person that Time uses to describe how Republicans are wrong on the Ground Zero Mosque. To put Norquist comments on Time in perspective, Frank Gaffney, head of the Center for Security Policy in the article revealed:

Grover Norquist was on the Islamic payroll before and after the carnage of September 11. Gaffney revealed Norquist's close ties to Abdurahman Alamoudi, who is now serving twenty-three years in prison for financing jihad activity
Recommend when you see Grover Norquist chastising Republicans about opposition to the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque, you ignore his comments because they are worth zero, zip, nada!

Islamic Jihadists under Bin Laden and Al Qaeda declared war on America just like the Japanese did on December 7th, 1941. The attack on the USS Cole on October 12, 2000, was the lead-up to 9/11.  After Al Qaeda attacked the USS Cole that was anchored at the Port of Aden, what did Clinton do in response to the Cole attack?

Why was the Bush Administration given so little time to transition by the Clinton Administration after the election? Why the fight in Florida by Gore after he had conceded? Clinton wouldn't allow the Bush transition team into buildings set aside for weeks.  When they finally got in the White House and Executive Office Building, the Clinton employees had left the offices in shambles. All of that plus the stalling of appointees by the Democrats led to an Administration that did not get off on solid footing.  Then throw in the lack of information exchanged from the Clinton people about Bin Laden and Al Qaeda, and you have a situation that culminated in the 9/11 attacks by the Islamic Jihadists -- members of the same religion that wants to build the Islamic Mosque at Ground Zero.

When you look at the history, Islamists have built mosques in places where they have conquered for centuries. Having Obama replace President Bush gave the Muslims the opening the Islamists needed to build this Mosque at Ground Zero. Why isn't the media calling this an Islamic Mosque because that is exactly what it is. You cannot bury the fact it is Islamic just like you cannot bury the fact that two people in Afghanistan were stoned to death this week for having an affair in defiance of Shariah Law. This is Shariah Law that the Islamists want to bring into America. As we reported earlier, they already control AIG where Sharia Law is recognized and the company bailed out by the Obama Administration which was 'too big to fail' or was it bailed out because it is owned by Muslims?

America Taxpayer - Financial Jihadist

It is “financial jihad,” explained Yusuf Qaradawi, the Muslim Brotherhood’s sharia compass — and the man Feisal Rauf, the brains behind the proposed Ground Zero mosque, admires as “the most well-known legal authority in the whole Muslim world today.” It was 2002 and Qaradawi, who endorses suicide bombing and the targeting of American personnel operating in Islamic countries, was giving a lecture on the need to use the international financial system to support Islamist goals — like Hamas’s war to destroy Israel.
The bottom line is that Americans have a right to be concerned about the Muslim push to build this Islamic Mosque near Ground Zero due to their history.  The New York Port authority will not allow St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church to rebuild their Church. Where is their religious freedom for St. Nicholas that Obama and others are touting for the Islamic Mosque?

Muslims, not Americans, are religious bigots
August 20, 2010

According to an article in Time magazine, there has been no increase in violence against Muslims since the announcement of plans to build a mosque near Ground Zero. (Alan Diaz/AP)

Time magazine asked this week whether America has “a Muslim problem,” and suggested that “many” of those opposed to the Ground Zero mosque “are motivated by deep-seated Islamophobia.” The same article scowls disapprovingly that “46% of Americans believe Islam is more likely than other faiths to encourage violence against nonbelievers.” (What could have possibly given them that idea?)

But, as the article concedes, there has been no increase in violence against Muslims. In reality, Americans remain fastidiously tolerant of all religions, even one that inspired 19 fanatics to hijack four commercial airliners on 9/11 and kill more than 3,000 Americans in the bloodiest attack in our nation’s history. Time requires a peculiar sort of blindness to see so much imagined intolerance in America — especially based solely on “anecdotal evidence” — while nearly ignoring the religious intolerance in most Islamic countries. A group of triumphalist Muslims seeks to erect an Islamic center near Ground Zero in a city that already has 100 mosques, and they face, at worst, disapproval, stern looks and calls to relocate their project.

Contrast this with a news report by journalist Mindy Belz in the current issue of World magazine, concerning Afghanistan’s small community of Christian converts. Belz describes how an Afghan television station recently broadcast a video of a baptismal service, sparking riots in the streets of Kabul and leading to the arrest of 25 Christians. Nobody knows at this time the fate of those arrested. Because it is illegal for Muslims to convert in Afghanistan — as it is in most Islamic countries — people who choose any other faith face the death penalty. Adherents of other religions, meanwhile, are subject to official discrimination and persecution, despite guarantees to the contrary in Afghanistan’s constitution. Thus, the plight of Christians is shared in many Islamic countries by Buddhists, Baha’is, Hindus and Zoroastrians.
