Just who is this RE TEA PARTY sending out Cain's Ad for money for 9-9-9?

I received an email from a group called the RE Tea Party this afternoon -- it is not Tea Party Express, TP Nation or TP Patriots.  This was one group I had never heard the name and with a name like RE Tea Party, I would have definitely remembered.  The email irritated me to no end because I had never signed up to be on their email list so I decided to take a look at just who was running this group.  When I went to the site, I could not locate who was in charge which I thought odd.  I decided to go to Who Is Lookup to find who was behind RE Tea Party.  Surprise, surprise:

Imagine my shock when I found Meet-Up and Re Tea Party were related.  Somewhere in the back of my brain I knew it was a liberal that started Meet-Up and found out he is still there.

Scott Heiferman the founder of MeetUp looks to have ties to Soros as he keeps popping up to speak at Soros events.  If Heiferman is the CEO of Meet-Up what relationship does he have to RE TeaParty?  Are the liberals using RE TeaParty to push Cain as the easiest for Obama to beat? Am I being too paranoid?

Since I kept finding links to Heiferman speaking at events with other Soros 'friends', I decided to look further and found this:

The independent events, some simply community discussions, have been loosely tracked with Facebook, Google maps and links lists. Now, group meeting platform Meetup.com is assisting the protesters in their grassroots efforts. 

“We were contacted by the good people at Meetup.com, who got in touch because they heard we were in need of some technical assistance and advice,” says a blog post on Occupy Together, a site linked by Occupy Wall Street websites and protest publication The Occupied Wall Street Journal‘s Kickstarter page. “Little did we know we’d go from listing 4-5 locations in one night to receiving hundreds of emails in a day. We were slowing the flow of information because us volunteers weren’t able to keep up.”

Meetup previously worked with activist magazine Adbusters, an early organizer of the protests, on a project called “buy nothing day,” according to Meetup VP of community and strategy Andres Glusman. Adbusters made the introduction between Meetup and Occupy Together, which ultimately decided to use the platform’s free organizing tool, Meetup Everywhere.

Then looked even further and discovered The Social Networking Behind Egypt's Unrest.  As I am reading this and thinking that some of this is starting to make sense, I read this paragraph:

At the opening reception last night, hosted at Google’s headquarters, I met a smart bunch of people from organizations such as Blue State Digital (which ran Obama’s online campaign), Howcast, Middle East peace activists One Voice, and the East London-based Young Foundation. 

But the highlight is an A-list bunch of conference speakers at the conference today and tomorrow — including Jack Dorsey of Twitter, Sir Martin Sorrell of WPP, Scott Heiferman of MeetUp, as well as top people from Google, YouTube and the World Bank. Other keynote speakers include Jeremy Gilley, the former actor who founded Peace One Day, and Joe Rospars, who was the new-media director for Obama for America. 

You can sense the scale of their practical ambition from the title of some of the sessions: one is called Tech Solutions to Repressive Regimes.

Google and the State Department appear to feel very confident about their role in assisting global uprisings, but we might have a few suggestions. In their next AYM Summit, they might want to consider adding some workshops on the backgrounds of the participants they are training and considering who might come in to fill the void left by the people they dispose. Just a thought.

As it is, this social networking experiment has taken a dangerous turn and leaves us wondering which country might be next on the list for a little “social networking.” 

Our State Department and Google are adding to the unrest in the Middle East?  Where is our media on all of this or don't they consider meddling in the affairs of a foreign country important?

Mr. Heiferman said that although he had a personal interest in Occupy Together, Meetup was a politically neutral tool. “We believe that whenever people are organizing and getting together, that’s a good thing,” he said. “I met with Glenn Beck last year.” 

We know Ron Paul people use Meetup but did you know there are a number of Democrat Ron Paul Meetup sites?  Is that why he does well in polls but not at the ballot box?  More on that as more information is discovered.

Here you have the email that started all the research because I didn't recognize their name.  How many Tea Party groups that have sprung up are actually fronts for Democrats?  That is why we have thought the local Tea Party was the only way to go and nothing at the national level.  After we have found out about Re Tea Party we are even more convinced.  At local level you know the people or you can find out who they are but at the National level you have no clue their real ideology.

The $64,000 question is what do the Koch Brothers have to do with all this on Cain as it has been rumored they are using Americans for Prosperity to support Cain?  More research for another day but I am not alone as other sites are picking up on there is something wrong with the National Tea Party movement.

The Pink Flamingo blog has been putting the puzzle pieces together on the Tea Party movement financed by Fox for sometime but this gives a whole new dimension to what the Tea Party is all about.

Here is the email that set off the research which is filled with spin about the Cain 9-9-9 plan which some people would call lies:

IndyMac Attack: Did Schumer, Paulson, Soros, and the CRL Kill the Bank and Profit From Its Collapse?

We know that Soros will do anything to make a buck, but just how crooked is Charles Schumer, Senator from New York. His fingerprints seem to be all over this along with trying to do away with filibuster rules on Senate. Who died and made him king?

Maybe the US Attorney for the Southern Region of New York should be looking into the business dealings of Chuck Schumer and Wall Street financial guru's who seems to be playing fast and lose with the rules. Yet these people are the ones writing the new laws on banking for their cronies on Wall Street?

Schumer said not to blame him for the Indy Mac collaspe but Bloomberg didn't agree according to their article:

Schumer expressed concern that the bank might fail in a letter and then says he takes no responsibility. Is Schumer party to all of the shenanigans going on in the financial sector that has cost the American Taxpayers millions and most likely billions of dollars if we were ever given a complete accounting? We think Schumer is, and once again state we think he should be investigated along with Dodd. We are still having a hard time getting our hands around the fact that President Bush used the advise of Democrats like Schumer for Treasury Secretary Paulson CEO of Goldman Sachs and Bernacke for the Head of the Federal Reserve -- WHY? We didn't understand it at the time and still don't.

All we know is that there should have been a major investigation launched into all these ties that crisscross since the Congress has wasted so much of our tax dollars bailing financial entities out. Thanks to Big Government for beginning to shine the light on the truth.

IndyMac Attack: Did Schumer, Paulson, Soros, and the CRL Kill the Bank and Profit From Its Collapse?

At the end of 2007, hedge fund billionaire John Paulson invested $15 million in the leftist non-profit, Center for Responsible Lending, their largest single donation ever. Around the same time, Paulson and his employees contributed over $100,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, headed, at the time, by Sen. Chuck Schumer. Roughly six months later, CRL and Sen. Schumer both launched a highly public attack on the California-based mortgage lender, Indymac. The lender failed, wiping out the investment of thousands of people. Roughly six months after that, John Paulson, in partnership with George Soros, bought up the remnants of Indymac for pennies on the dollar.

It is a drama that no longer surprises us, unfortunately. Wealthy investors use their access to elected officials and their checkbook to advocacy groups for private profit. But this story has a twist; a top executive of CRL when this deal went down, Eric Stein, is now working at the Treasury Department, heading up the proposed Consumer Financial Protection Agency. Mr. Stein will be the chief federal official designing regulations to protect consumers. Right.

This is that story.



Financial crises create opportunities. Prudent and discerning entrepreneurs who save their capital for a rainy day are able to acquire assets at firesale prices and put these assets to higher and better uses. Market forces cleanse wasteful malinvestments, innovative business models make existing ones obsolete and the economy roars forward all the stronger for it.

But while market entrepreneurs generally prosper during times of great dislocation, ultimately to the benefit of all participants in the economy, today political entrepreneurs have hijacked the economic system. The politically connected elites have used this downturn to carry out a massive wealth transfer from the people to the public and private sectors, fleecing the middle class for their own enrichment. In their hypocrisy, the long ago small businesses that grew large because of free markets have helped chain these markets through lobbying for regulations and subsidies to shield themselves from competition and their own errors.

BREAKING: Released Emails Show Wind Lobby, Soros Group Helped with White House PR (PJM Exclusive — Read the Emails Here)

A lot of people have thought for sometime that Soros is one of the people behind Obama. It still makes us wonder what made him go away from the Hillary Clinton camp to Obama for the Presidential election. It brings out even more questions when you consider Obama was the ONLY candidate Soros met with in 2004 when he was running for Senate. Why didn't Soros meet with John Kerry?

The emails show that the Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) coordinated their response to a damning Spanish report on “green jobs” with wind industry lobbyists and the Center for American Progress (the progressive think tank founded by John Podesta and funded by George Soros).

The report from Spain’s Universidad Rey Juan Carlos — which was the subject of a George Will column in the Washington Post on June 25, 2009 — showed each “green job” that had been added by Spain’s aggressive wind energy program cost Spain nearly $800,000 and resulted in the loss of 2.2 jobs elsewhere in the economy.
Eight times, Obama had publicly referred to Spain’s program as being a model for a U.S. wind energy program.

The 900 pages of emails, obtained by the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Christopher C. Horner, show staff members from the DoE’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and the EPA developing a response to the report. They also show them coordinating the response with the Center for American Progress, plus the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) and the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) — two wind industry lobbyist groups.

What the emails show runs contrary to statements made to Congress by the Assistant Secretary of Energy Cathy Zoi — the Obama administration response to the Spanish report was in fact instigated at the request of the AWEA. It was then written with the close cooperation of the AWEA, the Center for American Progress, and the Union of Concerned Scientists.

The emails concentrate on the political implications of the Spanish study — and how to discredit it.

There also appears to have been significant pressure to publish an internal report from the NREL as a DoE report — bypassing the internal review and publication procedures — and to do so quickly.

The emails suggest that wind industry lobbyists and political organizations have significant behind-the-scenes influence on scientific reports from the Obama administration. This contradicts Obama’s insistence that his administration would get the politics out of science. It also calls into question the objectivity and quality of the information they provided to Congress.

Powerline: Follow the Money (Oil)

We would like to thank a reader of this site who sent us the link to this with the comments "why Obama is screwing Oklahoma and Texas." Those words tell it like it is.

This is one more example that Obama is the puppet of George Soros. Obama and Congress give Brazil money for offshore development while American domestic producers are on their own. In fact this Administration wants to tax them more that will put small oil development firms out of business. We have plenty of oil fields in this Country waiting to be developed especially with the new technology but it is hard for producers to get the money to do the development. Instead they are watching their tax dollars and ours be sent to Brazil for development.

Why are Democrats so loathe to investing money into developing United States oil and gas fields instead of sending money overseas? Do they hate Oklahoma and Texas that much because we are the recipients of their heavy handed tactics against oil and gas producers?

All you have to do is drive around Oklahoma and compare wells that are pumping today to ones that were pumping during the Pres Bush years. Even at Will Rogers World Airport there is a noticeable decrease in the amount of pumps active when you drive by the oil fields from Nov 2008 until Nov 2009. Why not spend more money on exploring for American natural gas which is a clean fuel?

Some of our oil workers have headed to PA which happens to be a Blue State to help in developing some fields there.

Makes one scratch their head at why the Democrats will not fund oil and gas exploration but will not hesitate to send money to Brazil to do the same. How many Democrats in Congress owe their election to George Soros and ACORN voter fraud? We know the President partially owes his election to Soros -- how much ACORN voter fraud affected his election we will never know although we have suspicions that voter fraud affected the outcome of the Democrat primary.

It should be against the law to send money to a foreign county to develop oil resources when we have plenty of oil and gas fields to be developed right in the United States including ANWR.

As we have noted many times, the United States is the only country in the world that deliberately fails to develop its own energy resources. Other than instituting price controls, this is the single most destructive economic policy that a country can pursue, which is why no one does it except us.

Brazil has one of the world's most dynamic economies and is pursuing petroleum development on a grand scale. The Washington Post reports:

Everything about the shipyard here is colossal -- the 4,000-man workforce, the billions sunk into it in capital costs, the half-finished 10-story-high production platforms.

But then, so is the challenge facing Brazil's state-controlled energy company, Petrobras: developing a group of newly discovered deep-sea oil fields that energy analysts say will catapult this country into the ranks of the world's petro-powers. The oil pools are 200 miles out in the Atlantic and more than four miles down, under freezing seas, rock and a heavy cap of salt.

Petrobras, which until recently was little known outside oil circles, has launched a five-year, $174 billion project to provide platforms, rigs, support vessels and drilling systems to develop tens of billions of barrels of oil. Energy officials here project that Brazil -- still an oil importer five years ago -- will in the next decade have one of the world's biggest oil reserves.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that if our government pursues policies intended to slow our economic growth, and Brazil pursues policies designed to accelerate its economic growth, before long Brazil will be richer than the U.S. What's really interesting here, however, is the identity of one of Petrobras's biggest shareholders:

With a market capitalization of more than $220 billion, Petrobras is one of the world's 10 biggest companies. Over the past two years, it has been the most frequently traded foreign company on the New York Stock Exchange, trade data show. Among investors bullish on Petrobras is George Soros, who last year made the oil company the largest single holding in his investment fund, according to Bloomberg.

That's right: the Godfather of the Democratic Party, who exerts his enormous political influence to prevent American oil companies from developing our own petroleum resources in the Gulf of Mexico and elsewhere, has placed his biggest bet--not on the United States, but on Brazil. If Exxon Mobil can't compete in the Caribbean with Petrobras, the value of Soros's Petrobras investment will skyrocket. That's the sort of thievery that lies behind the Democratic Party's deliberate hobbling of the American economy.

Facts about Liberal Billionaire George Soros

Thanks to a Free Republic poster who posted this tonight. We have believed all along that Soros is behind the manipulation of the markets, banks, and currency to tank the United States like he tanked other countries. As a Freeper brought up about Bush and TARP it makes you wonder but not too hard when you realize that money was stolen electronically. One name comes to mind to anyone who has done any researach -- George Soros.

George Soros manipulation to get Barack Obama elected and not let anything go to chance started when he made sure Obama had enough money to self fund his campaign and not take federal money even though he promised he would so they could manipulate contributions. They turned off the security numbers of prepurchased cards which is against the law and would bet money that it was Soros money who bought the cards. Their plans to take out Hillary with voter fraud in the primary but mostly in the caucus system had already been put in place. Believe the Clintons know she was robbed and Obama's meeting with Bill Clinton was to get her the Secretary of State job that Obama's wife did not want Hillary to have.

Then to make sure everything went smooth he set ACORN loose on America with plenty of money to make sure in close states they had enough manufactured votes to turn them Blue. Obama didn't draw the crowds, Sarah Palin did over and over again. Her crowds were not manufactured but Obama's were bused in sometimes from other states.

How did the GOP lose so many seats in Congress starting in 2006 -- ACORN voter fraud in close elections. Soros had to have a total Democrat Congress including seeing Mickey Mouse vote in Orlando. We believe that the 2006 George Allen race in VA was stolen by ACORN. Records being recovered in several states show their plans to take over the various states and then the Country. We know Soros money is behind ACORN and their massive voter fraud effort to give Obama a filibuster proof congress. When Franken in MN came close, they manufactured more votes and got the courts to give him his uneared victory.

Now we know about ACORN voter fraud and what Soros is up to, the outcry against this Administration and their move toward socialism is only going to get worse. Americans will not take having our freeoms taken away because some powerbroker has decided his money can guy anything he wants including the Presidency and the Congress. ACORN is being investigated in the States because frankly the DOJ under Holder is not trustworthy.

Soros should be in prison for his money manipulation around the World but instead he is the puppetmaster to the Presisident of the United States. How much did Soros pay to have all the records sealed so no one would know where Obama was born, anything about his school records including if he went to college on foreign scholarships that has been alleged, and why nothing of his writings? We even found thanks to investigation by Jack Cashill 'Dreams of my Father' was written by Bill Ayers with some antedots in the book not even belong to Obama but what does our Obama media do? Goes MIA!

Obama may be attempting to silency the health insurance companies, Fox News and anyone who gets in his way, but the American people are not going to continue to stand to have our freedoms limited. This is America, Home of the Free and Home of the Brave and we intend to keep it that way.

Republicans, Democrats, and Independents of all walks of life, races, and backgrounds are coming together to say no to the federal takeover of everything Obama can get his hands on. Please stand up and JUST SAY NO to OBAMACARE and CAP and TRADE and start to turn this Country around in November 2010. Send the ACORN elected House and Senate members back to their respective states to the end of the umployment line as they have been bought and paid for by George Soros in our opinion. It will take six years to get all of the ACORN voter elected Senators out but we can do it. We are sick and tired of what Soros has done to the Democrat Party by using it as a front to do his dirty work and now time for all of us to work together to take back America.

Lifelong Republican but the Democrat Party was the loyal opposition until the Democrats decided to sell themselves out to have voter fraud help them win. When we say Democrats for Sale we are talking about today's Democrats not the earlier Democrats like David Boren, Sam Nunn, Carl Albert, Sam Rayburn, and others who would stand for what is right no matter the party in days gone by. Now we are left with Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi who would sell their mothers if it gave them power. Democrats have been manipulated into giving all their power to the Progressives who want destroy America as we know it today. Know a lot of Democrats that didn't want Obama anymore then Republicans so how did he win by so much?

Every voter list in this Country needs to be checked for fraud, motor voter done away with, and photo ID required to vote. Voting is too precious to have a group of community organizers hire people to commit voter fraud like ACORN. At least now states are starting to file charges against ACORN. We are wondering if Oklahoma's Governor Henry and AG Edmonson will do a thing to see them prosecuted since Henry was a kneepadder for Obama. Will they put Party ahead of what is the right thing to do. Our bet is YES!

Soros' background is frightening to say the least. This is a start on Soros but there is a lot more come on just how he bought himself a President and tanked our economy. Now we find it hard to believe that Obama will send the necessary troops to Afghanistan because Soros is against it. The jury is out whether Obama will continue to sacrifice our troops to make Soros happy.

What Soros Wanted, Obama Delivers

The chilling fact of Soros being the puppetmaster of Obama is his ability to use his vast monetary resources for evil not good. When researching Soros, you discover time and time again his penchant for destroying economies and currency like some mad scientist. Now the United States is his target. Soros and his foundations will do whatever possible to take down the United States in our opinion.

How much of Obama's campaign was financed with Soros money? There was no tracking as they turned off the security feature on credit cards. We know money poured in from non-US citizens overseas but nothing was done to stop the flow. FEC is a bad joke with their slaps on the hand but no real investigation of Obama.

When Obama was the ONLY candidate that Soros met personally with in 2004, the red flags should have gone off. Soros couldn't buy enough votes to get Kerry elected but they figured out a way to take an inexperienced, voting 'present,' candidate and use his rhetoric of 'hope' and 'change' to get him elected as the first black President. If you didn't vote for him, you were racist. Why did Soros dump Hillary Clinton who seems to be doing his bidding now as Secretary of State? Soros has been able to get his agenda moved forward by Obama since before Obama became President.

Obama is nothing but a figurehead for the radical 'socialist' agenda of progressives/radicals like the Hungarian Soros, Bill Ayers, Bernadette Dohrn, Rev Wright, Louis Farrakhan, Valerie Jarrett, Axelrod, Emmanuel, former Czar Jones to name a few. He is their puppet but the main puppetmaster is George Soros who wants to take away Freedoms and make us distribute our wealth around the world.

How can Soros continue to manipulate the dollar and markets with no one in the Government doing an investigation. It is not like he doesn't have a track record of tanking economies and currency in Europe. Nevermind, they did nothing when the Clinton Administration manipulated the stock market to keep it from correcting by using Government resources.

Every day we sit here in amazement at the fact that the Democrats not only were for sale to get the Presidency but they are selling out our Country in the process. How many Democrats elected in 2006 and 2008 are in Congress because of ACORN voter fraud that was rampant across America? What does Rahm Emmanuel know about the ACORN voter fraud? We suspect plenty. How much money did Soros and his shady groups donate to help make ACORN Voter Fraud a reality in 2006 and 2008 and probably before then is our guess. Democrat Party Leadership and Progressives we believe are bought and paid for by George Soros and his ilk. When Soros says jump, they all say "How High?"

What Soros Wanted, Obama Delivers

In January 2004, George Soros proclaimed to the world, "I have made rejection of the Bush doctrine the central project of my life." To which he added, "America, under Bush, is a danger to the world. And I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is." Soros then waged a nearly one-wallet war against Bush, put more than $25 million of his own cash into Kerry's election bid and came out of the whole gambit with a tattered I-Voted-for-the-other-guy t-shirt.

In 2006, Soros declared in a depressive-mood pity party at the Council on Foreign Relations: "In the future, I'd very much like to get disengaged from politics. I'm interested in policy and not in politics."

If only he had stayed depressed and kept to his better intention.
But no such luck would come America's way.

Soros supported Barack Obama's candidacy, telling Judy Woodruff in May 2008, "...Obama has the charisma and the vision to radically reorient America in the world." When Woodruff queried Soros on whether it might be a concern that Obama lacked experience to lead in this dangerous time we live in, Soros responded, "...this emphasis on experience is way overdone..."

Experience was actually far underrated in that contest, but we'll have to save that subject for another day.

Now, it would seem that all Soros wanted, Barack Obama is delivering.

On "reorienting America in the world," President Obama started doing that before he even won election with his people-of-the-world speech in Berlin:

The walls between old allies on either side of the Atlantic cannot stand. The walls between the countries with the most and those with the least cannot stand. The walls between races and tribes; natives and immigrants; Christian and Muslim and Jew cannot stand. These now are the walls we must tear down.

These words were surely music to Soros' ears as he has been a lifelong Esperantist in the footsteps of his father. Soros is one of the world's few native Esperanto speakers and was wont to quell his youthful depression in London's famous speaker's corner, proclaiming the virtues of creating the Esperantist version of the tower of Babel in the modern world. No American president thus far has professed more affinity for this absurd goal than Barack Obama. And he even has the preemptively awarded Nobel Peace Prize to prove it. Whether George Soros had anything to do with the award, we might never know, but it seems mighty darned fishy and definitely in keeping with both Soros' international influence and his aim of "reorienting America in the world."

And, lo and behold, that's precisely what President Obama has set out to do since day one. Obama, too, sees global poverty as the root cause of all evil in the world, including crime, war and terrorism. His single piece of signature legislation in the Senate was a bill that would authorize an additional $845 billion from American tax payers to eradicate global poverty, and legislate a demand on future presidents to bring America in line with UN mandates on percentage of national GDP given to fight global poverty.

In addition, Obama agreed at the G20 summit in April to give more money to the International Monetary Fund (of which Soros is a huge fan), and then slipped billions of cash and a $100 billion line of credit for the IMF into the emergency war-funding bill passed this spring.

It has taken Soros much longer than he perhaps anticipated to bring down the U.S. dollar. By 2003, Soros was already predicting the downfall of the dollar. In a CNBC interview, amid a slump in the dollar's value against the euro, Soros added fuel to that fire by stating that he was already selling dollars. His statement, in turn, caused a further decline in the international worth of the dollar.

But this much is certain. Soros has long thought America far too powerful, and has seen the dollar's supremacy as every bit as dangerous to his internationalist schemes as our military strength. So far, President Barack Obama has done nothing whatsoever which would seem at odds with those scheming Soros doctrines.
If all of this does not hint at a shadow presidency with a powerful oligarch pulling the strings on a neophyte president, I honestly don't know what would.
Now, if someone could only burst Soros' self-inflated bubble before he has a chance to burst ours, we just might pull out of this unfolding nightmare.

Why are we not surprised that after the meeting with Obama in NYC, former President Bill Clinton comes out and calls Conservatives once again "Members of the Vast Ring Conservatives." Guess he still blames Conservatives for his lying to the grand jury. What is it with Dems that always have to blame Conservatives when they are caught in scandals? Now Podesta has been charged with making the ACORN scandal disappear. Not going to happen. It is going to continue to grow.

ACORN voter fraud was just announced in Oklahoma today that released info on computer records that show a tie in between the Dem candidate for Senate Andrew Rice and the local ACORN office in OKC. An interesting connection is the fact that two of George Soros consultants were members of the Rice team.

Does that mean in Oklahoma if you take out ACORN voter fraud that Obama would have received less then 34% of the votes in Oklahoma? It sure cannot mean any more counties going against Obama because every Oklahoma County went for McCain. Guess Oklahomans knew something the rest of the Country is just realizing -- Obama was not Presidential material because of lack of experience and ties with extreme leftist.

A telling event occurred on Sept. 15, Day 6 of the drip, drip, drip ACORN video rollout. President Obama met for lunch with former President Bill Clinton at trendy Il Mulino in New York City.

For the second consecutive day, the New York Post featured the ACORN scandal on its cover - complete with James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles in their outrageous "pimp and ho" costumes.

Does anyone think the president and the former president were unaware that the city in which they were dining was mesmerized by the ACORN scandal - especially since ACORN had bragged that its employees had kicked Mr. O'Keefe and Ms. Giles out of their New York office?

The Sept. 15 edition of the New York Post explored the political angles and directed attention to the Brooklyn District Attorney's investigation into why an ACORN office in its jurisdiction helped instruct a prospective brothel owner how to hide his prostitution proceeds in a tin in his backyard.

No one in the morally superior media world has asked, why did Mr. Obama have lunch with Mr. Clinton that day? So let me take a guess, and it seems like an obvious answer. Mr. Obama, under siege by a video-a-day expose that was exposing the Democratic Party to an avalanche of consequences (ACORN defunded in the House and Senate, ACORN delinked from the census, etc.), needed advice from the last president to navigate through a major political scandal.

On this day, neither the president or the former president, nor the media knew how many more videos were coming.

The next day, Clinton Chief of Staff John Podesta, the Democratic Party's top fix-it guy with control over much of the left's well-funded vast attack machinery (think George Soros, the Tides Foundation, et al.), was among a small advisory group placed in charge of investigating the matter.

With the mainstream media continuing to ignore the evidence on the tapes, Mr. Podesta is now clearly in charge of feeding them information about his well-structured investigation into the investigators. The ACORN internal probe is a "war room" aimed at destroying the messengers and is not meant to clean up major corruption.

Since Mr. Podesta was appointed to investigate ACORN, the only thing investigated has been the investigators, Mr. O'Keefe, Ms. Giles and the publisher of the journalism behind it, yours truly.

Voters are saying nuts to ACORN, A Rasmussen poll on voter attitudes towards ACORN today shows that 51% of voters want the government to stop funding ACORN.

"A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 17% favor continued taxpayer support of the Association for Community Organizations for Reform

Now. Thirty-two percent (32%) are not sure."

Not only do a majority of voters want to cut off funding for ACORN, the details show a negative "passion index" deeper than the Grand Canyon.

Only 15% of voters now have even a somewhat favorable opinion of ACORN, while 67% have an unfavorable view of the group. Those figures include only three percent (3%) with a very favorable opinion and 47% with a very unfavorable view.

Last month there was much criticism over the fact that President Obama agreed to give Brazilian Owned Oil Company Petrobras up to $10 Billion Dollars to look for Oil off the Brazil Coast. This was especially disturbing when you consider that they Administration objects to the US Drilling off its own coast, which will work toward keeping the price of oil low and help wean us off foreign oil.

Why would the POTUS pay for a foreign country to drill for oil but object to his own country taking advantage of his own country's resources? Payback.

Last week Hot Air discovered that "coincidentally" just a few days before the announcement of the US Oil Exploration Aid, Friend of Barack, George Soros, set himself up to make a lot more money from Brazilian Oil Exploration..

NICE! Making money on the spread, and putting himself in a position to make more money from higher dividends just before all the big bucks "donation" from President Obama. Soros must be master of the deal or Obama is the master of the quid quo pro.

The U.S. is going to lend billions of dollars to Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration of the huge offshore discovery in Brazil's Tupi oil field in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro. Brazil's planning minister confirmed that White House National Security Adviser James Jones met this month with Brazilian officials to talk about the loan. The U.S. Export-Import Bank tells us it has issued a "preliminary commitment" letter to Petrobras in the amount of $2 billion and has discussed with Brazil the possibility of increasing that amount. Ex-Im Bank says it has not decided whether the money will come in the form of a direct loan or loan guarantees. Either way, this corporate foreign aid may strike some readers as odd, given that the U.S. Treasury seems desperate for cash and Petrobras is one of the largest corporations in the Americas.

But look on the bright side. If President Obama has embraced offshore drilling in Brazil, why not in the old U.S.A.? The land of the sorta free and the home of the heavily indebted has enormous offshore oil deposits, and last year ahead of the November elections, with gasoline at $4 a gallon, Congress let a ban on offshore drilling expire. Kenya's two month political crisis may finally be coming to a close with the announcement last week of a power-sharing deal between President Mwai Kibaki and challenger Raila Odinga. With some 1,000 dead and an estimated 600,000 people displaced since the disputed December 27 election, we can only hope the deal holds. Meantime, it's worth pondering how the country that until last year was touted as an African success story became its latest tragedy.

Which brings us to the World Bank. Just days after the election, the bank made itself notorious when Colin Bruce, its country director in Nairobi, wrote a memo reportedly endorsing Mr. Kibaki's claims to victory and dismissing as "not thorough and precise" statements by an EU observer mission that the election had been riddled with irregularities. The bank has backpedaled from Mr. Bruce's comments, but not without harming its reputation among Kenyans: "We do not consider [Mr. Bruce] a neutral mediator at all," a spokesman for Mr. Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement told the Financial Times after the election.

As it happens, Mr. Bruce lived until recently in a home owned by President Kibaki. (A bank spokesman tells us he has moved out, following media scrutiny about this seeming conflict of interest.) The bank has often been a cheerleader for Mr. Kibaki's government, noting, in one fulsome press release last summer, that Kenya had been awarded the U.N.'s "Public Service Award" for its "efforts in improving transparency, accountability and responsiveness in public service delivery."

Most importantly, bank lending to the Kibaki government is more than double what it was in 2005, when Mr. Bruce became country director. The bank's loan portfolio in Kenya now totals some $1 billion spread over 16 projects, with 10 more in the pipeline. Roughly one in five of these dollars comes from the American taxpayer.

This munificence has also occurred amid numerous signs of corruption in the Kenyan government. In 2005, John Githongo, a former journalist who was Mr. Kibaki's anticorruption czar, handed the president a report implicating top officials, including the vice president and finance minister, in a corrupt $40 million passport printing scheme. Mr. Kibaki failed (or refused) to act on the report, and Mr. Githongo was forced to flee to Britain following threats on his life.

STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL

Read the World Bank's review of four bank projects from its Kenya portfolio, issued by its Department of Institutional Integrity (INT).

Then there is the corruption in the bank's own projects. In early 2007, the bank's internal anticorruption unit, known as INT, completed a detailed review of four bank projects in Kenya involving $357 million in bank financing. The review was never made public, but a copy can be viewed by clicking on the nearby link. In three of the four projects, INT found "numerous indicators of serious irregularities" as well as "actual occurrences of fraud and corruption consistent with findings of previous forensic audits and examinations."

Take the $50 million Kenya Decentralized Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS Project. After reviewing $7.2 million in project contracts, INT found "irregularity indicators" in contracts worth $5.2 million. "Credible witnesses informed [INT] that Ministry officials at all levels were engaged in corruption in virtually every component of the project," the review states.

In a second AIDS-related "disaster response project" known as KHADREP, INT uncovered irregularities in 29 of the 36 contracts it reviewed. Among the lowlights: "Grant recipients reported that the continuous requests for bribes made by the government officials diverted funds from the activities' objectives. One grant recipient explained that, instead of paying secondary school fees for orphans, it used grant money to pay bribes. They also stated that this caused orphans to drop out of school and engage in illegal activities, including prostitution, which would inevitably increase the exposure and risk of the HIV/AIDS infection." In other words, a project intended to reduce HIV infection helped to increase it.

To its credit, the bank did take steps against corruption under former presidents James Wolfensohn and Paul Wolfowitz. In 2006, Mr. Wolfowitz withheld some $260 million in lending to Kenya and sought to link future lending to guarantees of press freedom. But he was fought tooth-and-nail both by the bank's bureaucracy and its board, particularly European members. The fight over corruption -- replicated in India and Cambodia, as we have reported here and here -- helped to inspire the staff coup that forced Mr. Wolfowitz out last spring. Lending to Kenya ramped up dramatically as Mr. Wolfowitz was being forced out the door.

And the money will keep flowing under current President Robert Zoellick. The largest of the corrupted Kenyan projects identified by INT -- a $207 million road-building scheme -- will continue disbursing funds through the end of 2009. The usual anticorruption "action plans" are in the works, and the bank has acknowledged "mismanagement of some project funds by some officials and NGOs" in the KHADREP project, but will now fund an even more generous $80 million follow up. It's unlikely to be crowned with success: Even by the bank's own internal self-assessments, only 25% of its Kenya projects are rated "satisfactory" for overall bank performance.

Why does all this matter? Corruption in Kenya isn't exactly shocking news. But the depredations of the last two months were shocking, and they were largely the product of a culture of corruption that made it possible either for Mr. Kibaki to attempt to steal the election or for Mr. Odinga to believe that it had been stolen. That's a culture to which the World Bank has contributed more than its share, and to which Americans are still being asked to contribute through U.S. appropriations for the bank. Is it too much to ask for even a little Congressional oversight?

Following the election 12/27/2007, Odinga who lost decried the voting and said it was rigged. (Where have we heard that before?) This led to massive violence including the killing of scores of Kenyans and the burning of many buildings including a church with family members inside who were burned to death. More here

The violence is the worst Kenya has witnessed since a failed coup in 1982. The media has been, shall we say obtuse, in describing the combatants, the murderers - what exactly is at play.Dr. Jack Wheeler at To the Point News lays it out for us and outlines a brilliant strategy for Obama, a Moslem in his youth with strong ties to Islam and that region. Interesting that Obama should sidle up to the agitator aligned with Islam.Of course, Wheeler's bold strategy is way over Obama Hussein's head. Did George Soros find his puppet for the 2008 Presidential race in IL in 2004 when he donated $60,000 to Barack Obama for his IL Senate race? You can bet if the Soros' Family donated $60,000 that is reported, Soros donations through other groups is bound to be even higher. What did Soros see in Obama?

The facts will speak for themselves in the weeks ahead and by November expect the Democrat Party to have buyer's remorse with their candidate who for lack of better words is an empty suit. Obama didn't vote in the IL Legislature 166 times because issues were controversial but he wants to be President?

Was Obama the perfect candidate for George Soros because his (Obama) views can be molded to suit his (Soros) agenda which is making America a 2nd rate Country as he (Soros) levels the playing field through his vast fortune? Soros money in the Obama campaign = Soros access to the White House and a voice in US foreign policy by Soros who wants to see Israel destroyed and the US relegated to the trash pile of history as no longer being a super power.

Where there is smoke, there is fire and the new media has only begun to unravel the puzzle of Soros influence in the Obama campaign since the mainstream media cannot be bothered by such trivial investigations.

George Soros and the Alchemy of 'Regime Change'

What does a very aged multi-billionaire do after he spends $25 million dollars to force a presidential election his way, and still falls flat on his face? Well, of course, he tries and tries again.

When George Soros failed to obtain the election of his candidate, John Kerry, in 2004, he brooded for a while, even said he might get out of politics altogether, but he just couldn't stop himself. He has stated publicly that he wishes to burst the "bubble of American supremacy," because he says our preeminence in the world is a detriment to global "equilibrium." So far, he has failed, but he keeps on trying.

And Mr. Soros has made no secret either of the fact that he sees the shortest way to effect political shake-ups, what he terms "regime changes," is through very difficult economic conditions.

America has not yet felt the full force of Soros style economic shock treatment. But others have.

Soros made his first billion in 1992 by shorting the British pound with leveraged billions in financial bets, and became known as the man who broke the Bank of England. He broke it on the backs of hard-working British citizens who immediately saw their homes severely devalued and their life savings cut drastically in comparative worth almost overnight.

When the Asian Financial Crisis of 1997 threatened to spread globally, George Soros was right in the thick of it. Soros was accused by the Malaysian Prime Minister of causing the collapse with his monetary machinations, and he was branded in Thailand as an "economic war criminal" who "sucks the blood from the people." Right in the middle of this crisis, Soros dashed off his book, The Crisis of Global Capitalism, which demanded a "third way" toward economic stability.

Coincidentally, or not, during the height of the fears of worldwide recession, then President Clinton told the New York Times that he was proposing a "third way" between capitalism and socialism. Unfortunately for Soros, U.S. markets rebounded quickly, his predicted catastrophe was forestalled, and his brave new global economic plans receded for a bit.

This may have been to Soros' own good, though, because he was by 1998 up to his neck in the collapse of the Russian ruble, and buying up valuable East European resources at fire-sale prices.

And why not?

He had already been widely proclaiming that it was his own machinations that brought down the Soviet Empire. When asked about his sphere of influence in the Soviets' demise for a New Republic interview in 1994, Mr. Soros humbly replied that the author ought to report that "the former Soviet Empire is now called the Soros Empire."

When our House Banking Committee investigated the Russia-gate scandal in 1999, trying to determine just how $100 billion had been diverted out of Russia, forcing the collapse of its currency and the default of its enormous loans from the International Monetary Fund, Soros was even called to testify. He denied involvement of course, but finally admitted that he had used insider access in a deal that was barred to foreign investors to acquire a huge chunk of Sidanko Oil.

The Russia scandal was labeled by Rep. Jim Leach, then head of the House Banking Committee to be "one of the greatest social robberies in human history." (Shadow Party; David Horowitz and Richard Poe; p. 96)

Of course, Russia-gate was quickly hushed up and pushed aside in the public's lurid, and quite insatiable, interest in Monica-gate.

Then, George Soros did some more shady economic fooling around in France. And he actually got caught and charged with illegal insider trading in his attempt to takeover the Societe Generale bank. He was convicted and the conviction was upheld in 2 separate appeals, the last in June of 2006. They let him off, however, with a piddling $2.9 million fine.

Mere chicken feed to a multi-billionaire.

Of course, since George Soros is a naturalized American citizen, it is difficult to imagine just why he would intentionally want to bring about our own economic collapse.

But from all appearances, that might be exactly what he has on his mind.

By 2003, Soros was already predicting the downfall of the dollar. In a CNBC interview, amid a slump in the dollar's value against the Euro, Soros added fuel to that fire by stating that he was already selling dollars. His statement, in turn, caused a further decline in the international worth of the dollar.

When George Soros speaks, hedge fund managers and world financiers listen.

Unfortunately, he wasn't able to bring about the "October Surprise" U.S. economic downturn in time for the 2004 election. Our economy proved too resilient for him then.

But he hasn't stopped predicting that yearned-for recession that would spoil things for his political foes, the Republicans.

Just after he failed in 2004 to bring about Bush's demise, he went right on trying to force a conclusion to his self-fulfilling prophecy of doom for the U.S. And this year, it appears as though he may have finally hit pay dirt in the sub-prime meltdown which threatens to actually bring on that long hoped-for recession.

In Davos this year, at the World Economic Forum, Soros even went so far as to say that the current housing "bust" would signal the end of the dollar as the world's default currency. "The current crisis is not only the bust that follows the housing boom," Soros said. "It's basically the end of a 60-year period of continuing credit expansion based on the dollar as the reserve currency."

Being that Mr. Soros' stated goal for more than a decade has been to burst the "bubble of American supremacy," it stands to reason that the financial gloom he is predicting for us would be precisely his own little cup of tea.

And if the economic picture is bleak in this election year, who stands to benefit? Why, the Democrats, of course, the beneficiaries of Soros' 527 largesse.

And Mr. Soros, along with his "progressive" friends may stand at the ready to issue in their vision of America by strategically re-writing the Constitution.

In April 2005, Soros' Open Society Institute was the primary sponsor of a conference at Yale Law School, called, "The Constitution in 2020." The conference's task was to produce "a progressive vision of what the Constitution ought to be." (Emphasis mine.) When one sees references in progressive speak about the "evolutionary character of constitutional law," they are talking about changing the Constitution to formally enshrine their policy preferences so they can avoid the messy necessity of having to win elections. (Shadow Party; Horowitz and Poe; p. 71)

It would seem, then, that progressives stand at the threshold of fulfilling their wildest dreams right here on American shores. With a Republican Party in disarray, the economy seemingly poised on the brink of recession, one candidate with the charisma of a snake charmer and another master schemer as backup, and a new Constitution already being planned, what will stand in their way?

These folks have designs not only on a reinvention of America, but on the whole world. Both Democrat candidates for the presidency have plans for an American cure for global poverty that make our current, quite generous, foreign aid look like a tiny Band-Aid.

Hillary's utopian plan is of a global village, where the role of America is that of supreme benefactor, with herself as our beneficent queen. Hillary's plans for the redistribution of American wealth extend benefits not just to other Americans, but to every other country in need.

Obama, too, sees global poverty as the root cause of all evil in the world, including crime, war and terrorism. His single piece of signature legislation in the Senate is a bill that would authorize an additional $845 billion from American tax payers to eradicate global poverty, and legislate a demand on future presidents to bring America in line with UN mandates on percentage of national GDP given to fight global poverty.

These plans are in perfect sync with Soros' own support for the Tobin Tax, a global tax on currency transactions. This taxation would be forced on sovereign nations by an international body, coercing capitalist economies into sharing their wealth with poor nations for the eradication of poverty and the myriad problems associated with it.

So, that which we and our ancestors have sacrificed to build and maintain will be stolen from us and our offspring and given away by the new Robin Hoods, George Soros and the Democratic Party, who seem to envision global perfection at last, with every single soul living happily ever after in absolute peace and harmony, together singing kumbaya in the same language...the language of love.

And only God knows what can save America from being the sacrificial fodder for their grand, megalomaniacal delusion.

Saner heads prevailing, perhaps?
