"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

Little Darth Vader Behind the Scenes - Outtakes From Volkswagen's 'The Force' Commercial

This was definitely the favorite ad of almost everyone who saw little Darth Vader. Could not have told you that it was a Volkswagen ad because all I saw was the little guy getting frustrated at no magic powers and then his Dad beeps the lights of the car and he has the magic. Had no idea it was a Volswagen ad until I read this on AOL News a short time ago.

It was such a cute ad that even the guys on our local sports talk radio had it their #1 ad. Bet the makers of Halloween costumes are rushing the Darth Vader costume into production because a lot of little kids across America are going to want to be little Darth Vader to go trick or treat this October!

Now you can see behind the scenes of this ad. Kudos to the person who came up with the idea for this ad.  This little Darth Vader is adorable.

Little Darth Vader Behind the Scenes - Outtakes From Volkswagen's 'The Force' Commercial

A Volkswagen commercial featuring a tiny Darth Vader frustrated with his lack of Force powers was huge during the Super Bowl, and Little Darth Vader was unmasked the Today Show the next morning. But if you still can't get enough of this miniature dark Jedi, you're in luck - there's a behind the scenes video up on YouTube (see below).

This outtake reel for the commercial shows Little Vader falling down in frustration, pushing the sandwich back at his mom, and walking right past his dad at the end of the ad. There are no laugh-out-loud bloopers here, but there's a cute scene where the dog tries to lick Vader instead of walking away like he's supposed to. Also, why didn't they leave the Roomba in the finished ad?
