If you’re as attuned as I am, you saw the effigy of Sarah Palin a year ago.

Where was the DNC when we were screaming about the double standard?

We need to have a few posts about how they looked the other way while the Obama thugs were stampeding and commandeering the caucuses, rolling over HRC with bottomless wells of cash and unleashing Obotomized TV News people and blog trolls to bash anybody who had a rational thought about the election.

New Black Panther thugs wearing black, holding Billy clubs and intimidating voters at the polls in Philadelphia (where Mayor Nutter had endorsed Clinton over his bro) saw the charges against them “dropped” by Eric Holder, AFTER they were found guilty!!!

The Pitchfork Brigade is rising in the corn fields. I loved the town hall outburst by the gentleman who said: “Obama took six months to decide on which dog to pick for his kids, and he wants to push this massive health care plan in a few weeks!”

This “Tune ‘em out, ridicule and demean the people who pay the tab” game is getting old.

I got to thinking about it on my drive this morning. The DNC gets its money to pay Howard Dean, Donna Brazile and their R & BL Committee expenses FROM US!!! Our volunteer work, our fundraising efforts, when we buy the $100.00 tickets to their hot dog dinners and any time we make our own contributions to bullshit pleas like this one.

Gerry Connolly (D-VA), the president of the freshman Democratic class has revealed that “at least one freshman Democrat” has already been “physically assaulted at a local event” by right-wing activists. http://thinkprogress.org/2009/08/05/freshman-dem-assaulted/

A Freeper called Rep. Connolly's two local offices and they were not aware of any such event. I finally got in touch with someone in his DC Capitol office, and he was unaware of the story. I gave him the URL for the ThinkProgress story, and after some hemming and hawing, he disavowed the story - passing it off as an exageration in the form of some selective use of quotation marks.
Somebody is lying here. Is it the rats at ThinkProgress? Or is it Rep. Connolly? Enquiring minds want to know.

That didn't take long as the truth came out about the lies from the Dems in their email below on the Insurance companies backing Republicans and shows the Dems are attacking their own. From the Wall Street Journal:

Over the August Congressional recess, warned Nancy Pelosi last week, Republicans and insurance companies will resort to “carpet bombing, slash and burn, shock and awe” to bring down ObamaCare. Which makes us wonder how the House Speaker would describe what Democrats are doing to each other.

The real political news this month isn’t Republicans vs. Democrats, and certainly not insurance companies vs. Democrats. If anything, the health-care business lobbies are helping Democrats by keeping quiet and hoping their silence buys their survival as heavily regulated utilities. If the insurance companies were any quieter, they’d be Trappists.

The news is how the political left and its lobbies are roughing up fellow Democrats who won’t get with President Obama’s government-run program. They’re treating the centrists who helped make them a majority as if they were Newt Gingrich without the social conscience.

On Friday, Democracy for America and the Progressive Change Campaign Committee put out a “rapid-response ad” against Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson, who is lukewarm about a government-run insurance scheme, the so-called public option. “Will Sen. Nelson choose the insurance interests who fund his campaigns to the tune of over $2 million dollars?” the ad declares. Democracy for America calls the ad “a warning shot to any Senator who tries to block President Obama’s public health insurance option.”

There's been a lot of media coverage about organized mobs intimidating lawmakers, disrupting town halls, and silencing real discussion about the need for real health insurance reform. (Lie -- the only disruption that is happening at Town Halls is when Democrats refuse to tell the truth about healthcare. To say these are organized mobs is an affront to every last American who doesn't agree with OBAMACARE, who has read the bill, and wants answers from their elected officials.

Shame on the American voter for wanting facts according to the DNC. So now we are called organized mobs intimidating lawmakers? This time the lies by the Democrats are not working because Republicans/Independents/Democrats voters are all fed up with the lack of facts and all the lies being told by Obama/Reid/Pelosi Democrats about us. View the You Tube and you will see the people asking the questions are just like us -- Americans who care!)

The truth is, it's a sham. These "grassroots protests" are being organized and largely paid for by Washington special interests and insurance companies who are desperate to block reform. They're trying to use lies and fear to break the President and his agenda for change. (A lot of us that are protesting want to know who we can contact about being paid as we are using our own dollars. Since the Dems know who these groups are, they need to tell the opponents of OBAMACARE. As usual, the Dems accuse the GOP of what they have been doing for years. They actually pay people to post on sites -- not the GOP, we are on our own nickle.)

Health insurance reform is about our lives, our jobs, and our families -- we can't let distortions and intimidation get in the way. (This is too rich -- Cong John Conyer (D-MI) said he hadn't read the OBAMACARE bill because it would take too long and he would need two lawyers to interpret the bill. I guess he is distoring the bill -- one of their own.)

1. These disruptions are being funded and organized by out-of-district special-interest groups and insurance companies who fear that health insurance reform could help Americans, but hurt their bottom line. A group run by the same folks who made the "Swiftboat" ads against John Kerry is compiling a list of congressional events in August to disrupt. An insurance company coalition has stationed employees in 30 states to track where local lawmakers hold town-hall meetings. (LIE #1 -- no one is paying Republicans/Independents/Democrats to show up at the offices/Town Halls of the Democrats to protest Obamacare. We can think for ourselves. We don't have donors who pay for buses/lunches like the Democrats -- we have to get their on our own. This is something the DC Democrats have never understood about Republicans -- we don't don't all march to the same drummer and we don't get paid to post. Maybe the DNC would like to pass on the groups paying to demonstrate or write against OBAMACARE as we could all use some extra money thanks the price of groceries/gas rising because of this Administration)

2. People are scared because they are being fed frightening lies. These crowds are being riled up by anti-reform lies being spread by industry front groups that invent smears to tarnish the President's plan and scare voters. But as the President has repeatedly said, health insurance reform will create more health care choices for the American people, not reduce them. If you like your insurance or your doctor, you can keep them, and there is no "government takeover" in any part of any plan supported by the President or Congress. (LIE #2 -- In Obama's own words, he said that the United States needs a single payer insurance. Why shouldn't seniors be scared when the bill contains words about every five years being counseled on end of life. Oregon has told a woman who needs chemotherapy to stop her cancer that she is not going to get it but they will essentially help her die. Last I checked Oregon is a Democrat state. If this OBAMACARE is so good why isn't the President/Congress going to join up?)

3. Their actions are getting more extreme. Texas protesters brought signs displaying a tombstone for Rep. Lloyd Doggett and using the "SS" symbol to compare President Obama's policies to Nazism. Maryland Rep. Frank Kratovil was hanged in effigy outside his district office. Rep. Tim Bishop of New York had to be escorted to his car by police after an angry few disrupted his town hall meeting -- and more examples like this come in every day. And they have gone beyond just trying to derail the President's health insurance reform plans, they are trying to "break" the President himself and ruin his Presidency. (HALF TRUTHS: Since the WH has instituted an email adderess where you are supposed to snitch on your friends and neighbors that don't agree with OBAMACARE, I would say the SS symbol tells the story. We are being told by some of these Reps that they don't care what the people of their district want. Seems Democrats have forgotten they work for their constituents. If they cannot take the heat with their choice of votes, then they need to see the Unemployment Line in 2010.

Too chicken to defend their vote? Some of these horrible protestors that scared Doggett were senior citizens, some with walkers. Very scary people. (Sarcasm)

What is the most ironic is the venom the Democrats displayed against President Bush even on the floor of the House and Senate. Guess that was okay when Democrats did the protesting but Republicans are supposed to sit back and take it from the Democrats? Tanking Obama's agenda on OBAMACARE would be the most important thing Americans could do. President Bush didn't whine but the Democrats have taken whining to a new level -- poor Obama -- shame on people who actually want to read the bill and have input!)

4. Their goal is to disrupt and shut down legitimate conversation. Protesters have routinely shouted down representatives trying to engage in constructive dialogue with voters, and done everything they can to intimidate and silence regular people who just want more information. One attack group has even published a manual instructing protesters to "stand up and shout" and try to "rattle" lawmakers to prevent them from talking peacefully with their constituents. (LIE #4 -- I have personally watched the You Tube videos and people have been very respectful until told lies and told the Representative is not going to talk about healthcare and will vote how he wants. Imagine being told by someone you elected that your input on such a major issue doesn't matter because your Representative who most likely has not read the bill knows more then you do. Arrogance is alive and well in the Democrat White House and Halls of Congress.)

5. Republican leadership is irresponsibly cheering on the thuggish crowds. Republican House Minority Leader John Boehner issued a statement applauding and promoting a video of the disruptions and looking forward to "a long, hot August for Democrats in Congress." (LIE #5 - Constituents who want answers on OBAMACARE from their elected Representatives are now thuggish? How ironic to use that word thuggish when so many people in this Administration come out of the Chicago thug mentality. Guess you need to accuse the other side of doing what Democrats have been doing for years. We are not allowed to protest OBAMACARE -- we are supposed to Sit Down and Shut UP! Unlike the Democrats no one is telling us what to say including on this blog.)

Now, more than ever, we need to stand strong together and defend the truth. (TRUTH from today's Democrat spin machines? You are not the David Boren's or Sam Nunn's who used to walk the halls of the Senate. Now we have the clown Franken thanks to manufactured voter fraud along with a group that is so far left they are out of touch with most of Americans who are not liberals. Where have the honorable Democrats gone? If you are like Sen Ben Nelson (D-NE), you are having ads run against you by the Progressive Democrats.)
