"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

Obama on Redistribution of Wealth

Received the following in email -- chilling:

You really need to listen to this - it's short, but very telling of where we are headed. Obama radio interview (from 2001). He says the Supreme Court has to get involved in redistribution of wealth, just as it did with civil rights. He also says, "generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties, says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you, but it doesn't say what the federal government or the state government MUST DO on your behalf." He also says that the civil rights movement didn't do enough because it did not come up with a way to redistribute wealth. He doesn't think the courts can redistribute wealth, but legislation can. This is not a conversation about whether redistribution is right or wrong, just how to best do it... http://www.youtube.com/user/NakedEmperorNews1
