"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

Top Two House Democrats NOT on the Same Page

From the House Republican Conference Chairman Mike Pence:

Top Two House Democrats NOT on the Same Page

How many pages will the Democrats’ latest government takeover of health care be?

YESTERDAY Speaker Nancy Pelosi - "A MUCH SMALLER PROPOSAL" - "It will be a much smaller proposal than we had in the House bill because that's where we can gain consensus. But it will be big enough to put us on a path of affordable, quality health care for all Americans that holds insurance companies accountable." (FOX News, "Pelosi: New Health Care Bill Ready In Days," March 1, 2010)

TODAY Majority Leader Steny Hoyer - "NO TRUTH" TO THAT - "House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) says there is no truth to reports that President Barack Obama will press Congress to pass a significantly smaller healthcare reform bill. ‘I don't have reason to believe that that's accurate,' Hoyer told The Hill following a speech at a Federation of American Hospitals conference Tuesday." (The Hill, "Hoyer: There is no scaled-back health bill," March 2, 2010)

NOTE: Yet Obama/Pelosi/Reid want the American taxpayers to swallow everything they say hook, line, and sinker! NO WAY -- we lean toward if they open their mouth and talk, they are lying.
