"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

Pence: "Mr. President, Whose Side Are You On?"

Cong Mike Pence (R-IN) is voicing the concerns of most Americans about this President's handling of Israel. None of us understand why Obama disses our best ally, Israel, while at the same time playing up to the Palestinians including their terrorist arm. When is the last time that Obama took the side of our allies instead of our enemies?

Our tax dollars being sent to the Palestinians in the amount of an additional $400M is ludicrous not to mention Obama's comments. We have a hunch this $400M is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Obama funding his pals who sponsor terrorism.

President Barack Obama said today the US would send $400m of aid to the Palestinian territories following 10 days of international focus on Gaza, which Israel has blockaded for more than three years:
Obama described the situation in Gaza as "unsustainable", saying a better approach was needed and calling for a "new conceptual framework" for Israel’s blockade. A White House statement said the new funds "represent a down payment on the United States’ commitment to Palestinians in Gaza, who deserve a better life and expanded opportunities, and the chance to take part in building a viable, independent state of Palestine, together with those who live in the West Bank".
This aid is supposedly to build schools but we will believe that when we see it -- nice cover by the Obama Administration spending out tax dollars which he doesn't have to put us deeper in the red in order to help a country who sponsors terrorism.

Cong Pence is correct when he says "Mr. President, Whose Side Are You On?"

Responds to President’s Call for Israel’s Blockade to be Sharply Limited

Washington, DC - U.S. Congressman Mike Pence, Chairman of the House Republican Conference and member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement today in response to President Barack Obama's call for Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip to be sharply limited

Transcript: "We all grieve the loss of life that occurred last week when a flotilla designed to challenge Israel’s effective blockade of Gaza ended in military confrontation. But Israel has a right to defend itself.

“The history is clear in that region; Gaza is controlled by a terrorist organization known as Hamas. Hamas used Gaza as a launching pad for thousands of rockets that killed innocent civilians in Israel. Israel responded with military force and has instituted a blockade that has saved lives in Gaza and in Israel. And there’s no humanitarian crisis. Ten thousand tons of food and medical supplies are transferred into Gaza every single week.

“Remarkably, yesterday the president said it was time for Israel to sharply limit its effective blockade in Gaza, saying ‘the situation in Gaza is unsustainable.’
“The truth is, Mr. President, your policy in Israel is unsustainable.
“The American people are on the side of Israel and Israel’s right to defend herself.

“Mr. President, whose side are you on?”
