Eight years ago today, the Islamic terrorists of Al Qaeda flew planes into the two towers of the World Trade Center, flew a plane into the Pentagon, and crashed another plane headed for DC into a field in PA. When the Terrorists were finished that day, 2819 people were killed or died from their wounds. War was declared on America when the Terrorists bombed the Pentagon. We are still fighting Al Qaeda to this day in Afghanistan and Iraq is still under attack from the terrorists trying to destablize the free Country of Iraq. We have Iran that is about to get its nuclear weapons. It is a dangerous world and getting more dangerous today then it was a year ago because more and more people have forgotten that day on Sept 11, 2001.
This site honors those who gave their lives that day, those wounded, and their family and friends. Our thanks go out to President Bush, former NY Governor Pataki, and former Mayor Rudy Guiliani for their strength and resolve that helped all of America and the World get through those first days.
America needs to stand tall and no one needs to apologize to any Country because as Americans we have helped more people around the World then any other Country. The terrorists hate us because we offer freedom while they want to enslave people to their Islamic Fundamentalist ideas. America is about FREEDOMS that are guaranteed to us in our Constitution. Americans across the Country will NEVER give up our Freedoms that our Founding Fathers fought so hard to achieve and we will speak out when our rights and freedoms are challenged.
It is still a War on Terror not some Mickey Mouse little dust up. As long as the terrorists want to kill us and do away with our way of life, then we will be at war.
Take time today to say a prayer for our men and women fighting for the greatest Nation in the world to spread freedom around the world and to protect our freedoms here in this Country.
God Bless our Military and God Bless the United States of America!
