"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

Pence: The United Nations Has Become A Forum for Invective Against Our Most Cherished Ally, Israel

The speech given at the United Nations by Pres Obama should send chills up the spines of the many Americans who support Isreal. We would like to know why this President disses our longtime friends and cozies up to our enemies? For Obama to go to the UN and make anti-Israel comments from the podium is confirming what so many have been saying that Obama is no friend of Israel. He doesn't seem to be a friend of a democracy either.

Just who is Barack Obama? We know very little about the man who the media helped elect President. Have a hunch we are about to find out a lot more as more and more Americans wake-up!

Pence: The United Nations Has Become A Forum for Invective Against Our Most Cherished Ally, Israel Washington, DC - U.S. Congressman Mike Pence, Chairman of the House Republican Conference, made the following statement on the House floor today drawing attention to the anti-Israel comments spoken at the U.N. Summit yesterday:

"Following the defeat of tyranny throughout Europe in 1945, and in the ashes of the Holocaust, the United Nations was born. It was formed to create a forum to confront dictators before they rose to global power. President John F. Kennedy in his inaugural address warned some four decades ago that the United Nations must not become a forum for invective against the West.

"But as we saw yesterday with the leader of Libya decrying Israel in the terms of the ‘Israeli demon.' As we saw the leader of the discredited regime in Tehran denounce the ‘barbaric attacks of the Zionist regime' and continue to deny the Holocaust in public forums, we have seen the United Nations has become not only a forum for invective against the West, but especially a forum for invective against our most cherished ally, Israel.

"Today, the American people provide 20 percent of the financial support for the United Nations. And today the American people are asking, ‘why?'"
