"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

SEVEN Hardin County officials switch to GOP

This is more proof that the Democrat Party under Progressives has gone way too left for many Democrats. With the Progressive Democrats ramming their agenda items through the House and Senate against the Rules, why would anyone remain a Democrat?

Can guarantee you if Republicans ever did what Boxer did this morning or what Pelosi has been doing, they would never receive another penny or support from me again. Fortunately, I don't have to worry because the vast majority of Republicans in elected office support the Rule of Law and if they don't they asked to step aside. Republicans out their bad apples while Democrats keep them in Chairmanships like Rangel. Any Democrat still supporting Pelosi/Reid/Obama is obviously a progressive because if they were the least bit Conservative they would be getting out of the Progressive Democrat Party like these seven office holders.

Seven Democratic Hardin County elected officials announced Wednesday they will become Republicans.

Sheriff Ed Cain, who confirmed his switch earlier this week, was joined at Wednesday’s formal announcement by County Judge Billy Caraway, Precinct 4 Commissioner Bobby Franklin, County Attorney Rebecca Walton, Precinct 5 Constable Wayne McDaniel, Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Kent Walker and Precinct 5 Justice of the Peace Butch Cummings.

As each of the officials spoke, they repeated the same theme — their beliefs and values have stayed the same, but are no longer reflected by the Democratic Party.
In addition, several said that when they first ran for office, they knew they would not be elected if they didn’t run as a Democrat.

Walton said she had no idea the other six were thinking about switching parties as she was considering the move.

The following is a list of Hardin County officials who announced today they were switching their political party affiliations.

All of the officials changed from Democrat to Republican.
