"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

Jack Welch blasts President Obama, Barney Frank

What can we say about this speech by Jack Welch, former CEO of GE, except to say we are stunned at the reaction of the people in attendence -- we were not expecting 'an enthusiastic crowd' in Boston to his comments. Someone better wake up at the White House and Congress that the American taxpapyers are getting fed up with what they are seeing out of DC as Jack Welch nailed it as "insane."

For more about Jack and Suzy Welch and their management philosophy, pleaase visit their website which shows a stark contrast to the management of GE today. We believe if more companies adhered to the following management principle found on the Welch site, this country would be much better off:

"In brief, our fundamental principles are about the importance of a strong mission and concrete values; the absolute value of candor in every aspect of management; the power of differentiation, meaning a system based on meritocracy; and the belief that each individual be treated with dignity and given the voice to be heard."
The word 'candor' jumps out after Boxer violated Senate rules in pushing Cap and Trade out of Committee with no Republican votes. Candor and his group of liberal candidates are a 180.

Obvious to us that the current CEO of GE could take some lessons from Jack Welch!

Welch was referring to the races on Tuesday where Republicans bested Democrats, a sign some say that voters are unhappy with President Barack Obama’s handling of the country.

“I desperately want more thought so we don’t throw out some of the great things we have in this country,”
