Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning) 9/11/2001

On June 16, 2010, there was a rally in NYC against the proposed Ground Zero Islamic Mosque. No major media, no satellite trucks, no national coverage to speak of happened at this event. Has our media totally forgotten 9/11 or are they in a cover mode for Obama, Bloomberg and others who support the building of the Islamic Mosque at Ground Zero? How can they look survivors in the eye?

These are parents and spouses of firefighters killed on 9/11. The rally took place just a minute’s walk from Ladder 10 Firehouse, where their loved ones were stationed for duty that terrible day. Ladder 10 lost seven firefighters.
Because debris hit the building site where the Islamists want to build the mosque, it should be considered part of Ground Zero. If NYC won't allow St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church to rebuild because it sits on Ground Zero land, what do you call where the Muslims want to build their Islamic Mosque? A Greek Orthodox Church that had stood for over 100 years before being destroyed on 9/11 is not wanted by Bloomberg and members of the various groups controlled in NYC by Bloomberg but the Islamic Mosques is?


Port Authority and NYPD officers kept watch over the rally and were well aware of the need for heightened security at this event. One of their own Port Authority officers, WTC Sergeant Alan T. De Vona was on duty at the World Trade Center on 9/11, 2001, and was one of the first to help victims of the terrorist attack. He spoke these words to the SIOA rally:

“It’s almost nine years. I’m hoping that America is watching. I’m hoping that America is remembering. Because, make no mistake. September 11 was an act of war. And thank the military that has lost almost 5,000 troops from that day, defending us. I don’t know what to say to jar America’s memory. I want America to remember. "

Sergeant Vona -- so do we! We want America to remember that the people who flew the planes into the towers belonged to Islam and that Obama in his speech following 9/11 took the opportunity to blame America for part of the problem. Wonder if Obama blames America for the Japanese attacking Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941?




How can any American forget that Islamic Jihadist hijacked and flew those planes into the World Trade Centers, the Pentagon, and a plane into the ground in Pennsylvania headed for Washington DC?

Now Muslim supporters of Islam want to build an Islamic Mosque near the site of the twin towers where members of their religion destroyed the towers and murdered all those people. As someone said on a website: What would Americans say if the Japanese tried to build a shrine near the USS Arizona?

Never forget 9/11/2001 when everything stopped as we witnessed an attack on American soil by Islamic Jihadists who adhered to Shariah Law -- the same Shariah Law that Muslims want to bring into America through their mosques.
