"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

Who are religious bigots? Muslims or Americans?

This Sunday morning in looking for news articles we found article from the from the Washington Examiner, Muslims not Americans are Religious Bigots discussing Time magazine's article asking if we were religious bigots for opposing the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque.

FYI we will continue to say Ground Zero as one of the landing gears from the hijacked planes that murdered over 2600 people in NYC landed on the roof of this building where they want to build the mosque and crashed through the roof which makes it collateral damage from the act of war on the United States that happened at Ground Zero on 9/11.

This idea that we should not use Ground Zero to describe the Islamic Mosque but use 'near' Ground Zero is ridiculous. If that is the case, maybe we should start referring to the Statue of Liberty as near New York City as it sits on Liberty Island which belongs to the US Park Service in the New York Harbor. The Statue of Liberty is much farther away from NYC in the Harbor than the Islamic Mosque is to Ground Zero.

In researching Islam and the Ground Zero Mosque at Time magazine we came up with numerous articles mostly we would consider favoring the Muslim view the mosque needs buildt in the proposed location. Bottom line is that Time is still carrying the water for Obama. What bothered us the most in all the articles was the one by Grover Norquist who Time considers a Conservative Republican.  Norquist was lecturing Republicans on their opposition to the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque and why it is bad for Republicans. We would beg to differ as does the American Thinker along with other Conservative Republicans:

Grover Norquist's Jihad"

Grover Norquist's ties to Islamic supremacists and jihadists have been known for years. He and his Palestinian wife, Samah Alrayyes -- who was director of communications for his Islamic Free Market Institute until they married in 2005 -- are very active in "Muslim outreach." Just six weeks after 9/11, The New Republic ran an exposé explaining how Norquist arranged for George W. Bush to meet with fifteen Islamic supremacists at the White House on September 26, 2001 -- to show how Muslims rejected terrorism.

It was Norquist who ushered these silver-tongued jihadists into the Oval Office of an incurious president after the worst attack ever on American soil. Instead of Hamas, Hezb'allah, and the Muslim Brotherhood, Ibn Warraq, Bat Ye'or, and Wafa Sultan should have been advising the president. Instead, at that September 26 meeting, Bush declared that "the teachings of Islam are teachings of peace and good." It was a critically important, historic incident. What should have been the most important teaching moment of the long war became a propaganda tool for Islam. A singular opportunity was squandered, and the resulting harm is incalculable.

Bush did this because he trusted Norquist, who vouched for these Muslim leaders. Yet "the record suggests," wrote Foer, "that [Norquist] has spent quite a lot of time promoting people openly sympathetic to Islamist terrorists."
In this article from the American Thinker you will discover where the loyalties of Norquist lie -- hint -- it is not 100% to America.  Yet he is the person that Time uses to describe how Republicans are wrong on the Ground Zero Mosque. To put Norquist comments on Time in perspective, Frank Gaffney, head of the Center for Security Policy in the article revealed:

Grover Norquist was on the Islamic payroll before and after the carnage of September 11. Gaffney revealed Norquist's close ties to Abdurahman Alamoudi, who is now serving twenty-three years in prison for financing jihad activity
Recommend when you see Grover Norquist chastising Republicans about opposition to the Ground Zero Islamic Mosque, you ignore his comments because they are worth zero, zip, nada!

Islamic Jihadists under Bin Laden and Al Qaeda declared war on America just like the Japanese did on December 7th, 1941. The attack on the USS Cole on October 12, 2000, was the lead-up to 9/11.  After Al Qaeda attacked the USS Cole that was anchored at the Port of Aden, what did Clinton do in response to the Cole attack?

Why was the Bush Administration given so little time to transition by the Clinton Administration after the election? Why the fight in Florida by Gore after he had conceded? Clinton wouldn't allow the Bush transition team into buildings set aside for weeks.  When they finally got in the White House and Executive Office Building, the Clinton employees had left the offices in shambles. All of that plus the stalling of appointees by the Democrats led to an Administration that did not get off on solid footing.  Then throw in the lack of information exchanged from the Clinton people about Bin Laden and Al Qaeda, and you have a situation that culminated in the 9/11 attacks by the Islamic Jihadists -- members of the same religion that wants to build the Islamic Mosque at Ground Zero.

When you look at the history, Islamists have built mosques in places where they have conquered for centuries. Having Obama replace President Bush gave the Muslims the opening the Islamists needed to build this Mosque at Ground Zero. Why isn't the media calling this an Islamic Mosque because that is exactly what it is. You cannot bury the fact it is Islamic just like you cannot bury the fact that two people in Afghanistan were stoned to death this week for having an affair in defiance of Shariah Law. This is Shariah Law that the Islamists want to bring into America. As we reported earlier, they already control AIG where Sharia Law is recognized and the company bailed out by the Obama Administration which was 'too big to fail' or was it bailed out because it is owned by Muslims?

America Taxpayer - Financial Jihadist

It is “financial jihad,” explained Yusuf Qaradawi, the Muslim Brotherhood’s sharia compass — and the man Feisal Rauf, the brains behind the proposed Ground Zero mosque, admires as “the most well-known legal authority in the whole Muslim world today.” It was 2002 and Qaradawi, who endorses suicide bombing and the targeting of American personnel operating in Islamic countries, was giving a lecture on the need to use the international financial system to support Islamist goals — like Hamas’s war to destroy Israel.
The bottom line is that Americans have a right to be concerned about the Muslim push to build this Islamic Mosque near Ground Zero due to their history.  The New York Port authority will not allow St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church to rebuild their Church. Where is their religious freedom for St. Nicholas that Obama and others are touting for the Islamic Mosque?

Muslims, not Americans, are religious bigots
August 20, 2010

According to an article in Time magazine, there has been no increase in violence against Muslims since the announcement of plans to build a mosque near Ground Zero. (Alan Diaz/AP)

Time magazine asked this week whether America has “a Muslim problem,” and suggested that “many” of those opposed to the Ground Zero mosque “are motivated by deep-seated Islamophobia.” The same article scowls disapprovingly that “46% of Americans believe Islam is more likely than other faiths to encourage violence against nonbelievers.” (What could have possibly given them that idea?)

But, as the article concedes, there has been no increase in violence against Muslims. In reality, Americans remain fastidiously tolerant of all religions, even one that inspired 19 fanatics to hijack four commercial airliners on 9/11 and kill more than 3,000 Americans in the bloodiest attack in our nation’s history. Time requires a peculiar sort of blindness to see so much imagined intolerance in America — especially based solely on “anecdotal evidence” — while nearly ignoring the religious intolerance in most Islamic countries. A group of triumphalist Muslims seeks to erect an Islamic center near Ground Zero in a city that already has 100 mosques, and they face, at worst, disapproval, stern looks and calls to relocate their project.

Contrast this with a news report by journalist Mindy Belz in the current issue of World magazine, concerning Afghanistan’s small community of Christian converts. Belz describes how an Afghan television station recently broadcast a video of a baptismal service, sparking riots in the streets of Kabul and leading to the arrest of 25 Christians. Nobody knows at this time the fate of those arrested. Because it is illegal for Muslims to convert in Afghanistan — as it is in most Islamic countries — people who choose any other faith face the death penalty. Adherents of other religions, meanwhile, are subject to official discrimination and persecution, despite guarantees to the contrary in Afghanistan’s constitution. Thus, the plight of Christians is shared in many Islamic countries by Buddhists, Baha’is, Hindus and Zoroastrians.
