"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

GroundHog Day 2012 -- Six More Weeks of Winter

Groundhog Day 2012: Punxsutawney Phil emerges from his burrow

At 7:25 a.m. this morning, amidst mostly cloudy skies, and temperatures in the low 30s, Groundhog Phil saw his shadow in the little town of Punxsutawney, Pa. (via AP)

NOTE:  If it is six more weeks of the weather we have been having in Norman, OK, then I will gladly take six more weeks of winter.  If it is the winter of last year where we had a huge ice storm a year ago this week after a blizzard earlier -- no thanks!    Actually it was cloudy here first thing this morning so he would not have seen his shadow early.

Six more weeks of winter at the temperatures they have been having in Pennsylvania wouldn't be bad either.

The funniest quote I saw came from the Washington Post:
DC GroundHog predicts six more weeks of winter and gridlock
Would say that the DC GroundHog has nailed it!
