"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

Times Calls Rick Perry Critic 'Republican Activist,' Leaves Off His Far-Left Environmental Activism

Did Ashley Parker who writes for the NY Times think she could get by calling Rubens a Republican activist when he is a consultant with the left-wing environmental group Union of Concerned Scientists.  No self-respecting conservative Republican activist would go close to them for any amount of money.  The Times has so many lies and mistruths that the Media Research Center has a Times Watch that comes to my email with the latest.

Who planted Rubens to ask a queston?  Governor Perry and Mitt Romney are on opposite sides of the global warming with Romney believing it is caused by man along with Huntsman who says all those scientists cannot be wrong?   Gov Perry is on the side of Senator Inhofe (R-OK) on global warming.  Still think Senator Inhofe has the best two words to describe the science of global warming -- 'junk science.'
Times Calls Rick Perry Critic 'Republican Activist,' Leaves Off His Far-Left Environmental Activism
Ashley Parker's report on Rick Perry featured six paragraphs on a global warming discussion between Perry and N.H. citizen Jim Rubens, described by Parker as a “a Republican activist and high-tech investor from Etna." But the Times left out the fact that Rubens is also a consultant with the left-wing environmental group Union of Concerned Scientists.
