'my way or no way' are drawing to a close. How dumb does he think Americans are to think a 'Professional Politician' knows more than the rest of us since he and his ilk got us in this crises by passing all those bills without reading except they cost money. For two years under Democrat rule, the deficit skyrocketed and now he thinks the 'professional politician' has the answers? Give me a break.
This is an insult to the American who understand perfectly what the debt ceiling is about along with the deficit that we have because of runaway spending and bailouts by the Obama Administration. Ground Air Force One and quit making the American people pay for him and his families vacations and we can start to put a dent in the budget. Since he is a 'professional politician' time for the Democrat National Committee to pay for all his political trips which seems to be all of them.
What an arrogant jerk and January 2013 cannot come soon enough for most of us when we can retire Obama to perhaps Kenya where he can be treated like a King which he wants to be! He never did understand what it meant to be President and make the tough decisions but he sure knows what it is like to charge the taxpayers for all his perks and giving his staff 8% pay raises when civil service and social received no increases for two years.
Obama : 'Professional Politicians' Understand Debt Crisis Better Than 'The Public'Monday, July 11, 2011
July 11, 2011.
(CNSNews.com) - At a White House press conference today, President Barack Obama said that "professional politicians" understand the debt crisis better than "the public."
Obama was responding to a question from CBS News Reporter Chip Reid. “The latest CBS News poll showed that only 24 percent of Americans said that you should raise the debt limit to avoid an economic catastrophe," said Reid. "There’s still 69 percent who oppose raising the debt limit. So, is it the problem that you and others have failed to convince the American people that we have a crisis here and how are you going to change that?”
Obama responded: “Let me distinguish between professional politicians and the public at large. You know, the public is not paying close attention to the ins and outs of how a Treasury auction goes. They shouldn’t. They’re worrying about their family, they’re worrying about their jobs. They’re worrying about their neighborhood. They have got a lot of other things on their plate. We’re paid to worry about it.”
