"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

Former FL Senator Mel Martinez endorses Romney

What did Rove and Bush 41 promise Mel Martinez to get this endorsement?  Logical question when you know that Romney has been taking after Perry on the 2001 Texas Law to educate students of illegals at the in-state tuition rate which was passed overwhelmingly but now is Perry's fault according to Romney and Cain.  This from the Senator who pushed comprehension immigration reform?  Makes no sense but like a lot of this election surrounding Romney and Cain it has made no sense unless you want four more years of Obama.
Mel Martinez endorses Mitt Romney
October 10, 2011
Former U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez, a John McCain backer last time, has endorsed Mitt Romney. The former Massachusetts governor has been bludgeoning Rick Perry for some moderate immigration positions, and presumably won't tout Martinez's support for comprehensive immigration reform a few years back.
Martinez: “I have great confidence that Mitt Romney is the candidate to get our country back on track. Unemployment remains a pressing issue both in Florida and across the nation. Now more than ever, we need a leader who will get our country’s fiscal house in order. From his experience in the private sector, Mitt Romney understands how the real economy works and how jobs are created. As Governor of Massachusetts, he balanced the budget without raising taxes. I am proud to support him."
