There are times that editorial cartoons tell the whole story and this is one of those. John Kerry was bad at flip flopping on issues but he could not hold a candle to Mitt Romney whose flip flops on core issues have become legendary. Then he tries to lie that he didn't mean what he said even though he had been saying it for some time. Now it is gotcha questions. Romney is not a conservative as you can see from the facts and his flip flops:
RomneyCare where the facts are there for those to see since he did sign into law that illegals could get free healthcare in Massachusetts and his people that help write RomneyCare used parts of it as a basis for ObamaCare
Pro-choice flip flop came after he ran for Governor of MA in 2002. When he ran for governor of Massachusetts in 2002, Romney was adamantly pro -choice. "I respect and will protect a woman's right to choose:" He didn't hesitate to tell everyone he would be a pro-choice Governor and even his wife got in the act declaring he would always be pro-choice. (campaign videos exist showing his pro-choice stance in 2002)
Man made global warming is real (June 3, 2011)where he was a proponent until this summer when someone in his camp figured out most Republicans agreed with Senator Inhofe that it was junk science.
Opposing Sam Alito in 1997 as part of a liberal group.
Supported Planned Parenthood attending a fundraiser in 1994 (doesn't remember today) when he was running against Sen Kennedy when he attended a PP fundraiser and continued while he was Governor.
2006: Romneycare guarantees Planned Parenthood a seat at the table. Romney's legislation created an advisory board and guarantees, by law, that Planned Parenthood has a seat at the table. Romney's plan established a MassHealth payment policy advisory board, and one member of the Board must be from Planned Parenthood. No pro-life organization is represented. (Chapter 58 Section 3 (q) Section 16M (a), www.mass.gov/legis/laws/seslaw06/sl060058.htm)
Against Right to Work in Ohio and then claimed it was a gotcha question he didn't understand. Excuse me but this is his 2nd race for President so the use of he didn't understand the question or it was a gotcha is laughable. If Mitt Romney cannot be trusted in a primary election not to flip flop on his beliefs, how can we be sure the faux conservative won't do a 180 and become the most liberal Republican ever if he was nominated and elected? Romney seems to have no core values just the values of someone trolling for votes and will say what it takes to get those votes.
Democrats would have a field day with Romney and all his flip flops. What a horrible candidate the establishment is trying to make the nominee with Mitt Romney running as a faux conservative. The attacks on Rick Perry have shown just how low they will go to get Romney as the nominee. This time Rove, Ailes, Morris, and Fox News have left their fingerprints all over.
Time for conservatives to rise up and say NO to Mitt Romney, Flip Flopper Extraordinaire!
