"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

House Republican Conference Chair Mike Pence Reacts to Latest Unemployment Report

Will the Democrats be so angry at voters after November 2nd they will allow ALL the Bush tax cuts to expire? We would not be shocked if they did just that in retaliation for being turned out of office. Mike Pence  has been a strong voice common sense in his opposition to the failed economic policies of Obama and his Administration, but Obama/Pelosi listen to no one. Common Sense has been tossed out the window right along with our economy.  Mike Pence understands what it takes to get the economy moving again and it is not another stimulus since the first wasted millions of dollars on unnecessary projects.

House Republican Conference Chair Mike Pence Reacts to Latest Unemployment Report

“The American people are hurting under the weight of the failed economic policies of this administration. On top of the borrowing, spending and bailouts, Democrats are poised to allow the biggest tax increase in American history to take effect on January 1, 2011.”
Washington, DC - U.S. Congressman Mike Pence, Chairman of the House Republican Conference, released the following statement today after the Labor Department reported that the economy lost 95,000 jobs in September:

“The American people are hurting under the weight of the failed economic policies of this administration. On top of the borrowing, spending and bailouts, Democrats are poised to allow the biggest tax increase in American history to take effect on January 1, 2011.

“It’s time for a new direction to get this economy moving again. Congress should come back to Washington and vote immediately to ensure that there will be no tax increases on American families, small business owners, and family farms.”
The latest unemployment figures are not good news as reported by the New York Times:

U.S. Economy Lost 95,000 Jobs in September; Jobless Rate Steady at 9.6%
The United States economy shed 95,000 nonfarm jobs in
September, the Labor Department reported Friday, with gains
in private-sector employment outweighed by cutbacks in
government payrolls. The steep drop was far worse than
economists had been predicting.

While private companies added 64,000 jobs, total government
employment fell by 159,000. The unemployment rate, which
measures the percentage of workers actively looking for but
unable to find jobs, stayed at 9.6 percent.

The recovery that officially began in June 2009 has slowed
considerably in recent months, raising concerns about the
long slog the country will have to endure before the economy
finally starts to feel healthy again.

We understand the Labor Department puts out that the unemployment rate is still at 9.6%, but what about those people who have quit looking for full time employment? Why are those numbers left out of the unemployment numbers?

The American voters will be casting their votes three weeks from Tuesday and have yet to see a recovery no matter how much the White House and the media want us to believe it is happening. We believe the American people are going to speak very loud on November 2nd as they recognize that Obama/Pelosi/Reid have destroyed our economy not helped it with the failed bailouts, wasted stimulus money, and the Obamacare plan for starters. This group of leftist doesn't have a clue how to grow the economy and need replaced.

We have a chance to send many of the Democrats to the unemployment lines on November 2nd and start to turn the economy back around by extending the Bush Tax Cuts and cutting spending. Then in November 2012, we need to finish the job by turning out the man who wanted the title of President but not the work involved -- Obama along with his socialist ideas.
