"A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men
from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government."

John Raese is a businessman, a family man and – first and foremost – a West Virginian!

That statement sums up John Raese who is running against the Governor of West Virginia to fill the Senate seat left by the death of Robert Byrd. The more you learn about John Raese and his conservative values, the more you realize that this man will represent all of West Virginia when he goes to the Senate. West Virginia is not a liberal state but a state that when someone is elected, they keep sending them back. Now is the time with this open seat for West Virginians to send a Conservative to the Senate to represent the conservative values of a lot of West Virginians.

Last thing West Virginians need in the Senate is another rubber stamp for Obama and his agenda -- they have one of those with Jay Rockefeller. Now they can have a voice by sending the Conservative John Raese to the Senate from West Virginia.
NRSC Statement On West Virginia Senate Debate
Monday, October 18, 2010 @ 08:10 PM

National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Communications Director Brian Walsh issued the following statement in response to the West Virginia U.S. Senate debate this evening:

“West Virginians know that the Obama policies rubber-stamped by Joe Manchin, like ObamaCare and the $787 stimulus debacle, have failed to create jobs while driving our national debt past $13.6 trillion. And no matter how hard Joe Manchin tries to run from his record and past statements, one thing is clear – a vote for Joe Manchin on November 2nd is a vote for the Obama agenda.”
Last night's debate showed that Manchin no matter what positions he is attempting to portray now is nothing but an Obama rubber stamp. With Obama not campaigning for his good friend, Manchin, it shows the Obama factor would have a negative impact on this race for Machin as he tries to run away from his all out support for Obama.  Manchin has one major problem in that he cannot hide the fact he has been on board with Obama and his agenda from Day One. Reminder to all on what WV Governor Manchin supports:

Manchin is a Rubber Stamp for Obama on Obamacare:

Kerry like flip flopping continues by Manchin, Crist, and others who have shown a lack of core values as they pander for votes. If you truly believe something, you will stand up and continue to support that agenda. It is only when you are willing to sell out your core values that you come across as phony which is what Manchin is doing today.

West Virginians have a chance to fill the seat left vacant by Byrd with a lifelong West Virginian John Raese who will represent their Conservative values.  Time to tell Governor Manchin -- NO THANKS!
